Abstract

This research based on the phenomenon that occurred in the field of learners irritability if asked by the teacher supervising the situation himself. The researchers raised the issue with the title Developing Emotional Intelligence of Students in Individual Counseling in SMA 11 Padang. The purpose of this research describe: 1) The form of negative emotions that arise in the students individual counseling. 2) The positive emotions that arise in individual counseling. 3) How the development of emotional intelligence of students in individual counseling. This research was a descriptive quantitative research, the population was students of SMA Negeri 11 Padang who has done individual counseling .Instrument that used was a questionnaire and data analysis techniques using percentage analysis .The results showed that: 1) The form of positive emotions learners appeared quite well with the percentage of 40.83, %. 2) The negative emotions of students who appeared quite well with the percentage of 53.33 %, and 3) How the development of emotional intelligence in counseling individual students quite well with the percentage of 63.33 %.

Abstract

Based on problem studied that researcher found look at phenomenon is the field any adolescent droupout and some of his friend did not want out of the house to hang out and there is also a loner because do not like crowds. Based on the phenomenon that the researcher raisaid concerns about: what were factors affect adolescent adjustment droup out in Batang Kariang Kecamatan Kamang Baru Kabupaten Sijunjung. The purposes these studied were to discribe: 1). Factor that affect adolescent adjustment droup out views of the personality 2). Factor that affect adolescent adjustment droup out views of the  environment. This researchd was quantitative descriptive research that seeks to describe the situation for what it is. The study population amounted to 51 peoples. The techniques used in this sampling were a sampling technique and a total sample size of 51 people. The instrument used in this study is questionnaire. As for the use of data analysis is techniques percentage. The research results revealed that: 1). Factors that affect adolescent adjustment drop out seen in the category of personality pretty much, it can be seen from the results of the study showed the number 82.35 % 2 ). Factors that affect adolescent adjustment dropout seen enough of the environment, it can be seen from the results of the study showed the number 88.23 %.

Abstract

The purpose of  this research was to describe the effectiveness of the use of students learning time at SMA Negeri Padang as follow: 1). To describe the effectiveness of the use of learning time in students school at SMA Negeri 11 Padang, and 2). To describe the effective ness of the use of learning time in students house at SMA Negeri 11 Padang. The type of this research was descriptive research. The sample classes were X5, XI IPA1 and XII IPS1 at SMA Negeri 11 Padang. This research used purposive random sampling technique in getting the sample. The data was analyzed through percentage formula. The research result could be described as follow: 1). The effective ennes of the use of students learning time shown from the use of learning time at school was in effective enough criteria with category 67% by indicator used learning schedule at school was effective ennogh criteria, the learning time that used was in effectife enough criteria 67%, and 2). The effectiveness of the use of students learning time shown from the use of learning time at home was effective enough criteria in category 68% with indicator used learning indicator used learning schedule at home was effective enough criteria in 69% and learning time that used in effective enough criteria 66%. The researcher suggested that the students’ had to use theirleisure time to studyin library more effectively.

Abstract

The fact showing that learners do not have interpersonal intelligence associated with social interaction and communication. The problem in this research is how the interpersonal level students at SMK 6 Padang. This research aimed to describe the social interaction and communication skills of students.This research is a descriptive study that is tried to describe about one of the condition itself. The population in this study was the students of class XI amounting to 169 people, this study used sample of 62 people. The way of sampling is done by using a proportional random sampling, which samples were taken is compare to the number of population in each class. The sources of data in this study is primary data that is class XI. The data of research were processed using techniques percentage. Results of this study said that interpersonal intelligence of class XI  students in terms of social interaction at the high category 83.3%. While on the of communication in middle category means that 95.2% of students have not been able to communicate well with other people.

Abstract

This problem is motivated by the citizen of landslides victims.With the landslide many people feel sad, trauma, stress, disappointment and even despair, as well aswith the disaster also make sphysical condition they were interrupted. The purposeof this study is to see how the psychological state and physical condition of the victims of landslide. In this thesis, the type of research is a type of field research by using qualitative research, with descriptive type shaped words written or spoken of the object being observed. Through Snowball sampling techniques, which are sampling a small amount at first, then growing like a snowball. Based on the results of a study of the landslide victims in the village of Muaro Air, sub-district of Bayang Utara, Pesisir Selatan regency, it can be concluded that the psychological condition of avalanche victims are generally disturbed, they still feel scared and saddened by the landslide, felt hopeless, and felt no longer afford to buy the goods that have been lost. So also with their physical condition, many of those who disturbed his physical condition, insomnia, decreased appetite, and their durability is weak, resulting in disease attacking easily.

