Abstract

This study aims to portray the cultivation of nationalism through extracurricular traditional dance and nationalism character embedded in students who take extracurricular traditional dance in SDN Patihan City of Madiun. The sample of the study was extracurricular teachers of traditional dance and five students who took extracurricular activities in a traditional dance at Patihan Elementary School in Madiun City. The study was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection instruments used observation sheets, interview guides, and extracurricular values documents of students' traditional dance. Data analysis was carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed 1) the cultivation of nationalism through extracurricular traditional dance in SDN Patihan City of Madiun was carried out in three domains, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor; 2) the character of nationalism embedded in students, namely appreciation of the national culture itself, maintaining the nation's cultural richness, love of the motherland, discipline, respecting cultural diversity, ethnicity, and religion, and working together. The six characters are manifested both in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.

Abstract

Cooperation is a relationship made by two or more people who have the goal to carry out an activity together with those who have the same goals for the common good. Be an explanation of cooperation on that really needs to be instilled and developed in students, because by supporting the training of fourth grade students at MI Kinandang able to create and support competition, interpersonal communication, build and trust, and improve relationships in learning that is opened and transitioned. In cooperation skills, students learn firsthand about social skills which is a collaboration of one of social skills. Because social skills are very important for fourth grade students because students will be individuals who can behave in accordance with their social environment, so that students can be accepted into the environment or group. More than just students who have social problems that are not good, it can be done by students in relationships with the environment associated with collaborative activities.

Abstract

Communication skills and moral education are key in social interaction with others. Mentally retarded students experience a disruption in developing communication and the need to provide moral education to retarded mental students. This study aims to analyze the communication skills and moral education of mental retardation students in elementary schools. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. This study used three types of data collection techniques, including observation, documentation, and interviews. The technique used to analyze data in this study is interactive data analysis consisting of the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the implementation of the study in addition to experiencing learning difficulties, mental retardation students also experience a disruption in communication. Retarded mental students have difficulty communicating with their friends and also with their teachers. The mentally retarded Shiva also has not received the maximum moral education.

Abstract

A lot of people's attention focused on the empowerment of people who have both physical and psychological limitations. Attention is nothing but to help him in adjustments to face his life both in terms of communication, social relationships and to meet the needs of his life. The adaptive ability of people with mental retardation that they are trying to empower is their ability in vocational skills. This vocational skill is his ability in getting a job as a stock of his life. Developing vocational skills is not easy to require special ways in learning. Developing vocational skills by using economic empowerment in the environment of people who have mental retardation. Economic empowerment is done to improve the economic independence of people with mental retardation in idiot village, Sidoharjo village, Jambon district, Ponorogo. The aims is to empower people who have mental retardation economically adjusted to its ability that is with cultivation Kroto. The method used is to conduct counseling and training directly to people with mental retardation accompanied by their counterparts about economic empowerment with Kroto cultivation. Application of Kroto cultivation with two partners in Sidowayah hamlet, Sidoarjo village as a pilot project.

Abstract

Learning motivation is an impetus that exists in individuals in learning. In this case motivation is very important. How do students make efforts to be able to develop and increase student learning motivation in class prior to grade promotion (PAS). This study aims to determine the Learning Motivation of Class IV Students in Facing (PAS) Final Semester Assessment. This research uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study. Using Data collection using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that in overall fourth grade students of MI Kinandang, Bendo District had quite high motivation to learn when facing (PAS). It can be seen that students' learning motivation is influenced by intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation.

Abstract

Service activities are carried out to increase the knowledge and skills of elementary school teachers in class management so that teachers can handle or manage classes according to their needs and create classes that are conducive to the teaching and learning process. The method of implementing service activities is carried out through 3 stages, namely lectures, demonstrations, and applications. The lecture method is carried out to provide an overview and knowledge for the teacher in managing the class, the demonstration method is carried out by providing examples of implementing classroom management through a behavioral approach, and the application is carried out by directly applying classroom management with a behavioral approach. The activity was carried out at SDN 1 Plalangan Ponorogo, Jenangan District, Ponorogo Regency with as many as 10 teachers participating in the training, the training activities were carried out for 2 days with a duration of 5 hours each day. Based on the results of the activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the teacher understands better managing the class and is able to apply class management properly according to the material that has been given so that class conditions become conducive and improve the quality of student learning.
