Abstract

Islam sebagai sebuah agama mengandung beberapa aspek, yang salah satu aspeknya adalah pendidikan.Betapa pentingnya pendidikan bagi Islam, tergambar dengan sangat jelas di dalam Al-qur’an. Kata pendidikan di dalam Al-qur’an disebut berkali-kali dengan istilah yang berbeda, tetapi digunakan dalam konteks yang sama yaitu dalam proses pendidikan, pembelajaran atau pengajaran. Setidaknya ada tiga istilah yang digunakan Al-qur’an untuk menyebut pendidikan,  istilah itu adalah :  al-ta’lim, al-tarbiyah, al-ta’dib.Istilah al-ta’lim umumnya digunakan Al-qur’an untuk menyebut pendidikan yang dikaitkan dengan proses kegiatan mentransfer ilmu pengetahuan dari guru sebagai pendidik  kepada anak didik. Kata al-tarbiyah adalah istilah yang berkaitan dengan usaha menumbuhkan atau menggali segenap potensi fisik, psikis, bakat, minat, talenta dan berbagai kecakapan lainnya yang dimiliki manusia, atau mengaktualisasikan berbagai potensi manusia yang terpendam, kemudian mengembangkannya dengan cara merawat dan memupuknya dengan penuh kasih sayang.Sedangkan istilah al-ta’dibdigunakan dalam konteks pendidikan sebagai sarana transformasi nilai akhlak mulia yang bersumber pada ajaran agama ke dalam diri manusia, serta menjadi dasar bagi proses islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan. Dengan berdasarkan kepada tiga istilah tersebut, maka pada hakikatnya pendidikan dalam Islam bertujuan tidak hanya untuk mentransfer ilmu pengetahuan kepada anak didik, tetapi juga mengisi hati dan jiwa anak didik dengan ketundukan kepada Allah SWT dan menghiasi akhlaknya dengan budi perkerti yang mulia. Kata Kunci :Pendidikan Islam, al-ta’lim. al-ta’dib, al-tarbiyah, insan kamil

Abstract

Submission of the people to God is limited by legal formal jurisprudence which is a set of procedures for worship. Though closeness to God can only be built with the submission, obedience and spiritual dialogue with God are needed. That is commonly practiced by Sufis and also perhaps by the Jama’ah Tabligh (JT). One of the teachings in the JT concept is to develop a simple lifestyle, full of modesty, moderation, also do not like to waste. Ushulul Dakwah has clearly illustrated that view by reducing four things namely: the time to eat and drink, sleep and rest period, a mosque and a time out to speak or perform activities in vain.Keywords: Sufisme, Jama’ah Tabligh

Abstract

Islamic fundamentalism is usually identified and associated with the Islamic radicalism movement. This Islamic fundamentalism doctrine and movement have prepared students to be their successors. Lampung University as the biggest university in Lampung cannot be separated as its target. This article attempts to investigate types of fundamentalism at Lampung University; the fundamentalism development at the university; and the responses of university and faculty members towards religious activities at the. This study was a result of qualitative research applying two data sources in the words of primary data source and secondary data source. The collecting data methods were documentation and interview. The interviews were intended to lecturer, staff, university activist, and student. The documentation was held by examining the literature correlated with religious practice. The collected data were analyzed by using content analysis. The analysis was conducted through plotting the study and practice of religion, and analyzing the pattern of the study, religion practice and the contextualization of within Islamic study of Indonesia. Based on the analysis, this study concluded that the right-leaning Islamic doctrine which usually called Islamic fundamentalism turning a finger to Lampung University was not oriented on radicalism movement. This movement developed seriously Islamic education. Fundamentalism at Lampung University, not only moved to the education sector (tarbiyah) but also came into political sectors (siyasah). Unfortunately, university lets them move, because of their active roles in Islamic education for students. Nevertheless, some groups responded to their movement by initiating to create a similar student unit, namely KMNU (the Family of Nahdatul Ulama Students). However, the existence of this organization has not given significant improvements towards religious practices and discourses at Lampung University.
