Abstract

This research is motivated by the number of visitors who visit the Air Manis Beach Padang that is not stable. Visible in 2014 until 2015 has decreased drastically, in 2015 until 2016 again experienced an increase in the number of visitors is very drastic. This study aims to determine the influence of tourist attraction to the decision to visit the attractions of Air Manis Beach Padang. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive research with causal associative method. The population of this study is the visitors who have visited the Air Manis Beach Padang. Sampling technique is non probability sampling, by using purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study amounted to 96 people. Data collection technique is done by using questionnaire (questionnaire) with Likert scale that has been tested the validity and reliability. Further data is analyzed through descriptive analysis and correlation with the help of SPSS program version 16.00. The results of this study indicate that visitor ratings of tourist attraction in Air Manis Beach Padang including good category with the percentage of 73%, while for visiting decisions including good category with a percentage of 53.1%. There is influence between tourist attraction to visit decision 21,7% with significance value 0,000, there is strong and positive influence and significant between tourist attraction with decision of visiting at Air Manis Beach Padang.Keywords: tourist attraction, visiting decision.

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of service quality toward guest satisfaction at Alahan Panjang Resort Kabupaten Solok. This research of two variables i.e service quaity and guest satisfaction. Type of this research is quantitative descriptive with causal assosiatif method. The number of samples in this research amounted to 56 people. The technique of sampling with purposive sample. Analysis technique with a simple regression test. Based on the research that has been done then the obtained results : (1) the service quality is not good category (55.36%), (2) guest satisfaction are not satisfied category (44.64%), (3) hypothesis test result of simple linear regression obtained f countdown with sig. 0,000 < 0,05, then the service quality variables can explain the guest satisfaction significantly with the R Square of 0,372 that is where there is the influence of service quaity toward guest satisfaction of 33,5%. Abstract

This research aimed to describe the management (planning, organizing, directing, and supervising) of tourist attractions at Arta Indah Beach which includes: (a) children game facilities, (b) water recreation facilities and (c) fishing leisure facilities. This type of research is descriptive qualitative data. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. Technique of collecting data is done by using observation method, interview, and documentation that involve, that is: management of tourist object and society around tourist object. Qualitative data analysis techniques covering three activities: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the research results found some things related to the management of tourist attraction facilities in Arta Indah Beach are: 1) the management of children's game facilities from the organizing is good, the supervision has been, but the children's game plan planning which includes game buayan Kaliang and game throwing bracelet still less . The planning of child play facilities organized by managers is still general and not too detailed. Planning of children game facilities at Arta Indah Beach Tourism Objects exist, only for sustainability and yet leads to the development of attraction facilities in tourism object, 2) management of water recreation facility that is good organizing benen rent, guidance already, but supervision of water recreation facility that is leasing Benen is still not good. The supervision of the benen rental facility at Arta Indah Beach is only the general standards, to measure the achievement of the objectives set in the rental facility of the benen; 3) the management of fishing facilities ie the boat facility of the planning is good, the guidance already exists, but for the organizational structure and The division of duties from the management of the canoe facilities does not exist, just waiting for the instructions from the Management Board.Keywords: Management, Facilities, Tourist Attractions

Abstract

The purpose of research is to know and revealed how motivation work andemployee performanceAnd the influence of Work Motivation on EmployeePerformance of operational departement, This research is quantitative descriptiveresearch with causal associative method. Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential of fun tubing attraction in the area of the tourist attractionweir Anai Korong Sakayan Nagari Pasielaweh district Padang Pariaman with an indicator of natural resources, location, culture, and entertainment seen from the scenery an water in natural resources, location and area of the location, washing and bathing in culture, experience and games from entertaiment. This research is a qualitative descriptive reseach with qualitative method. Data collection techigue is done by, interview method, observasi, documentation involving informant by using purposive sampling technique. the The results of the study note that potential of fun tubing attractions can be: 1) natural resources have the potensial of natural secenery is still natural example of hills and paddy fields. constraints that often experienced in fun tubing tourist attraction is the unstable water disharge. 2) The location of fun tubing tourist attraction area of anai Korong Sakayan Nagari Pasielaweh district Padang Pariaman. the location of this fun tubing tourist attractions in very strategis because it is close together to other tourist attraction. 3) cultural life of the local community still utilize the natural values that exist in the river such as rocks and sand but it also utilizes other natural resources that exist. 4) the excitement of playing water by following the flow of the flowing river and test adrenaline of the tourists who play fun tubing.keywords: potential, attractions, tours, tourist attraction, fun tubing

