Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies and roles of Islamic boarding schools in achieving educational programs amidst the threat of the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic. This research uses qualitative research with a case study research approach. The research was conducted at the Pesantren Border Aceh Tenggara as one of the pesantren assisted by the Aceh Province Islamic Boarding School Education Office. The results showed that the strategic management process carried out by the pesantren consisted of three interrelated processes, namely the formulation process, the implementation process (execution), and the strategic process (control). The last process is needed to provide input (feedback) for the next management process. The results of this study have implications for strategic management in pesantren management, namely: 1) the pesantren has managed to survive and strived to achieve the set academic program targets; 2) Islamic boarding schools as covid-19 prevention facilitators at the entrance to the provincial borders as a central place for health checks for immigrants who enter through the borders of Aceh province; 3) transformation of the learning system from traditional models to technology-based learning; and 4) the community is able to objectively assess educational institutions that are good in terms of management so as to allow a clear relationship between rewards and performance.

Abstract

Dalam tulisan ini akan sedikit membahas mengenai sumbangan yang diberikan ketika hajatan pernikahan. Sehingga dapat digambarkan bahwa seluruh lapisan masyarakat menganggap penting diterapkan tradisi sumbangan dalam hajatan pernikahan. Permasalahan ini akan dikaji dengan menggunakan metode penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yaitu suatu proses penelitian dan pemahaman yang berdasarkan pada metodologi yang menyelidiki suatu fenomena sosial dan masalah manusia. Mengenai tradisi sumbangan dalam hajatan pernikahan ini sudah menjadi tradisi yang sudah tertanam dalam masyarakat. Baik buruknya tradisi ini dapat dilihat sejauh mana bertahannya tradisi tersebut dan tentunya tidak bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam. Tidak dapat dipungkiri, ternyata sampai saat ini, tradisi sumbangan dalam hajatan pernikahan tersebut masih tetap bertahan dan berjalan sebagaimana mestinya. Ini menjadi bukti bahwa tradisi ini sangat baik dan harus dipertahankan, karena tradisi ini juga sama dengan tradisi tolong menolong yang telah menjadi jati diri masyarakat muslim. Dalam tradisi Islam, memang tidak disebutkan aturan yang jelas terkait pemberian sumbangan dalam acara pernikahan, akan tetapi dijelaskan tentang inti dari pelaksanaan hajatan pernikahan yang digelar sebagai wujud rasa syukur atas diadakannya acara sakral dalam kehidupan seseorang.

Abstract

Abstract: Conflict Management of Islamic Education Institutions in Indonesia: A Literature Review. Objective: This research aimed to find out solutions in managing conflict in Indonesian Islamic education institutions. In particular, Islamic educational institutions in Islamic boarding schools and madrasas have a high probability of conflict compared to other educational institutions. Methods: This research is applying qualitative research through library research. The data obtained are compiled, analyzed, and concluded so as to obtain conclusions regarding the study of literature. Findings: The results of this study indicate that conflict management becomes very important in managing conflict in Islamic educational institutions as the development of quality educational institutions. In line with this, then what becomes our main concern in addressing conflict is that conflict cannot be avoided. Conclusion: Controlling conflict is a must in order to achieve goals in Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. In addition, conflict management is a solution to balance existing conflicts.Keywords: conflict management, Islamic Education Institutions, literature review.Abstrak: Pengelolaan Konflik di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui solusi dalam mengelola konflik di lembaga pendidikan Islam Indonesia. Secara khusus, lembaga pendidikan Islam di pesantren dan madrasah memiliki probabilitas konflik yang tinggi dibandingkan dengan lembaga pendidikan lainnya. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif melalui penelitian kepustakaan. Data yang diperoleh disusun, dianalisis, dan disimpulkan sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan mengenai studi kepustakaan. Temuan: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen konflik menjadi sangat penting dalam mengelola konflik di lembaga pendidikan Islam sebagai pengembangan lembaga pendidikan yang berkualitas. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, maka yang menjadi perhatian utama kita dalam menyikapi konflik adalah konflik tidak dapat dihindari. Kesimpulan: Pengendalian konflik merupakan suatu keharusan untuk mencapai tujuan lembaga pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Abstract

This study aims to determine, understand and analyze the higher education entrepreneurship development model. The model implementation process is carried out in stages, from the strategic plan stage, implementation in higher education units to mobilizing the community to participate in entrepreneurial activities. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study conducted at the Padang State University (UNP) West Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The results show that the development model refers to the System Theory, manifested in the VALUE concept (View, appreciate, lead, understand and evaluate). The key factor as the primary capital for the implementation of the model is the milieu of the Padang community, which is thick with the entrepreneurial spirit in a spiritual, religious frame – Muslimprenur. This study implies that the VALUE concept leadership management process can produce output through Muslimpreneur-based student entrepreneurship development, ultimately increasing the value of innovation and independence for students.
