Abstract

Abstract Travel analyses based on activity and location has not been well established in Indonesia yet since its complexity in the process of data collection and the needed resources. Thus, it is needed an effort to develop a method of data collection to facilitate future research. This study aims to develop a method of data collection regarding travel based activity and location with limited resources for application in Indonesia. The result of this study shows that the proposed method is able to collect the needed data using limited technology and resources. Keywords: activity based transportation, travel data collection, travel location  Abstrak Analisis perjalanan berbasis aktivitas dan lokasi belum banyak dikembangkan di Indonesia karena rumitnya proses pengumpulan data dan sumber daya yang diperlukan. Untuk itu diperlukan upaya pengembangan metode pengumpulan data agar mempermudah penelitian sejenis di masa datang. Tujuan studi ini adalah mengembangkan metode pengumpulan data perjalanan berbasis aktivitas dan lokasi dengan sumber data yang terbatas untuk dilakukan di Indonesia. Hasil dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa metode yang diusulkan dan dikembangkan melalui studi ini berhasil mengumpulkan data yang diinginkan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi dan sumber daya yang terbatas. Kata-kata kunci: transportasi berbasis aktivitas, pengumpulan data perjalanan, lokasi perjalanan

Abstract

Accessibility influences people’s chance to reach health facilities. The purposes of this study are to analyze the accessibility to reach health facilities and to compare the accessibility for different classes of health facilities in Bandung. Data regarding actual road distance to reach health facilities and the publicly available digital map are processed using ArcGis software. Analysis in this study applies ARIA method. Results show that class C hospital has the highest accessibility and class D hospital has the best distribution than other classes. The analysis also shows that there is significant difference among distributions area according to hospital classes, but there is no significant difference among distributions area according to accessibility classes. These study results in the form of accessibility map to reach hospital can be employed as a base to develop transportation development and accessibility improvement to health services in Bandung.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract Transportation is defined as movement of goods and people from point an origin to a destination. People move to a destination to meet their needs. One of the people needs is to get of education. In this study, the characteristics of trips made by students of state high schools in Bandung are studied The schools selected for this study are the school with the highest and lowest passing grades. Analysis performed shows that schools with the highest passing grade has an average transport mode cost higher than that of the schools with the lowest passing grade. Moreover, from the analysis of accessibility, it is known that the size of catchment area for the school with the highest passing grade is greater than the one of the school with the lowest passing grade. Keywords: transportation cost, student trip, transportation charateristics, accessibility  Abstrak Transportasi diartikan sebagai pemindahan barang dan manusia dari tempat asal ke tempat tujuan. Manusia berpindah ke tempat tujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya. Salah satu kebutuhan manusia adalah pelayanan pendidikan. Pada studi ini dilakukan kajian tentang karakteristik perjalanan siswa SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung. Sekolah-sekolah yang dijadikan objek studi adalah sekolah dengan kualifikasi nilai passing grade tertinggi dan nilai passing grade terendah. Analisis yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa sekolah dengan passing grade tertinggi memiliki rata-rata biaya moda yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan sekolah dengan passing grade terendah. Selain itu, dari analisis aksesibilitas, diketahui bahwa besaran catchment area untuk sekolah dengan passing grade tertinggi lebih besar dibandingkan dengan catchment area sekolah dengan passing grade terendah. Kata-kata kunci: biaya transportasi,  perjalanan siswa, karakteristik transportasi, aksesibilitas

Abstract

Abstract This study discusses the analysis of flexible pavement structures in container stacking fields. The case study of this paper is in Trisakti Port in Banjarmasin. Modelling of the pavement structure was analyzed using ELSYM5 software. The results of pavement structure modelling are also made in the form of stress bulb diagrams to illustrate vertical stress distribution in each pavement layers. From the results of pavement modelling, it appears that the further horizontal distance (either in the X-axis or Y-axis direction) from the center of load, the smaller vertical stress occurs. Likewise on the Z-axis, the deeper a point from surface layer, the smaller vertical stress there is. From the results of the analysis using ELSYM5 software, the minimum subgrade load capacity must be able to withstand 60.37 kN/m2 for 8 inches base layer and 39.31 kN/m2 for 18 inches base layer. Based on results of the analysis with 6 data sets used in this study, it can be seen that thicker base layer in pavement structure would yield lower vertical stress that occurs in the top of subgrade. Keywords: pavement structure, flexible pavement, stress bulb, subgrade, stress distribution  Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas analisis struktur perkerasan lentur di lapangan penumpukan peti kemas. Studi kasus yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Pelabuhan Trisakti di Banjarmasin. Pemodelan struktur perkerasan dianalisis dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak ELSYM5. Hasil analisis pemodelan struktur perkerasan juga dibuat dalam bentuk diagram stress bulb untuk menggambarkan distribusi tegangan vertikal yang terjadi pada berbagai kedalaman di setiap lapisan struktur perkerasan. Dari hasil analisis pemodelan struktur perkerasan, terlihat bahwa semakin jauh jarak horizontal (baik di arah sumbu-X maupun sumbu-Y) dari pusat beban, semakin kecil tegangan yang terjadi. Begitu juga pada sumbu-Z, semakin jauh kedalaman lapis perkerasan dari pusat beban, semakin kecil tegangan yang terjadi. Dari hasil analisis menggunakan perangkat lunak ELSYM5, didapat bahwa tanah dasar harus dapat menahan tegangan minimum sebesar 60,37 kN/m2 untuk lapisan base setebal 8 inci dan sebesar 39,31 kN/m2 untuk lapisan base setebal 18 inci. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan 6 datasets yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, dapat dilihat bahwa semakin tebal lapisan fondasi pada struktur perkerasan yang digunakan, semakin kecil tegangan yang terjadi pada tanah dasar. Kata-kata kunci: struktur perkerasan,  perkerasan lentur, stress bulb, tanah dasar, distribusi tegagan

Abstract

Abstract The road is a land transportation infrastructure that is generally managed by the government. Often the Right of Way of roads is also used by other parties. Utilization of road space components requires licensing from the road operator. This licensing process is often constrained by limited information about licensing and licensing submission procedures that still use conventional methods. The disadvantage of this conventional method is the long time duration needed for the licensing process and the distance that must be taken by the applicant to the place of the road operator offices. This study was conducted to design an informative, accurate, complete and up-to-date licensing system in the form of road and bridge permit licensing databases. Keywords: road, right of way of roads, licensing database  Abstrak Jalan merupakan infrastruktur transportasi darat yang umumnya dikelola pemerintah. Seringkali ruang milik jalan turut dimanfaatkan oleh pihak-pihak lain. Pemanfaatan komponen ruang milik jalan tersebut memerlukan perizinan dari penyelenggara jalan. Proses perizinan ini seringkali terkendala oleh terbatasnya informasi mengenai perizinan serta prosedur pengajuan perizinan yang masih menggunakan metode konvensional. Kelemahan metode konvensional ini adalah lamanya proses perizinan dan jarak yang harus ditempuh oleh pemohon ke tempat penyelenggara jalan yang jauh. Pada studi ini dilakukan kajian untuk merancang suatu sistem penyelenggaraan perizinan yang informatif, akurat, lengkap, dan mutakhir, berupa basis data perizinan bidang jalan dan jembatan. Kata-kata kunci: jalan, ruang milik jalan, basis data perizinan
