Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari pengamatan peneliti terhadap kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi pada pertambangan emas rakyat di Kabupaten Sijunjung. Tingkat kecelakaan kerja yang tinggi merupakan suatu permasalahan yang harus diselesaikan. Selain itu, pertambangan rakyat juga menyisakan beberapa permasalahan antara lain masih tingginya tingkat kekeruhan sungai akibat pertambangan emas rakyat, masih banyaknya penambangan yang tidak sesuai dengan aturan perizinan pertambangan dan lahan pascatambang yang tidak reklamasi. Pengetahuan penambangan tentang keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja menjadi faktor yang mengurangi kecelakaan kerja, dapat diartikan bahwa pengetahuan pekerja tambang merupakan bagian penting bagi para pekerja sebagai bentuk tanggapan terhadap keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan masing-masing pekerja tersebut. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran tentang kegiatan pertambangan emas rakyat dan bagaimana pengaruh antara pengetahuan pekerja tambang tentang keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja dengan frekuensi kecelakaan kerja pada penambangan emas rakyat di Kenagarian Palangki Kecamatan IV Nagari Kabupaten Sijunjung. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan “terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variable X1, X2 dan X3 secara bersama-sama terhadap Variabel Y”. Variabel yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi variabel Y secara parsial adalah variabel X1 yaitu pengetahuan umum pekerja tambang tentang keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja. Artinya semakin baik tingkat pengetahuan pekerja tambang tentang keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja maka semakin rendah frekuensi kecelakaan kerja

Abstract

Abstract:  PKM Training on the Use of GPS (Global Positioning System) as Knowledge in Mapping Earthquake Disaster Mitigation for Teachers of SMA N 2 and SMA N 3 Padang aims to provide skills training on the use of GPS in mapping earthquake disaster mitigation. Problem solving is done through several stages, namely observation, provision of material, training in the use of GPS, making 2-dimensional contour maps and 3-dimensional models that are ultimately used as learning media for mapping and surveying. Based on the results of preliminary observations there has never been a training or course for teachers in SMA N 2 and SMA N 3 Padang relating to mapping and surveying, the unavailability of GPS labsheets and GPS programs, operating instructions and GPS software. Not many teaching aids and other media are found in learning, so it will greatly affect the success and completeness of learning. Teachers will find it difficult to exclude material without being supported by adequate references and learning media. In learning, media is still used as is, such as the use of analog maps and mapping techniques are still manual. Teachers are still lacking in understanding GPS, both in substantial and practical skills, due to the limited skills and infrastructure they have. Departing from these limitations, training in the use of GPS for mapping digital earthquake disaster mitigation needs to be held which is expected to later be able to better understand material about mapping with extraterrestrial measurements and be used as digital media in the learning process in the globalization and informative era.  Keyword : GPS, labsheet, digital media, earthquake

Abstract

PT. Baturona Adimulya is a coal mining company located in West Supat Village, Babat Supat District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. PT. Baturona Adimulya has a Mining Mine with an area of ± 3,476 ha that has not been functioned. Current land conditions have elevation of 11 meters with slope ± 12% so that on the slope of the land, when the summer causes dust and rainy season cause erosion. The company plans to reclaim the former mine land. However, in the Mining Closure Plan document, it is mentioned that on this land the new planting plan takes into account the planting of pioneer plants (budding plant) ie sengon, while for planting of nucleus reclamation plants has not been determined between oil palm or rubber. Therefore, in the reclamation effort on ex-mining land, it is necessary to make good planning with planting of plants in accordance with the characteristics of the land. The technical planning of reclamation activities starts from knowing the characteristics of the soil, the arrangement of the land by leveling the condition of the embankment, then repairing the slope by making terracing, cover crop covering. Furthermore, the revegetation process starts from pengajiran, excavation planting hole, planting, and maintenance (2 years after the seed planting). Based on the results of laboratory testing, the characteristics of ex-mining land are suitable for planting rubber or oil palm plantations. Based on the calculation in the reclamation planning of ex-mining land by revegetation, the total cost is Rp. 507.372.156.00 for oil palm with sengon laut, and Rp. 505.052.919,00 for rubber with marine sengon.Keywords: ex-Mining Land, Reclamation Plan, Revegetation, Cost, Mining Closer

