Abstract

This research is motivated by the low writing ability of students. This study aims to improve the ability to write a narrative in grade V Durian Payung Elementary School Bandar Lampung by using a multiliterasi learning model. The research method used by the researcher is a classroom action research, with a total of 20 students. This research took place in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 actions. The techniques used in data collection are observation, tests, interviews, documentation, and field notes. The results showed that the application of a multiliterasi learning model could improve the ability to write a narrative in class V Durian Payung Elementary School in Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to identify and describe sentence structure errors, phrase structure errors and clause errors in argumentative essays. The problem was raised based on the finding of syntactic errors in the argumentation essays of class X students of SMAN 1 Adiluwih, Pringsewu Regency, for the 2020/2021 academic year. The research method uses qualitative analysis with a language error analysis approach. Collecting data using the task of writing an argumentative essay. The data of this research is an argumentative essay. The data analysis uses language error analysis with the stages: marking errors, citing errors, explaining syntactic errors, both sentence, phrase, and clause errors. The results showed that the argumentative essays of class X students of SMAN 1 Adiluwih Pringsewu for the academic year 2020/2021 were found to have syntax errors. Sentence errors in the form of unstructured, inefficient, ambiguous and ambiguous sentences, piles of ideas, not unity of ideas, and inappropriate phrases and clauses. Phrase errors in the form of misordered, non-standard phrases, redundant phrases, ambiguous, plural phrases, lacking elements, misformed. Clause errors in the form of clauses as sentences, starting with conjunctions, are inefficient, ambiguous, repeating words, not having parallel meanings, and using correlative conjunctions incorrectly.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam tesis ini berisi tentang Semiotika dalam Kumpulan Kata Mutiara Mario Teguh”. Aspek semiotika yang dikaji meliputi ikon, indeks, dan simbol. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan sistem tanda ikon, indeks, dan simbol dalam kumpulan kata mutiara Mario Teguh. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif Data dan sumber data penelitian ini adalah semiotika dalam kata-kata mutiara Maria Teguh yang dianalisis berjumlah 30 edisi tahun2017. Analisis dilakukan dengan tahapan mengapresiasikan obyek, membedah objek, menafsirkan arti tanda-tanda, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kata mutiara Mario Teguh ditinjau dari sudut pandang semiotika sangat menunjukkan kategori semiotika, meliputi: ikon, indeks, dan simbol. Dari 30 kata mutiara yang dianalisis berdasarkan semiotiknya 12 diantaranya menunjukkan semiotika kategori ikon dan 7 diantaranya menunjukkan semiotika kategori indeks. Sementara itu, terdapat 11 kata mutiara Mario Teguh yang menunjukkan semiotika kategori simbol. Pesan-pesan yang disampaikan dalam kata mutiara Mario Teguh tersebut secara umum menunjukkan tentang kerjakan mulai dari hal yang paling kecil, suskses diusia muda, jadilah orang yang pandai mencari jalan, jangan bersedih, jadilah dirimu orang yang berguna, jangan hina pasangan, tentang kesalahan besar, jaga sikap hidup, berbicara yang sopan dan santun, cintai pribadi yang tepat, ambil hikmah dari setiap masalah, jadilah orang bijak, obat terbaik adalah jatuh cinta lagi, pentingnya kasih sayang, konsekuensi sebuah doa, keutamaan niat dalam setiap tindakan, iklas akan kekuatan tuhan, bersikaplah disiplin, jangan menyesal karena cinta, dan lainnya

Abstract

This study aims to describe the evaluation of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung and the problems faced. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a survey method conducted online. Primary data collection was carried out by distributing online questionnaires to 133 respondents of Elementary School Teacher Education students who experienced the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic. In addition, supporting data with secondary data, namely documents, news, and articles related to online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The results showed that the independent learning system seemed forced so that it made students feel bored quickly. For this reason, guidance is needed to foster the process of student learning independence, namely through positive discipline. The weakness in online learning is the lack of maximum student involvement.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the values ​​of character education in a collection of convention short stories by A. Mustofa. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative method. This method is used to examine the values ​​of character education in the collection of short stories Convention by A. Mustofa Bisri. Qualitative methods pay attention to scientific data, data in relation to the context of their existence. Qualitative methods lead to data in the form of quote sentences that put forward words or sentences rather than numbers. Based on the results of the research that has been described regarding Character Education Values ​​in A. Mustofa's Convention Short Story Collection, it can be concluded that the character education values ​​in the Convention short story collection are classified as having 18 dominant character education values, namely; religious values, reading pleasure values ​​and attitudes and behavior values.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the transformations of plot and characterization from the novel Laskar Pelangi to the film Laskar Pelangi by using the ecranization method. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research focuses on the transformations of plot and characterizations from the novel Laskar Pelangi (verbal) to the film Laskar Pelangi (audio visual). The data were obtained by reading the novel thoroughly and repeatedly, listening to the film and then identifying and comparing aspects of the plot and characters between the two works so as to find similarities and differences between the works and then record the changes that occurred, especially the plot and characters. Data were analyzed by inductive comparative analysis technique and ecranization process. The validity of the data was obtained through semantic validity and reliability (interrater and intrarater). The results showed that: (1) the transformation of the plot from the novel to the Laskar Pelangi film is that there is a difference in the plot through the addition of film scenes, the reduction of the story in the novel but not shown in the film, and variations in the film compared to the original novel, ( 2) the transformation of characterizations from novels to films caused several changes, such as the omission of Drs. Zulfikar, the appearance of the new characters Pak Mahmud, Pak Zulkarnaen, and Pak Bakri.

Abstract

This research was conducted to get an in-depth explanation of: 1) the form of using alay language in association; and 2) the reasons behind the use of alay language in the language space. The study used a qualitative approach with observation with transcription steps, data classification based on domains, and analysis of language shift indicators and looking for factors that caused language shifts. The results of the study show that: 1) The characteristics of slang with the category of alay are its strange writings and beyond reason and common sense. Its existence can enrich linguistic studies. Such spelling style demonstrates full competence over Indonesian orthography. Users of the alay spelling style have practiced their spelling in its proper place in more casual language spaces, such as on social networking sites, private chats, and instant messages; 2) Alay language appears for the first time since the SMS (Short Message Service) program or short messages from operator services that charge per character tariff which serves to save costs. Educators should not need to be overly nervous because they think the development of "Alay Language" can damage Indonesian. Alay language which is widely used by the younger generation of Indonesia only has the condition that it threatens and damages Indonesian if it is used in inappropriate media. The current Alay language reflects an arbitrary, random, and arbitrary culture; up to.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini, apakah ada Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Talking Stick terhadap Hasil Belajar Ekonomi Pada Peserta Didik Kelas X Semester Genap SMK Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran talking stick terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi pada peserta didik kelas X semester genap SMK Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, dimana metode penelitian yang mengharuskan penulis melakukan praktik mengajar secara langsung pada subjek yang diteliti dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran talking stick. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 98 peserta didik dimana sampel terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu X Akuntansi sebagai kelas Eksperimen yang berjumlah 34 orang dan X Perbankan Syariah sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 32.Setelah diadakan pengujian hipotesis pada uji kesamaan dua rata – rata dan perhitungan data hasil belajar ekonomi dengan menggunakan rumus statistik, maka didapat thit = 3,52 dan ttab = 2,00 pada taraf signifikan 5%. Ini berarti ada pengaruh model pembelajaran talking stick terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi pada peserta didik kelas X semester genap SMK Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2018/2019
