Abstract

Abstract. Drilling is an important activity in the mining industry where by making a hole perpendicular or tilted from the ground to a predetermined depth. Drilling carried out by PT. ANTAM Tbk. UBPN SULTRA is a production drilling carried out to obtain ore samples or samples that are available to determine the amount of ore content and thickness at that location, this drilling is known as inpit drilling. Inpit drilling is carried out in areas that have been developed. Effectiveness and efficiency of inpit drilling activities during operations are needed to obtain optimal results in drilling activities. The condition of the equipment as well as the working time needed for the drilling activity flow is a very big influence on the productivity of inpit drilling. From processing data in drill holes 9N2/TB.19005, 9N2/TB.19001, 9N2/ TB.19002 and 9N2/TB.19004 the drilling effectiveness was 98.31%, 96.76, 97.66% and 98.44%. Drilling productivity was 8.93 m/hr, 7.06 m / hr, 6.01 m / hr and 5.76 m / hr, respectively. Abstract

PT. Bina Bara Sejahtera targets overburden demolition of 175.000 bcm/month, but all that has not been achieved. Efforts to achieve the production target of overburden from the work of mechanical devices is to calculate the actual work efficiency and increase the efficiency of mechanical work. Actual work efficiency Komatsu PC300 Excavators that work on fleet 1 53,91%, fleet 2 52,22%, fleet 3 50,53% and fleet 4 51,47%, Volvo BMA35C ADT on fleet 1 55,15%, fleet 2 50,81%, fleet 3 50,36% and fleet 4 is 52,08%. Work efficiency after increasing efficiency Komatsu PC300 Excavators that work on fleet 1 67,97%, fleet 2 67,22, fleet 3 64,47% and fleet 4 66,47%. Volvo BMA35C ADT on fleet 1 74,91%, fleet 2 67,22%, fleet 3 64,47% and fleet 4 66,47%. Actual production on the dismantling of fleet 1 overburden 28.944.24 bcm/month, fleet 2 28.449.67 bcm/month, fleet 3 22.955.50 bcm/month and fleet 4 36.844.61 bcm/month, after increasing work efficiency dismantling fleet overburden 1 53.402 bcm/month, fleet 2 52.168.92 bcm/month, fleet 3 40.365,49 bcm/month and fleet 4 60.548.61 bcm/month. Abstract

Abstract. PT. Antam Tbk. Southeast Sulawesi UBPN is a state-owned enterprise engaged in the mining and nickel ore processing sector which has an IUP area located in Pomalaa District, Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The mining front area consists of 4 regions, namely the northern mine, the central mine, the southern mine, and Maniang Island with a mining area of 6324 hectares. The mining method applied by PT. Antam Tbk. Southeast Sulawesi UBPN is openpit and open cast.Based on guidance from supervisors, Everest Pit is the biggest Pit compared to Pit Wrangler and Pit Rubicon. Sampling is carried out after high rainfall. At each Mining Front, runoff water is very influential on mining activities. Which if not done earlier prevention, will result in all mining activities stopped.After an analysis of the Bukit Everest Pit discharge, the discharge value obtained in each of the catchment areas, namely DTH 1 with value of 11.32, DTH 2 was 4.31 m³ / sec and DTH 3 was 1.50 m³ / sec.Key Word : Catchmen area, open pit, open cast, pit

Abstract

Abstract. Coal quality control is an activity in controlling coal quality, because during the mining process until it reaches the buyer, there is a decline in coal quality. The coal mining activity was carried out in the west block at the East Pit of PT Kuansing Inti Makmur. This study was conducted to determine changes in coal quality, determine what factors cause changes in coal quality, and efforts in handling changes in coal quality with parameter values used, namely total water content (TM), ash content (Ash), and calorific value (GCV arb). Based on the results of the analysis of coal quality, there are changes when coal is transported to the stockpile from the front coal getting with the highest quality change, namely at seam 300 CR3 (TM = 4.06%, ASH = 0.23%, GCV = -303 Kcal/Kg ) and seam 300 LOWER (TM = 1.70%, ASH = 0.82%, GCV = -174 Kcal/Kg). And the results of the analysis of changes in coal quality when transported from the stockpile to the buyer there are changes when the coal arrives at the buyer with a change value of TM = 1.64%, ASH = 0.32%, GCV = -92 Kcal/Kg.

Abstract

Abstract:  PKM Training on the Use of GPS (Global Positioning System) as Knowledge in Mapping Earthquake Disaster Mitigation for Teachers of SMA N 2 and SMA N 3 Padang aims to provide skills training on the use of GPS in mapping earthquake disaster mitigation. Problem solving is done through several stages, namely observation, provision of material, training in the use of GPS, making 2-dimensional contour maps and 3-dimensional models that are ultimately used as learning media for mapping and surveying. Based on the results of preliminary observations there has never been a training or course for teachers in SMA N 2 and SMA N 3 Padang relating to mapping and surveying, the unavailability of GPS labsheets and GPS programs, operating instructions and GPS software. Not many teaching aids and other media are found in learning, so it will greatly affect the success and completeness of learning. Teachers will find it difficult to exclude material without being supported by adequate references and learning media. In learning, media is still used as is, such as the use of analog maps and mapping techniques are still manual. Teachers are still lacking in understanding GPS, both in substantial and practical skills, due to the limited skills and infrastructure they have. Departing from these limitations, training in the use of GPS for mapping digital earthquake disaster mitigation needs to be held which is expected to later be able to better understand material about mapping with extraterrestrial measurements and be used as digital media in the learning process in the globalization and informative era.  Keyword : GPS, labsheet, digital media, earthquake

