Abstract

The objective of this study is to descript the individual students differences in the Introduction to Accounting 1 course and how is the implications in learning process. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The population is all of students of the Department of Economics, who took Accounting Introduction 1 course, during   The period from July to December 2018, and the sample are 32 students. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Research results showed that students had different educational backgrounds who came from Senior High School majoring in Science, Senior High School majoring in Social Sciences, Vocational High School majoring in Accounting and Vocational High School not majoring in Accounting, From research data, it is also known that there are differences in the ability of students to take part in Accounting learning and only 33.33 % of students who are interested will choose accounting as their choice of expertise. From the results of the study it was suggested to the lecturers who supervise the Accounting Introduction 1 to use multi instructional methods so that individual student differences can be minimized.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji  kebijakan e-Learning di Universitas Negeri Padang, ditinjau dari Kualitas informasi e-learning yang digunakan dan bagaimana dampaknya terhadap  motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, Sampel berjumlah sebanyak 80 orang yang berasal dari 6 Fakultas. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner, dan diolah dengan menggunakan statistic SEM-PLS. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa  (1) Kualitas Informasi elearning memiliki pengaruh dan hubungan positif terhadap penggunaan e-learning oleh mahasiswa(2) Penggunaan e-laerning memiliki pengaruh dan hubungan positif terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa, (3) Kualitas informasi elearning memiliki pengaruh dan hubungan yang negatif terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan bisa menjadi bahan pertimbangan oleh pengambil kebijakan di Universitas Negeri padang dalam memaksimalkan penggunaan e-learning oleh mahasiswa sehingga bisa berdampak positif terhadap motivasi mahasiswa dalam belajar. Kata kunci  :   Kualitas Informasi, Penggunaan E-Learning, Motivasi Belajar, SEM-PLS

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran di SLTPN 7 Kota Payakumbuh masih belum maksimal, baik sebagai media pembelajaran maupun untuk  evaluasi. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pelatihan ini dimulai dengan orientasi materi, setelah dicapai kesepakatan maka  pada saat pelatihan diberikan pemaparan mengenai konsep media, evaluasi dan prosedur bagaimana memanfaatkan aplikasi media pembelajaran interaktif (lectora inspire) dan aplikasi kuis (quiz maker). Setelah tahap pemaparan dilanjutkan dengan diskusi dan tanya jawab mengenai tata cara penggunaan aplikasi lectora inspire dan quiz maker. tahap berikutnya adalah latihan terbimbing, latihan mandiri dan ditutup dengan evaluasi.bHasil yang diperoleh dari pelatihan ini adalah  guru-guru di SLTPN 7 Kota Payakumbuh bisa mendapatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman  dalam menggunakan aplikasi lectora inspire dan quiz maker yang berguna untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and see the effect of parents' income on the financial behavior of students of the Faculty of Economics, Padang State University. This type of research is associative descriptive with a population of 521 students of Economic Education at the UNP. The sampling technique is Proportional Random Sampling with a sample of 84 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires. To ensure the questionnaire used in this study, a validity test and a reliability test were performed. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 20. Previously the prerequisite test analysis was done using the normality test, linearity test, and homogeneity test. Financial behavior of students of Economic Education, FE UNP is in quite good category. The results showed that parental income did not have a significant effect on the financial behavior of FE UNP Economic Education students. Suggestions for students whose parents are classified as low income should be wise in managing finances, especially in the aspects of making expenditure and expenditure budgets, providing funds for unexpected expenses, and saving periodically. As for students whose parents are classified as moderate and high income, they must routinely make budgets for expenditure and expenditures, and record expenses and expenditures both daily, weekly and monthly. And for students whose parents are classified as very high income must also be routine in making spending and expenditure budgets, as well as saving periodically.Keywords : parent income, and financial behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effects of the learning motivation and parents’ incomes on the college student interest in joining the PPG program study at the Department of Economic education FE UNP. This research is associative descriptive. The research variables were the college student interest in joining the PPG program, learning motivation, and parents’ incomes. The research sample comprised college students 2015 and 2016 admission year using the Proportional Random Sampling technique with a total of 130 college students. The data was collected through a questionnaire. Methods of data analysis using multiple regression. The results of the study partially show: (1) there is a significant negative influence between learning motivation and college student interest in joining the PPG program, (2) there is a significant positive effect of parents' income on college student interest. in joining the PPG program, and (3) there is a significant positive effect between learning motivation and parents' income on college students' interest in joining the PPG program. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.086. this means that the contribution of independent variables of learning motivation and parent's income to the dependent variable of student interest in joining the PPG program was 8,6%. Abstract