Abstract

Abstract. Combustion of coal has high sulphur content causes environmental pollution, damage(corrosive) and shortens the life of industrial plant equipment. Combustion of has high sulphurcontent produces Sulfur dioxide (SO2) which can disrupt humanlife, such as causing tightness inthe respiratory tract, causing acid rain and corrosion on plant equipment. So that coal can beused as fuel then desulfurization process is carried out first. Desulfurization of coal is needed notonly to minimize environmental pollution caused by emissions of Sulphur dioxide duringcombustion, but also to improve the quality of coal. Desulfurization of coal is a process ofreducing sulphur content from coal. The desulfurization process in this research uses a chemicalmethod with Hydrochloric acid (HCl) solvent. Coal that will be desulfurized is coal from flemmingseam produced by PT. Nusa Alam Lestari Site Sinamar, Dharmasraya Regency, West SumateraProvince. Flemming seam has a thickness of up to 1,2 meters. This layer has calorific valuesbetween 5100 – 5500 kcal/kg. This coal is lignite with an average sulphur content of 1,5 – 2,2%.This coal is treated by modifying the concentration of Hydrochoric acid (HCl), which is 0,4 M, 0,6M, 0,8 M, 1 M, and 1,2 M. After leaching the coal, the next process is to test sulphur content withsulfur analyzer. Of all variations in the concentration of Hydrochloric acid (HCl), the optimumconcentration is obtained, HCl 0,8 M which can reduce sulphur levels to 0,59%.Keywords: desulfurization, coal, sulphur, Hydrochloric acid, combustion.

Abstract

Abstract. PT Semen Padang is a limestone mining company located in Bukit Karang Putih, Padang City, West Sumatra Province, which has a Front IV mining area located in the Indarung VI mining area. In the area there are ex-mining areas (areas A, B and C) covering an area of 3 hectares which have been reclaimed but are not well-organized, located west of Crusher VI. Many relatively steep cliffs, such as in area A with a slope of 42 ° - 61º, area B with a slope of 45° and area C with a slope of 58º. This situation has the potential for landslides and causes danger in the Mobile Crusher VI series. The level geometry in the reclamation area has 5 levels with different lengths, widths, heights and slopes, and has a single slope on the left and right. When it rains the water flow in the field if the Front IV area of 15.15 Ha leads to that area and will disrupt the production activities in Crusher VI and can cause erosion. Therefore, re-reclamation planning and design costs are needed. The reclamation plan starts from the land arrangement that starts from the upper land in the form of dredging, stockpiling and overburden material removal, as well as the formation of 10 terraces on the slope of the reclamation area with a tilted bench terrace at 3%. After that management of top soil and sub soil, planting cover crops, revegetation by planting trembesi trees, maintenance for the first 3 years, and calculating the costs that will be incurred by the company in the reclamation process. Abstract

The purpose of the health and safety program K3 in the company is to keep employees  good in work and anticipate an accident. Unsafe action and unsafe condition are the direct caused of the accident happen. It can anticipate by improve the  SMK3 management sistem.  Knowledge, attitude, and the act of employees are the factors that influence  the management system woking. Well, this research  purpose to know the K3 Management Sistem working or not.This research is could be classified as to the kind of research of correlational. The population on this research is all employees of which are at work unit and means of mining engineering PT.Bukit Asam (Persero ) Tbk, UPO that total about 22. Data collection by using a questionnaire that has been tested validity and reliabilitasnya. Furthermore, the data mixed with use a computer program spss 15.0. version.The results from this research is there are significant relationship between knowledge with the application of the K3,  between the attitude with the application of the K3, between the act of an employee with the application of the K3. It Can be concluded that from  three factors are having a  significant relation toward K3  applicate on PT .Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk, UPO, Sawahlunto, of West Sumatra. In this case, the company should be enrich the employees knowledge about K3, make a lot of guidelines about the health and safety of employment in the area by mining, and  the socialization regularly and sustainable covering all aspects.

