Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the application of the TPR learning method in the introduction of children's English vocabulary. This study used a descriptive quantitative research design using one experimental group. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The subjects used were 11 children conducted at the Bandar Lampung Rainbow School. The research instrument was a vocabulary test on the test sheet, observation and interview. Data analysis using percentage tables. The percentage table produces accumulated values of children conducted during 4 meetings with results as much as 54.54 percent of the children developed as expected and 45.45 percent with very good developing categories. This study proves that the method of TPR learning increases the children's English vocabulary. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat penerapan dari metode belajar TPR dalam pengenalan kosa kata Bahasa Inggris anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan satu kelompok eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Subyek yang digunakan berjumlah 11 anak yang dilakukan di Sekolah Pelangi Alexandria Bandar Lampung. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes kosa kata pada lembar tes, observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan tabel persentase. Tabel persentase menghasilkan akumulasi nilai anak yang dilakukan selama 4 kali pertemuan dengan hasil sebanyak 54,54 persen anak dengan berkembang sesuai harapan dan 45,45 persen dengan kategori berkembang sangat baik. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa metode belajar TPR meningkatkan kosa kata bahasa Inggris anak.Kata kunci: bahasa inggris, pengenalan kosa kata, total physical response

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: First, to explore the effect of leadership on employees performance. Second,  to explore the effect of organizational commitment on employees performance. Third, to explore the effect of job satisfaction on employees performance. Fourth, to explore the effect of  balance scorecard on employees performance. Fifth, to explore the effect of leadership, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and balance scorecard on employees performance. The population of this research are all employees of PT XYZ. This research uses a quantitative approach. The method of data collection is purposive sampling with 175 respondents. Data is collected using a questionnaire. The technique of data analysis used in this study was regression analysis to examine the hypotheses. The results are: (1) leadership has a significant effect on employees performance; (2) organizational commitment no significant effect on employees performance; (3) job satisfaction has a significant effect on employees performance; (4) balance scorecard has a significant effect on employees performance; (5) leadership, organizational commitment, job satisfaction and balance scorecard have a significant effect toward employees performance.