This article aims to describe how the entrepreneurial competence of vocational school students after being given training in compiling a business plan using the Business Model Canvas. The Business Model Canvas is a comprehensive yet practical business model. This article uses a descriptive method, because this research is not intended to test certain hypotheses but only describes "what is" about the conditions to be studied, the research was conducted at SMKN 1 Baso. Data were collected using a questionnaire from 28 respondents. From the research results it is known that there is an increase in understanding, skills and insights of students in entrepreneurship, especially in making business plans using the business model canvas

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the effect of student perceptions about the role of micro teaching courses on student teaching readiness. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population of this research is the 2014 UNP FE Economics Education students who have completed the micro teaching course and the Education Field Experience Program course totaling 84 people. The sampling technique is saturated sampling (total sampling) so that the entire population is sampled. Research data are primary data collected by questionnaire. Instrument testing uses validity and reliability tests. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inductive analysis using normality test, heterocedasticity test, hypothesis testing using simple regression, t test and coefficient of determination with α = 0.05. The results showed that there was a significant and positive influence between students' perceptions of  the role of micro teaching courses on student teaching readiness, namely sig 0,000 <0,05. Keywords: Perception, Role, Micro Teaching, Teaching Readiness

Abstract

This study aims to examine the direct effect of teacher teaching variations and student interest in learning outcomes of class X IS students of SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang on economic subjects in the 2018/2019 school year. The population in this study were all students of class X IS in SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The sample used is the total sample. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. Test analysis conducted is a test of normality, homogeneity and path analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is no effect of teacher teaching variations on student learning outcomes, (2) there is no effect of student learning interest on student learning outcomes, (3) there is an influence between variations in teacher teaching methods on student learning interests. the suggestions of the researchers in this study are (1) to the principal to provide training to teachers in an effort to improve teaching skills to all teachers in the field of study in SMA Pertiwi 1 padang especially the ability to implement varied, effective and efficient learning methods. (2) to teachers to attend training held by schools to be able to hold teaching methods that are not only varied but also effective and efficient. And pay attention to the development of student learning outcomes, so that they can be evaluated so that students can obtain satisfying learning outcomes and strive to pay attention to other factors beyond which the researcher is careful to improve student learning outcomes that are more dominant.(3) students are advised to be serious in following the learning process, increase interest in reading more books or articles on economics and repeat lessons when at home so they do not forget and have difficulty answering exam questions.(4) to researchers to conduct deeper research regarding the factors that influence student learning outcomes, especially those outside of the current research researchers. Keyword: variations in teaching, interest in learning, economic learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the direct influence of spiritual intelligence and peer relationship on economic learning achievement of class X SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung in the 2018/2019 school year. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population of this study were all students of class X SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung in the academic year 2018/2019 with a total of 364 students. The sampling technique is proportional random smpling with a sample size of 190 respondents. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis, normality test, heterokedasticity tes, multicollinearity test, multiple regression analysis, F test, and t test. The result of this study indicates that: 1) spiritual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on economic learning achievement, 2) peer relations has a positive and significant effect on economic learning achievement, 3) spiritual intelligence and peer relationship has a significant effect on economic learning achievement. In an effort tp improve economic learning achievement of class X students of SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung Academic Year 2018/2019, student is expected to be able to increase spiritual intelligence and pay attention to peer relationship that have a positive influence to improve learning achievement of economic subjects.Keyword: spiritual intelligence, peer relationship, learning achievement

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial ratios and company size on the financial distress condition of manufacturing companies. Financial distress is measured by an interest coverage ratio, a ratio that is smaller than 1 in the category of financial distress.the financial ratio in this study use liquidity ratios measured by the current ratio, leverage ratio as measured by debt to total asset ratio, and profitability ratio measured by return on investment. The size of the company in this study uses a proxy ln for total assets. The population in this study is manufacturing sector companies in 2015-2017. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling.the sample used inthis study was 69 companies consisting of 24 companies categorized as financial distress and 45 non-financial distres.data analysis techniques using logistic regression analysis with dummy cariables. The results showed hat the liquidity ratio had a significant negative effect, leverage ratio has no significant effect, profitability ratios have a negative and significant effect,and firm size does not significantly influence financial distress. For company manager, it is recommended to pay attention to the factors that influence financial distress in order to be able to overcome the problem earlier. For the next researchers is expected to add a number of other variables that are suspected to have an influence of financial distress and it is recommended to choose other research objects, in order to expand the research objects so that it is able to generalize the result of the study and use other types of financial distress measurement in addition to the interest coverage ratio (ICR). Keyword: liquidity, leverage, profitability, firm size, financial distress
