Abstract

In this paper, we analyze the condition among province in Indonesia especially about the convergence or divergence in gross domestic regional product. This research usedsecondary data for the 1988-2008 periods. We divide the periods as four episodes, based on the presidential terms. They are 1988-1999, 1999-2001, 2001-2004, and 2004-2008.Entrophy Theil index, coefficients of variation, Kuznets’ hypothesis test, absolute convergence, and conditional convergence were used in this research. This research foundthat the convergence in gross domestic regional product happened in every period of the presidential leadership in Indonesia. We also found that regional economic growth inIndonesia is determined by gross domestic regional product per capita, oil and gas resources, general allocation funds and revenue sharing funds.Keywords: convergence, regional economic growth, gross domestic regional product

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the profile of SMEs metal and to analyze the predictors that differentiate the performance achievement of metalworkers in Pasir Wetan Village, Karanglewas Sub-District, Banyumas Regency using primary data obtained from direct interviews with metalworkers in Pasir Wetan Village, Karanglewas Sub-District, Banyumas Regency. Primary data included the data of net income rate, the amount of labor used, the amount of bank credit received, business duration, education level, and the amount of production. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and discriminant analysis. The analysis results indicated that the increase in the amount of production and the amount of labor used were the predictors that differentiate the revenue achievement between superior metalworkers group and non-superior metalworkers group. In addition, the amount of production was the best predictor to differentiate the revenue achievement between superior metalworkers group and non-superiors metalworker group.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of coffee farmers and the added value of the coffee industry. The population in this study amounted to 25 coffee farmers in Gambuhan Village. Retrieval techniques with direct interviews with coffee farmers and data analysis using profit analysis and Hayami method. The results showed that coffee farmers' income was IDR 3,421,000.00 and profits were IDR 2,742,450.00. The added value of the coffee industry is Rp45,887.00 per kilogram with 99.87 percent of the added value received by the owner of the coffee industry and 0.31 percent received by the workforce. This finding implies that coffee farmers should sell their crops to consumers, thereby reducing farmers' dependence on middlemen. This can be a strategy to increase the income and welfare of coffee farmers in Gambuhan village. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pendapatan petani kopi dan nilai tambah industri kopi.Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 25 petani kopi di Desa Gambuhan. Teknik pengambilan dengan wawancara langsung dengan petani kopi dan analisis data menggunakan analisis keuntungan dan metode Hayami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan menunjukkan bahwa pentapatan petani kopi sebesar Rp3.421.000,00 dan keuntungan sebesar Rp2.742.450,00. Nilai tambah industri kopi yaitu sebesar Rp45.887,00 per kilogram dengan 99,87 persen nilai tambah diterima pemilik industri kopi dan 0,31 persen diterima oleh tenaga kerja. Temuan ini mengimplikasi bahwa petani kopi sebaiknya menjual hasil tani nya kepada konsumen, sehingga mengurangi ketergantungan petani kepada tengkulak. Hal ini dapat menjadi suatu strategi untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan petani kopi di desa Gambuhan.

Abstract

This study aims, first, identify the economic position of each district in terms of economic growth and Barlingmascakeb per capita income level. Second, identify the dominant different districts of the economic structure Barlingmascakeb. Third, Identify differences in the economic structure of the district members Barlingmascakeb. This study used the period 1995-2002, secondary data consisting of regional gross domestic product (GDP), including oil and gas on the basis of constant prices of 1993, Fourthly, identify the districts that have the most advantageous position in terms of levels of accessibility. This study uses secondary data for the period 1995-2002, which consists of gross regional domestic product (GRDP), including oil and gas based on constant prices of 1993, total population, distance inter district/city, number of tourists housed in hotels, the amount of bus company and the number of vehicles, number of hotel. This research uses Klassen typology analysis, growth models (MRP) analysis, the location quotient analysis (LQ), Divergence Index Krugman analysis, and connectivity analysis quotient data (CQ). The results of the study, Cilacap is included in the classification of fast forward and fast-growing. Purbalingga included in the classification of areas of rapid growth. District Banjarnegara, Banyumas and Kebumen district included in the classification of relatively left behind areas.
