Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektifitas model Just Community terhadap pengembangan karakter Anak Binaan Hukum (ABH) di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA). Subjek penelitian ini adalah ABH yang berusia 14 sampai 18 berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan telah berada di LPKA selama 1 bulan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksprimen model randomized pretest-posttest control group design yaitu dua kelompok kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan pengolahan data didapatkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara karakter ABH pada kelompok eksperimen dengan karakter ABH pada kelompok kontrol. Rata-rata gain score karakter ABH pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 0,302 lebih besar dari rata-rata gain score karakter ABH kelompok kontrol sebesar 0,165. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Just Community dapat meningkatkan karakteristik ABH di LPKA

Abstract

Peer conformity is an action or behavior of a person that is displayed due to the influence of others, namely peers. The aspects of peer friendship are normative and informational. Discipline is a condition that is created and formed through an attitude that shows the values of obedience, obedience, order, and order. Discipline aspects are dress, punctuality, social behavior, and learning ethics. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between peer conformity and student discipline at SMK N 1 Batipuh. This type of research is descriptive and correlational research using quantitative methods. The research subjects were 84 students who were in class XII at SMK N 1 Batipuh who were registered in the 2020/2021 school year. The research findings reveal that (1) peer friendship is generally in the medium category, (2) student discipline in general is in the sufficiently disciplined category, (3) there is a significant relationship between peer friendship and student discipline in school. So the better the student's peer conformity, the more obedient he or she is in implementing discipline. Based on the findings of this penalty, it is hoped that the counseling teacher or counselor can provide assistance in the form of Guidance and Counseling.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that exists in junior high schools. The phenomenon that occurs is in the form of difficulty in understanding the material due to differences in the different learning processes between elementary and junior high schools. This transitional period affects student learning motivation. therefore, students are required to be able to adapt to the new environment in order to be able to achieve good learning outcomes and optimal self-development. This study aims to describe learning motivation, describe student adjustment and examine the relationship between learning motivation and student adjustment.The research method used is descriptive and correlational approaches. The population of this study were students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 38 Padang, totaling 216 students. The number of samples in this study was 153 students. Sampling using Simple Random Sampling technique. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and correlational analysis, testing the research hypothesis using the Pearson Product Moment correlation formula. The results showed that: (1) students' learning motivation was in the high category, (2) students' adjustment was in the high category, (3) there was a significant positive relationship between learning motivation and students' adjustment with a correlation of 0.859 with a very strong category at significance level of 0.000. Thus the counseling teacher can maintain and improve student learning motivation and student adjustment by using guidance and counseling services for students.

Abstract

The "manjanguak" tradition is a series of funeral ceremonies held at the funeral home which is attended by family and relatives. The study of the manjanguak tradition is more concerned with the social values contained in it such as value of character education. This is because the manjanguak tradition is a tradition that exists in the human social realm that contains character education values. However, there has not been much discussion of its influence on the individual psychological aspects of this tradition. Humans are social creatures that are closely related to their environment. Humans who are detached from social ties will experience mental health problems such as low self-esteem and low self-control. Therefore, this article is a literature review that discusses all the dimensions contained in the manjangauak tradition. This article focuses not only on the social learning process and the values of character education, but also on the individual psychological effects of the manjanguak tradition.

Abstract

Self-adjustment is the individual's ability to deal with changes in the environment and in it there is an effort to achieve a harmonious relationship between environmental demands and the demands that exist within the individual. Self-adjustment is influenced by peer environmental factors. This study aims to look at the description of students 'self-adjustment, peer social support, and to examine the relationship between peer social support and students' adjustment. The study population was students of SMP Negeri 7 Bukittinggi, amounting to 440 people, with a sample of 210 students, selected by stratified random sampling. The results of this study indicate: (1) peer social support is in the high category, (2) adjustment is in the high category, (3) there is a relationship the positive significant between peer social support with adjustment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon in the field still found students who have low motivation to following the learning process. One of the factors causing motivation to learn is the environmental conditions of students who do not support so students do not have an interest in learning and social relationships of students with their peers This study aims to see an overview of students' learning motivation, peer social support, and test the relationship of social support peers with student learning motivation. This research is a descriptive correlational study. With a sample of 222 students selected using a sampling technique chosen by simple random sampling technique. Data collection uses peer support social questionnaires and learning motivation with Likert scale models. The results of this study indicate: (1) peer social support is in the high category with a score of 118 and a percentage of 53.2%, (2) learning motivation is in the high category with a score of 129 and a percentage of 58.1%, (3) there is a relationship a significant positive between peer social support with learning motivation with rxy = 0.458 and a significant level of 0,000. The findings of this study can be a reference for BK teachers in making programs to provide BK services to students.

Abstract

This study aims to prevent juvenile delinquency behavior by developing a counseling model of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The problem of counseling skills for counseling teachers is an interesting study to do because in the industrial revolution era there were many problems for adolescents. The counseling model of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is important to train teachers BK because this counseling model has a problem-solving focus on cognitive restructuring compared to other counseling models and approaches. The development of this model training was carried out for BK Teachers at SMP and SMA Padang Panjang. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis that has been carried out, it shows that the implementation of individual counseling by BK teachers with the CBT approach is generally in the medium category with an achievement of 74.6%. Furthermore, the implementation of individual counseling by BK teachers with the CBT approach is in the high category with an achievement of 17.6% and a small proportion is in the low category with an achievement of 5.9%. The results of this analysis illustrate that, the implementation of individual counseling by BK teachers with the CBT approach still needs to be developed.

Abstract

Body esteem is how a person evaluates body parts and body functions. Exploitation of media makes a person tend to judge negatively on his body which affects the occurrence of social anxiety. This study aims to analyze body esteem and its relationship with social anxiety in late adolescents. The participants were are 42 young male and 190 young female students of the Guidance and Counseling Department at Universitas Negeri Padang. The mean age is 19.5 years and SD is 1.05 years. This research method is quantitative and the data is processed by Pearson Correlations. The results showed that there are a relationship between negative body esteem with high social anxiety that occurred in both gender with r = 0,389, r = 0,403 in female and r = 0, 319 in male

Abstract

Kehidupan efektif sehari-hari manusia dapat disebabkan oleh hambatan dan gangguan. Hambatan dan gangguan itu dapat berasal dari dalam diri dan dari luar diri. Salah satu gangguan untuk mencapai kehidupan efektif sehari-hari adalah gangguan psikologis atau kesehatan mental. Konseling dan psikoterapi adalah layanan yang dapat membantu manusia dalam mengatasi gangguan psikologis dan kesehatan mental. Konseling dan psikoterapi disebut sebagai professional helping relationship, namun kedua layanan tersebut memiliki konsep dan objek praktik yang berbeda. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji dan menganalisa konseling dan psikoterapi berdasarkan konsep dan aplikasinya sebagai professional helping relationship. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literatur-literatur yang berkaitan dengan pembahasan, seperti buku, artikel ilmiah, laporan hasil penelitian, dan salinan dokumen peraturan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kajian dan analisa konseling dan psikoterapi sebagai professional helping relationship.
