Abstract

GIS(Geografis Information Sistem) untuk penentuan daerah promosi sekolah, dapat menggunakan software GIS MapInfo untuk mengelola data peta dan ditunjang oleh Software Visual Basic untuk menampilkan hasil dari pengelolahan software GIS. Penentuan daerah promosi sekolah mempertimbangkan beberapa parameter. Parameter itu adalah jumlah promosi setiap daerah, jumlah pendaftar atau mahasiswa, jarak, politeknik lain di Jawa, dan IPK mahasiswa. Aplikasi GIS ini menggunakan metode analisa overlay dan pendekatan statistik. Hasil akhir dari aplikasi GIS ini memberikan rekomendasi berupa daerah promosi yang strategis dan diharapkan dapat bermamfaat bagi pengambil keputusan untuk perencanaan promosi selanjutnya. Abstract

This qualitative research was carried out in the classroom VII F of SMPN 1 Kebonagung Pacitan, on JLS Street Kebonagung Pacitan. The research was carried out at the first semester of the academic year of 2012/2013. Further, the techniques used to collect the data were: (1) observation; (2) in-dept interview; (3) recording documents; (4) and then the data were documented. The data analysis was through seven steps those were: (1) observation; (2) textualisation; (3) multicolumn text; (4) segmentization; (5) thematization; (6) proposisionalization; (7) and reduction. The units of main data were analyzed by researcher through five steps which consisted of: being analyzed, being interpreted, being summarized, being concluded, and being recommended. Based on the result on the observation in the activity of the teaching and learning speaking skill, it was obtained 112 statements of data identities. In relation with the topic, some of the statements of data identities were relevant but some others were not, the irrelevant data were not discussed in this chapter (they were reduced), while the relevant data became units of main data analyzed based on the underlying theories and the result of interviews, as well as the related documents. The results and discussions include: (1) aspects of learning done by the teachers including: methods were more atractive teacher-centered and students-centered, teaching and giving instruction, teachers stood in front, the material presented was appropiate to the topic; (2) aspect of the students, among others were enthusiastic but tended to be crowded.Key words : Teaching and Learning, Speaking Skill

Abstract

Education as an institution allows preparing human resources that have the readiness and competence in global competition. Learning program prepares learners with integrative interconnect. In addition, the program language proficiency skills and skills that are hard skills and soft skills. Therefore, strategies are needed education system and school management processes that lead to the formation of character learners. Rationally, character-based education is critical for immediate implementation, therefore, the central issue is examined in writing regarding strategy, a readiness of human resources, indicators of success, design implementation, evaluation strategies, barriers and policy components required. Abstract

Financial Performance (FP) is one of the important things for a company to know the development of the company. One important thing that influences FP is the Intellectual Capital (IC). Research was conducted to get the best IC analysis in order to get success and fulfill the daily human needs which always increases. Therefore, it had research problem ‘how was the components of IC affecting the FP of PT Kalasuba Indonesia (KSI), and the objective is to explore the IC components in affecting the FP. It was interesting to be explored because it had unique characteristics, which consist of spiritual knowledge, attitude, discipline, management knowledge and managerial experience, as well as skill and capabilities, in which the first three points were different from the rest. It used qualitative analysis method as the instrument. It was done by collecting the data through observation and was analyzed using the Robbins theory. It can be concluded that those five IC has important effect in increasing FP of PT KSI and keeping it stable.

Abstract

Pendidikan sebagai salah satu kunci kemajuan dan berkembangnya suatu negara, Oleh sebab itu, hak mendapatkan pendidikan bagi masyarakat  dan warga negara, tentu kini sudah harus dapat diterima bagi seluruh lapisan dan kalangan masyarakat. Kajian ini, akan berbicara mengenai “Hak mendapatkan Pendidikan ditinjau dari epistemologi dan aksiologi” atau dari mana dan untuk siapa kebijakan pendidikan ini dibuat. Lebih jauh lagi, kajian ini berbicara mengenai beberapa poin-poin penting seperti, Pendidikan sebagai karakter Bangsa, tinjauan epistemologi dan aksiologi tentang hak mendapatkan pendidikan, hak warga negara mendapatkan pendidikan dan kewajiban pemerintah/Negara menyelenggarakan dan menjamin pendidikan. Dalam artikel ini, penulis menggunakan metode kepustakaan (library research method) untuk memahami dan menemukan jawaban dari beberapa persoalan-persoalan yang berkaitan dengan hak mendapatkan pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi hasil observasi awal bahwa pembelajaran sejarah masih menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan pemberian tugas pada siswa. Sehingga menyebabkan siswa kurang berpartisipasi aktif atau kurang termotivasi dalam belajar sejarah. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah menerapkan media pembelajaran yang dapat membangkitkan motivasi belajar siswa, yaitu penerapan media realisme dalam pesan visual. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah diatas, peneliti mengajukan rumusan masalah dalam penelitian, yaitu Apakah ada pengaruh media realisme dalam pesan visual terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Praya Barat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018?. Dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media realisme dalam pesan visual terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Praya Barat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Penentuan subyek  dalam penelitian menggunakan metode Study Populasi dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 25 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan eksperimen dengan pola one group design. Metode pengumpulan  data menggunakan  metode  Angket sebagai metode pokok, sedangkan metode dokumentasi dan observasi sebagai metode pelengkap, metode analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik dengan rumus Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian yaitu ( 10.397> -tabel 9,488) dengan  taraf signifikansi  5% dan df=(b-1)(k-1)=(2-1)(5-1)= 4diperoleh  Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berbunyi: terdapat Pengaruh Media Realisme Dalam Pesan Visual Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII Pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Di SMP Negeri 10 Praya Barat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018, artinya hasil penelitian ini adalah “Signifikan”. Kata Kunci: Media Realisme Dalam Pesan Visual, Motivasi Belajar Siswa

