Abstract

The pusposes of research to find out learning result using cooperative learning model of type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) with scientific approach learning model of type Problem Based Learning (PBL), specially on Basic electricity and electronics Subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Sumbar. This is probably because in the learning process students are less active and less participate in teaching. This research is a quasi experimental study with pretest-posttest control group design. Experimental I class used cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) and Experimental II class used scientific approach learning model of Problem Based Learning (PBL). The results of study have shown that average of the experimental I class test result is 83,13 while the Experimental II class has provided the average outcome of  78,29. However, this learning shows that there is a significant effect of student’s learning outcome between the usage of cooperative learning model of typeNumbered Heads Together (NHT)rather than scientific approach learning model of type Problem Based Learning (PBL)on Basic electricity and electronics subject. The hypothesis test(t-test) shows that tc> tt( 2.12 > 2.05). Therefore,applying cooperative learning model of type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is more effective than scientific approach learning model of type Problem Based Learning (PBL) .Keywords: Numbered Heads Together, Problem Based Learning, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low average student learning outcomes in the Elementary Electrical and Electronics subjects is under the completeness of Learning (KB) which has been established SMK Negeri 1 Kinali is 75. This study aims to determine the influence of cooperative learning model type Assisted Team Individualization with Problem Based Learning learning model on learning outcomes in Electrical and Electronics Elementary subjects of X class students majoring in audio video engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Kinali. This type of research is an experimental research with Post-Test Design Only Group Design. The research sample is class X TAV.1 as experiment class using Team Assisted Individualization and class X TAV.2 model as control class using Problem Based Learning model. Technique of collecting data from post-test every meeting in experiment class and control class, then analyzed for homogeneity test, normality test and hypothesis test. From the experimental class research results obtained an average value of 83.57, while the control class get an average value of 76.67. The result of hypothesis calculation at significant level α = 0,05 got tcount> ttable that is 6,24> 1,674, because big tcount of ttable, null hypothesis (H0) rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted. Can be concluded means at the real level, this study shows that, there is influence of positive learning outcomes between the use of cooperative learning model type Assisted Individualization Team with the model of Problem Based Learning in Electrical and Electronics Elementary students X class students majoring in audio video engineering at SMK Country 1 Kinali. So the results of student learning Team Assisted Individualization better in comparison with the results of student learning Problem Based Learning.. Keywords: Team Assisted Individualization, Problem Based Learning, Post-Test Only Group Design, Learning Outcomes, Experiments, Controls.

Abstract

        The problem in this study is the low average learning outcomes of learners on the subjects of Electrical Engineering is under the Learning Completeness (KB) which has been established SMKN 5 Padang is 75. There are 48.15% 1E1, 61.29 1E2 and 65.62% 1E3. This study aims to determine the comparative application of cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share and Problem Based Learning on student learning outcomes on the subjects Electrical Engineering class X Audio Video Technique at SMKN 5 Padang. The type of this research is experimental design with intact grup comparison design. The sample of this research is 1E1 A class as experiment class I using Think Pair Share and class 1E3 B as experiment class II using Problem Based Learning model. Data collection techniques were obtained from post-test in experimental class I and II, than analyzed for homogeneity test, normality test and hypothesis test. This research results the average value of students using cooperative learning model Think Pair Share type (80,27) is higher then using Problem Based Learning model that is (74,13). The result of hypotehesis calculation at significant level α = 0,05, obtained t count > t table that is 2,580> 2,045, because tcount is bigger than ttable, hil n hypothesis (Ho) rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted.  Keywords: Think Pair Share model, Problem Based Learning model, Experimental, Learning Outcomes,  Experiments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare students learning outcomes between using jigsaw cooperative models with conventional learning on electronics basic subject in students class X of SMK Negeri 2 Solok . this research is experimental research that aims to reveal differences in students learning outcomes using cooperative learning jigsaw ( X1 ) and Conventional Learning ( X2) on students learning outcomes ( Y ) . The population is 61 person tenth grade students enrolled TAV SMF SMK 2 TP.2013/2014. The results of the research analysis , student learning outcomes in the experimental group using the model of cooperative jigsaw have an average score ( 79.47 ) higher  than students learning outcomes in control group using conventional methods have an average score ( 68.27 ) , where the learning outcomes of students in experimental class had above the average standard of completeness . While the t - test is 4.09. Thus, the previous alternative hypothesis can be accepted at 95 % of significant level. There is a significant difference in students learning outcomes between the use of cooperative learning model jigsaw with conventional models in electronics basic subject of  stuydents grade X in SMKN 2 Solok Keywords : differences , jigsaw , conventional , learning outcomes

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low average learning outcomes of learners in the subjects of Digital Simulation is under Minimum Criteria of completeness (KKM) which has been established SMKN 2 Mount Talang is 75. This study aims to determine the influence of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together with direct learning model on student learning outcomes in Digital Simulation subjects students Audio Video Engineering at SMKN 2 Mount Talang. The type of this research is experimental research with the design of quasy-experiment with Posttest-Only Control Design design. The research sample is class X TAV 2 as experiment class using cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together and class X TAV 1 as control class using direct learning model. Data collection techniques from post-test in the experimental class and control class, then analyzed for homogeneity test, normality test and hypothesis test. From the experimental class research results obtained an average value of 81.15, while the control class get an average value of 76.50. Result of hypothesis calculation at significant level α = 0,05 got titung> ttable that is 3.05> 2.02, because big tcount of ttable, null hypothesis (H0) rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted. Can be concluded mean at the real level, this research show that, there is influence of student learning result which signifikan between use of model of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together with direct instruction model on Digital Simulation subject of class X student Audio Video Technique at SMKN 2 Gunung Talang.