Abstract. PT. Atoz Nusantara Mining implements an open pit mining system and is currently conducting exploration activities.The current condition of PT. Atoz Nusantara Mining is currently doing land acquisition for what is used as a mining area.To find out in detail the subsurface conditions, the company carries out well logging activities. So hopefully the series of detailed exploration activities can facilitate the company in taking further steps or actions. After the company conducted detailed exploration activities, the company had not yet processed the data to determine the amount of coal resources, volume value, and tonnage in the Pit I area of PT. Atoz Nusantara Mining.With the data above, it will be easier to conduct coal resource calculation activities. To reduce the amount of geological risk, it is necessary to calculate the mature coal resources in analyzing how the subsurface conditions in order to determine the shape, size and dimensions of coal. Resource calculation plays an important role in determining the quantity, quality and ease of commercial exploration of a deposit. Abstract

The steps of the mining activities in PT. Aman Putra Toebillah includes the activities of land clearing, stripping the ground cover, the exploitation of coal, transporting, processing and marketing of coal. After the mining is finished, the ex of mining area will leave an opening hole. Therefore any company of mine obligatory to implement reclamation of ex mining area to maintain environmental sustainability. Based on Ministerial Regulation Number 7 Year 2014, reclamation are activities during of mining to organize, restore, and improve the quality of the environment and the ecosystem to the function. Therefore, it takes a good planning, so the rate reclamation success can be realized.Mining avtivities include the arrangement of land reclamation. The Inpit Dump will be covered with land cover. Then on the top layer is covered with top soil as a medium growing plants. After the arrangement is finished then the Inpit Dump will be replanting (revegetation). To prevent the erosion, we made waterways, do care and give limes to settling pond to prevent the formation of acid mine water.Based on calculations of planning reclamation and revegetation, direct costs for reclamation activities and revegetation on the Pit D1 PT. Aman Toebillah Putra amount to Rp RP 14.104.226.892,00 and indirect costs amount to Rp 1.339.901.555,00. Then the total cost of reclamation and revegetation on the site amount to Rp 15.444.128.447,00.

Abstract

Mining is an activity that starts from the general investigation activities of minerals and coal. Mineral and coal mining activities in open space in the form of excavation and stockpiling will always face the problems of slope stability. Slope stability is a vital factor in the planning and operation of open pit and quarry mines. The occurrence of landslide in cross section of C-C' pit of Tambang Air Laya Barat of PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk. causes this analysis to be done.This research is applied research with quantitative method. Slope stability analysis is assisted by Geostudio 2018 Slope/W trial licence 30 days version. The analysis of safety factor was done by Janbu Method. The data used are secondary data consisting of physical and mechanical parameter data of soil and rock, data of type and condition of soil and rock layout, design of mining pit plan, cross section of pit mining data, and data value of regional seismic constant.The results showed that the lowest actual value of slope safety factor was in the overall slope of low wall elevation +65 to -21 ie 0.966. Based on the analysis of data confidence increase, the overall slope on low wall is in unsafe condition, that is, single slope +57 to +13 with FK = 1.165, intermediate slope +65 to +14 with FK = 1.030, and overall slope of elevation +65 to -21 with value FK = 0.812 (FK <1.25). Based on back analysis, safety factor of single slope of +57 to +13 is 0.902, safety factor of intermediate slope is 0.747, safety factor of overall slope is 0.736. The most optimal of slope redesign recommendation is the forward-analysis method of the back-end analysis by the Hoek & Bray method. The slope recommendation is to change the geometry of the slope with the angle 19o to 11o and change the height from 85m to 76m. The single slope of the elevation +57 to +13 initially made only one single slope converted into three single slopes with each elevation +55 to +42, +42 to +29, +29 to +13.Keyword: slope stability analysis, safety factor, confidence level

Abstract

Batubara merupakan salah satu sumber energi yang sangat potensial dalampemanfaatannya. Batubara banyak dimanfaatkan untuk berbagai keperluanproduksi mulai dari industri kecil hingga besar dan sebagian besar batubara diIndonesia telah diekspor hampir ke seluruh dunia antara lain ke negara-negaraAsia dan Eropa. Salah satu tambang batubara yang ada di Indonesia yaitu PTBukit Asam (Persero) Tbk.Proses produksi batubara PT Bukit Asam tepatnya pada Pit 1 Banko Baratmenggunakan alat gali muat excavator Komatsu PC 400 LC serta alat angkutdump truck Scania P360 dengan tujuan untuk dapat meningkatkan hasil produksiyang maksimal secara konsisten, tetapi kondisi aktual dilapangan tidaktercapainya target produksi yang telah ditetapkan setiap bulannya karenadisebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti manusia, lingkungan, peralatan, dansistem, dengan demikian perlu dilakukannya peningkatan produksi denganmelakukan perbaikan terhadap beberapa faktor tersebut. Salah satu metoda yangbisa digunakan adalah metoda Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).Overall Equipment Effectiveness adalah metoda pengukuran efektivitaspenggunaan suatu peralatan. OEE dikenal sebagai salah satu aplikasi programtotal productive maintenance kemampuan mengidentifikasi secara jelas akarpermasalahan dan faktor penyebabnya sehingga membuat usaha perbaikanmenjadi terfokus merupakan faktor utama metode ini. Metode ini diaplikasikansecara menyeluruh oleh banyak perusahaan di dunia. Pada penelitian kali iniperhitungan yang dilakukan adalah menghitung produktivitas tanpa metoda OEEselanjutnya dengan metoda OEE. Objek penelitian adalah alat gali muat excavatorKomatsu PC 400 LC dan alat angkut dump truck Scania P360. Dari hasilperhitungan diperoleh nilai OEE masing-masing peralatan masih < 85% belummencapai nilai OEE kelas dunia >85%, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keadaanperalatan kurang baik. Sebaiknya dilakukan perbaikan terhadap waktu standbydan breakdown alat.