Abstract

The National Examination in Indonesia, which began in 2015, was no longer a determinant of student graduation at the end of the education level. Utilization of the examination results will affect the seriousness of the students in working on it. This study aims to describe the level of seriousness of 12th grade students in working on National   Examinations, when it no longer a determinant of graduation by examining teachers and school principals’ point of view. This research is a qualitative study by using the phenomenology approach. Data was collected using focus group discussions (FGD) conducted 3 times in 3 provinces in Indonesia, consisted of Yogyakarta, South Kalimantan and East Nusa Tenggara. FGD participants were 9 high school principals, 9 vice principal of curriculum, and 54 teachers who teach subjects that are tested on national exam. In each province, three schools were selected, consisted of   two public schools, and one private school. Data were analyzed using data reduction stages, to find relationships between themes, and verification. The results showed that the motivation of 12th grade students in preparing National Examination were reduced.  They no longer focused on preparing the exams, otherwise they preparing themselves for higher education.  Furthermore, students tended to select subjects that were easier and the teacher should motivate students harder to prepare for the National Examination.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja sistem pengujian hasil belajar berbantuan komputer dalam hal proses pemilihan butir-butir tes yang tepat bagi siswa serta menilai kemampuan hasil proses pelaksanaan program pembelajaran siswa dengan bantuan komputer. Jenis penelitiannya Research and Development (R&D), yang terbagi atas pengembangan program pengujian dan penilaian berbantuan komputer serta pengujian kinerja program dalam proses pengujian kemampuan siswa SMA di DIY dan penilaian pelaksanaan program pembelajaran. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi, angket, dan pengujian dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan evaluatif. Hasil penelitian meliputi pertama, dalam pengelolaan tes, program komputer mampu melakukan pengadministrasian bank soal, pengemasan butir-butir tes secara otomatis berdasar algoritma yang diberikan, pengemasan jumlah butir tes sesuai dengan kemampuan siswa, pengacakan letak jawaban benar pada alternatif pilihan jawaban dari masing-masing butir tes, dan penyimpanan rekaman hasil tes, baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Kedua, program omputer mampu memberikan penilaian terhadap kemampuan siswa, baik dalam pengujian maupun pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran secara otomatis.

Abstract

This study aims to apply lesson studies to improve STEM-based teaching skills for teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Singkep. The application of lesson studies is expected to be useful in improving teaching skills after the implementation and culture of lesson studies among mathematics teachers. In this study, the researcher as the principal with a mathematics teacher background implemented learning through workshops as a practice of implementing and understanding teaching teachers. With STEM-based learning, it is hoped that teachers can carry out discussions in planning lessons, implement teacher learning models in teaching and be able to reflect on learning. The research used school action based on Kemmis & Taggart which consisted of 2 cycles starting with planning, acting, observing and reflecting. As research subjects are teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Singkep which consists of 28 teachers. From the results of this study, it was found that through the application of this method, (1) teachers can improve STEM-based teaching skills, (2) teachers can improve skills in making observations, and (3) teachers can increase knowledge in terms of adding insight into learning methods in class . Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that this method is effective for improving the teaching ability of STEM-based teachers, in the first cycle the teacher's average ability was 70.82 and increased to 78.88 in the second cycle, an increase of 8.06 was quite significant. And there was a significant increase in 3 mathematics teachers. Thus the principal is sought to be able to provide intensive, directed and sustainable coaching for teachers in teaching, because lessons can provide experience for teachers to always reflect on the learning that has been carried out as a reference for teachers in carrying out learning effectively and effectively in accordance with the objectives set in curriculum.