Abstract

Lately that already found a variety of problems of teenagers which indicates the inability of adolescents in acclimated and fragile their emotional life. The succession of each person in adaptability is influenced by either good or not that the emotional that they have. This research was use quantitative research with using the form of correlation research. The population of the research was the students of 20 Junior High School Students in Padang with the amounted of the participants are 835 students while the sample amounted to 91 people. Sampling technique that used is stratified random sampling. The data used to analyze is product moment correlation formula of coefficient karl person and then compare it with the table of values of r product moment. The results showed that the students of 20 Junior High School students have a good emotional intelligence as well as their adjustment itself too. While the results regarding the relationship of self adjustment with emotional intelligence obtained rhitung of 0,739 > of rtabel is 0,235 of df 70 with the significant level of 5%. The result of the research was the relationship of emotional intelligence with the adaptability of the students that shows high level of significant.

Abstract

The problem in this study is: What is the profile assignment elderly development in Tambun Jorong Ijuk Koto Tangah Stone Marijuana District Akabiluru District Fifty Cities. This study aimed to describe: 1) seniors developmental task of adjusting to decreasing physical strength and health 2) seniors developmental task of adjusting to the death of a spouse. This research is a descriptive study describes a real situation. The populations are 36 people. Sampling in this study uses total sampling technique because when the subject is less than a hundred, better grab all the samples. Data collection tool used was a questionnaire, while the technique analyzed using percentages. The results obtained showed that the task of development of seniors in adjusting to decreasing physical strength and health are at the unfavorable category as much as 36.11% and seniors developmental task of adjusting to the death of a spouse is in the unfavorable category as much as 41.66%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the profile of the development tasks can be categorized as poor seniors. Recommended for seniors to be able to add insight or knowledge about the developmental tasks that must be accomplished when entering old age and to the families of seniors in order to pay attention to the needs of seniors are required to achieve development tasks.

Abstract

These  research     initiation and  background    by  implementation  service  on channel and placement with counselor in developing  selves  extracurricular action at  Senior High School  Negeri 12  Padang, these  research is  purposed  for  description  been doing by counselor at   Senior High School   Negeri 12 Padang. These  research   is purposed  for  seeing    how   is   assignment   service program  on channel and placement  extracurricular action  at  Senior  High School  Negeri  12 Padang, with   lay out research  that is  (1)  Assignment and planning   service program   on channel and placement by doing counselor extracurricular  action. (2)  Implementation   service program on channel and placement extracurricular action.  (3) Evaluation/Assessment. These research face off research qualitative, the research consist of all informant counselor at Senior High School Negeri 12 Padang.  The collecting data by doing   with   document and questioner upon   implementation   on channel and placement service by counselor extracurricular action. The  resulting   research  have  found  out  that is 1)  assignment and  planning   service  program   on channel and placement  extracurricular action  have   implemented  with  good category, 2) Implementation   service program  on channel and  placement  extracurricular act   have implemented   with good category, 3) Evaluation/assessment  of  implementation  service program  on channel and  placement  extracurricular act  into  good category.

Abstract

Social relationship is a relationship between people who need each other. Phenomena that occur in students related to social relationships is having problems students misunderstandings when it comes, it often happens that is not related to the social good. Group counseling services are in guidance and counseling services that can be used to improve the learners social relationships. By conducting group counseling services, students will be given the understanding and practice. This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of group counseling services in improving learners social relationships. This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of group counseling services in improving learners social relationships. This type of research is experimental with pretest and posttest design was used to test whether group counseling services can improve learners social relationships . Two groups are selected using purposive sampling is in class X SMK N 2 Island Arbor . Each group consisted of 11 students. Group counseling services with the application of the experimental group while the control group did not apply group counseling services . Collected data on social relationships statistical method of Pearson Product Moment using excel program. The findings of this study are: There are significant differences between the social relationships that learners control group was not given guidance services group with social relationships learners experimental group given group counseling services.

Abstract

Family is the main principle in forming children’s act. Walking on their live, children need their parents support like parenting and support to a better live. In this case, to form well students’ self adjustment in school, it is also need well parenting of parents at home. Because of that, this research was conducted to discover how the parents’ parenting was able to build up students’ self adjustment. This research was designed by descriptive correlation. The population was students of XI class in Senior High School 16 Padang. The sampling was taken by using random sampling, which the total number of sampling was 70 students. The instrument of the research was questionnaire. To analyze the data, the researcher used pattern of product moment correlation coefficient, which issued by Karl Pearson, in form of windows release 17.0 program, called statistical product and service solution. Generally, the result of research showed that there was a significant relationship between parents’ parenting with students’ self adjustment in school. Thus, as the conclusion, it can be said that the parents’ parenting and students’ self adjustment were on powerful level of significance