Abstract

Coal oil mixture (COM) is one of the methods of making liquid coal fuel in addition to liquefaction and coal water fuel. Coal oil mixture (COM) is a mixed fuel with a balanced composition between coal, petroleum, and additives (Maeda, 1991: 66).In this study, the coal used is low rank coal mixed with additives and diesel. The ratio of coal: diesel: the additives used are 25%: 75%: 0% (COM A1), 25%: 74%: 1%, (COM A2) and 25%: 73%: 2% (COM A3).The results showed that the viscosity characteristics tested on COM A1, A2, A3 were closer to MDO than HFO as standard ISO 8217 2010 MDO (Marine Diesel Oil) viscosity with maximum limit of 11 cSt at 400c temperature. The calorific value of COM A1, A2, A3 is lower than MDO due to the utilization of low calorie coal in the mixture.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Allied Indo Coal is a public company that conducts coal mining activities with the type of company PKP2B (Coal Mining Concession Agreement) under contract No. J2 / Ji.Du / 25/1985 on August 21, 1985. The mining contract period is 32 years with an area of 372.40 Ha.Reclamation with revegetation activities will be carried out in some part of the stockpile area, stockpile area to be reclaimed consists of 3 blocks, block 1 has an area about 0.83 ha, the block 2 about 1.46 ha and block III about 2.91 Ha. The total area to be revegetated in the reclamation activity about 5.2 ha. Because of PT.Allied Indo Coal has a license from forestry department (IUP) to exploit a forest area a so the company has an obligation to pay the land compensation, includes PNBP fees (Non-tax State Revenues). This stockpile is one of the areas subject to the PNBP (Non-tax State Revenue) with a tariff of Rp. 3,900,000 / ha every month. So that this activity aims to reduce the burden of PNBP (Non-tax State Revenues) to the company tax.Reclamation activities include land management activities. The land is recovered with overburden at the bottom and then the upper layercovered with top soil as a growing medium for plants. After the land arrangement is complete, the cover crop will be planted. Furthermore, the revegetation process starts from irrigation, digging planting holes, planting, and maintenance.Based on calculations in reclamation planning with revegetation, the direct costs for revegetation reclamation activities in Stockpile at PT. Allied Indo Coal is IDR 804,921,900.00. and indirect costs are IDR 173,101,842.00. Abstract

PT. Andalas Nusa Indah (PT ANI) is a coal mining company located in SungaiBringin Village, Pelepat District, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province with license status ofProduction Operation Mining License (20010-2019) based on SK Bungo IUP NO. 273 /DESDM in 2010, issued by Bungo Regent with a total area of 146 Ha.PT. ANI has a disposal with an area of ± 2.56 Ha, which has no longer functioning.The disposal of the area is in arid condition which when the dry season causes dust and inthe rainy season there are puddles so that the water puddle can overflow and drain the mineroad which productivity muddle. And also Most of the disposal land has not been usedoptimally because there is overburden pile part that is too high while the available land fordisposal is still wide. The company plans to reclaim the disposal of the area. Therefore, goodreclamation planning should be made.Reclamation planning starts from the arrangement of the land, where overburdenheap that is not equal to height will be flattened so that all the height parallel, After thatmaking terracing, topsoil top soil spread as planting medium. After the land settlement iscompleted then the land will be done cover crop planting. Furthermore, the revegetationprocess starts from pengajiran, excavation planting hole, planting, and maintenance (1 yearafter the seedlings are planted).Based on calculations in the planning of reclamation disposal area by way ofrevegation, the direct cost for the activities of land smoothing up to revegetation at thedisposal area is Rp. 132.294.402 and indirect costs of Rp. 47.301.493. Then the total cost ofrevegetation is Rp.179.595.895.

Abstract

Abstract. Human resources are an important role for the success of an organization or company. Humans are living assets that need to be nurtured and developed. One of the things that should be a major concern for human resource managers is the occupational safety and health system. PT. Supreme Energy Muara Laboh is one of the geothermal companies that has been established since 11 years ago. This company is located in Muara Laboh, West Sumatra. The main problem that exists in this company is the occurrence of work accidents as many as 50 accidents experienced by employees during 2012-2015. Accidents that occur can disrupt  geothermal operational activities and endanger the safety of workers. Based on the description above, the author is interested in conducting research with the title "The Effect of Occupational Safety and Health on Employee Performance of PT. Supreme Energy Muara Laboh"Based on data processing for work safety program variables, the value of t-count is 3.388 which means that is greater than t-table which is 2.179, with a significance of 0.349 which is more than 0.05.