Abstract

The purpose of research is to know the standard business restaurant imp-lementation in the area of attractions Gandoriah Pariaman Beach.This research consists of two indicators are: product and service. This type of research is descriptive research using kualitatif data and kuantitatif data. Determination the research with the informant of purposive sampling is 7 restaurant owner.Data collection through interview, documentation and observation.Technic analysis data with reduction data, presentation data and conclusion.Based on the results of the study concluded that in general thestandard effort restaurant implementation about product in the form of spacious room of appropriate seating capacity, sufficient lighting and air circulation, food has been available, a clear sign is already applied. Food storage according hygiene sanitation applied 57,14%, restroom are clean and well maintained 14,28%, tables, chair and tableware according hygiene applied 57,14%, list menu accompanied price applied 57,14%. For service, serving meals are served by employees, payment is made by direct payment with respect to paying visitors and handling guest complaint by way of explaining to guest.Key Word: Implementation, Business Standar Restaurant1Prodi D4

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine facility development strategythat has indicators main tourism facility, supplementing tourism facility, andsupporting tourism facility that are viewed from internal factors form strengthsand weaknesses and external factors form opportunities and threats. This researchis a descriptive research with qualitative data. Data collection technique is done byinterview, observation, and documentation which involves informant by usingpurposive sampling technique and snow-ball sampling technique. Abstract

The research started from observation and experience of researcher whiledoing activity of industrial field experience at Tourism Office of West SumateraProvince, that there is descreasing performance to employee discipline in work.The purpose of research is to see how big the influence of variable discipline (X)to Employee Performance (Y) in the Tourism Office of West Sumatra Province.The sample of the in this research were 42 people taken using the technique ofsampling proportionate stratified random sampling. The data collection was donewith the questionnaire using scale likert that they are highly capable validity andreliability. This research result indicates that : (1) The discipline in the categorysufficient (45%), (2) The Employee Performance is at category sufficient (60%)(3) The discipline affect Employee Performance of 64,9 % and 35,1% influencedby other factors. Then obtained regression coefficient value of 0.880 with a valueof t arithmetic 8.608 on sig. 0,000 ≤ 0.05. This means that each increase of 1 unitdiscipline will increase 0.880 units of employee performance.

Abstract

This research started from the results of pre-research observations ofemployees of New d'Dhave Hotel Padang who complained about their leaders. Thisstudy aims to analyze the Effect of Manager Leadership on Job SatisfactionEmployees at New d'Dhave Hotel Padang. The type of this research is descriptivequantitative with causal assosiative method. The number of samples in this studyamounted to 30 people taken using the technique of saturated sampling. Datacollection technique is done by questionnaire by using Likert scale that has beentested the validity and reliability. Based on the research that has been done thenobtained the results of simple linear regression hypothesis test obtained a constantvalue (a) of 71,831, this figure has meaning if there is no managerial leadership (X)then the value of consistent job satisfaction (Y) is 71.831. Then obtained the value ofregression coefficient (b) of -0.420, this figure means that every increase of 1 unit ofmanagerial leadership (X), then job satisfaction (Y) will decrease by -0.420. thenobtained R square equal to 0,137, namely an effect of 13,7%.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to determine the college student’s perceptions about the quality of service cafeteria FT UNP. This research consists of five indicators are: reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and  tangibles. This type of research is descriptive research using survey method. Population in this research amounted to 7233 people. Sampling technique is non probability sampling, using insidental sampling. Sample number in this research amounted to 100 people. Data collection using a questionnaire based on a Likert scale that tested for validity and reliability.  Based on the results of the study concluded that in general the college students’perceptions about quality of service cafeteria FT UNP by 8% of respondents expressed very well, 62% of respondents said good, 21% of respondents said sufficiently, and 9% of respondents said less.
