Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to analyze whether there is not the effect of RME for third grade SDN 38 north Pontianak. The research method used is the experimental method with the experimental form Pre Experimental Design, experimental design One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all third grade students public elementary school 38 north Pontianak with a total of 55 students. The sample selection was done by purposive sampling type, with the results of the sample being third grade B. The data collection tool was in the form of a test of student learning outcomes with 4 essay questions. Based on statistical calculations from the average results of third grade B pre-test of 46.30 and the average post-test results of third grade B of 78.30 obtained tcount of 22.19 and ttable α = 5% (with dk = 6 - 3 = 3) of 2.060 which means tcount (22.19)>ttable (2.060). So, it can be concluded that there were significant differences in student learning outcomes in the material determining the circumference and area of square and rectangle, between students taught before applying RME, and groups of students taught by applying RME in third grade SDN 38 north Pontianak.Keywords: Effect, Learning Outcome, Realistic Mathematic EducationAbstractThis study aimed to analyze whether there is not the effect of RME for third grade SDN 38 north Pontianak. Abstract

AbstractThe research aimed. Analysis impression approaching contextual teaching and learning to mathematics result studying at 4th class elementary school 34 Pontianak City. Method  is was using is experimenal  method. The kind of research is was used is Quasi Experimental Design. Populatin of this research were student 4th class to 197 number sample of this research were student from 4th C to 33 numbers, as experiment class and student from 4th class D to 33 number as control class. Data collecting techniques is were used is measuring techniques. Based on analysis obtaining t count (2,580) > t table (1,670) which alternative hypotesis was accepted. As of can cencluded there were differences studying result between experiment class was using contextual teaching and learning impression and class was used deduktif impression. From calculated result effect siqe aqcuisiton ES as big as  0,46 with medium caractere. It mean studying by using contextual teaching and learning impression give medium effect to students 4th class result studying at elementary school 34 of Pontianak City. Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning Approaches,  Learning Outcomes,   Mathematics

Abstract

 AbstrackThis research aims to the discribe students mathematical representation ability of student in complilation in class VIII SMPI Hunsul Yaqin Pontanak. The method that was use in this research is desciptive methode with survey research. The subject of this research are 31 students. The instrument of  data collecting are written test to  in the essay and interview as the follow-up acitivity. The result of data analysis show that the mathematical representation abality of the student with visual learning style have precentage of reach 96,77% and it was categorized as high. The mathematical representation of the students with verbal leraning style have a percentage of reach 66,12% and it was categorized as medium. The mathematical representation of the students with symbolic leraning style have a percentage of reach 53,22% and it was categorized as medium. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of contextual teaching and learning approach on science learning outcomes of 4th grade students of Pontianak Kota 66 public elementary school. This research use experimental method with a quasi experimental form and nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study is all 4th grade students of Pontianak Kota 66 public elementary school totaling 65 students. The sampling technique uses nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling type. Data collection techniques use direct observation and measurement techniques. The research instrument used was a written test with multiple choice form. Based on data analysis result, average score post-test in the experimental class and the control class were 66,333 and 56,774. Result of t-test obtained tcount = 2,538 and ttable = 2,001 (? = 5%; db = 59). Because tcount (2,538) > ttable (2,001), its mean Ha accepted and H0 rejected. The effect size result is 0,638 with medium criteria. The conclusion in this study is that there is the effect the effect of contextual teaching and learning approach on science learning outcomes of 4th grade students of Pontianak Kota 66 public elementary school with medium criteria. Keyword   :   The Effect, Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach, Learning Outcomes, Natural Science

Abstract

AbstractOne of the goals of mathematics in secondary education is that students have the ability to understand mathematical concepts, explain the links between concepts and apply concepts or algorithms flexibly, accurately, efficiently and precisely in problem solving. This study aims to determine students' conceptual understanding in terms of the high-level previous ability group and the medium-level previous ability group in solving the inverse matrix material problem in class XI Sains Senior High School Number 8 Pontianak. The research method used descriptive with survey research. The data source of this study was class XI Sains 2 and the data were answer sheets for the conceptual understanding test and student interview results. The results of the study show that the conceptual understanding of the students of the high-level previous ability group of students has been able to mention the inverse matrix definition and write singular matrix and non-singular matrix. For students of the previous ability group of medium level students have not been able to distinguish matrix that have inverses and those that do not, have not been able to write singular and non singular matrix and have not been able to choose certain procedures or operations to determine an inverse matrix. Keywords: Conceptual Understanding, Previous Ability, Inverse Matrix

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the  effectiveness of the application of the peer tutoring method for learning composition function material in SMAN  1 Sungai Ambawang. The research method used is descriptive method. The research subject was 24 students from class X MIPA 4 SMAN  1 Sungai Ambawang. The aspect used to determine the effectiveness of learning using the peer tutoring method was teacher?s ability in implementing learning, student learning activities and completeness of student learning outcomes. Data collection was obtained by direct observation and learning outcome test. From the results of the study it showed that the teacher?s ability (researcher) in implementing learning with the peer tutoring method was categorized good with an average of 3,45, student?s learning activities categorized active with a percentage of 75,23% and student?s outcome is not reached classical completeness with only 66,67% of student can achieve the minimum completeness criteria. The conclusion of this research is the applicaton of the peer tutoring method for learning composition function material in  class X MIPA 4 SMAN  1 Sungai Ambawang is not effective. Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed was to analyze the influence peer tutoring method of student learning output in learning mathematics in grade V of State Elementary School 06 North Pontianak. the research method was an experiment, form of quasi Experimental's non-equivalent group design. the research population of all grade V students of public Elementary School 06 North Pontianak  werw counted to 43 students. the withdrawal sample tec hnique used purposive sample. the technique used was observation and measuring. the data collection tools are observation sheets and essay question. the data result was the average score of class control post-test was 62,09 and the experiment was 70.69. based on the counting result t-test was 2,060 > t-table 2,020 then ha is accepted. it shows that there is a difference in students learning output of class control and class experiment. the value of effect size was 0,77 with middle criteria. it can conclusion that t­here is an effect of the application of the peer tutoring method on student learning output in learning mathematics in grade V public Elementary School 06 North Pontianak.Keywords: Learning Outcomes,Mathematics, Peer Tutoring

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to know the effectiveness of the Cooperative Learning model of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) type in the material Matriks in class XI of SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. As for this research in terms from three aspects, among others: The teacher's  Implementation managing learning, students activities, and completeness of learning students outcomes. The research method used was the experimental method, with a pre-experimental design. The research sample is students in class XI MIPA 3. Based on data analysis that reviewed three aspects, the results were (1) the implementation of learning management was categorized well with an average score of 3.53. (2) The activities of students are classified as active, namely 73,68%. (3) The learning outcomes of students in a classical manner are 27 students or 79,41% who achieve minimal completeness. The conclusion of this research was that  of the Cooperative Learning model of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) type is effective to be applied to in the material Matriks in class XI SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. Keywords: Cooperative learning model, Matriks, NHT type

Abstract

AbstractThe research goal is to know the effectivity of the implementation of direct instruction model by using the virtual laboratory to the learning result on momentum and impulse topic of 10th grade student of SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak. The form of this research is experimental research and the method is quasi experimental design with the nonequivalent control group design. This research was involved by 24 students from 10th grade MIPA 4 and 18 students from 10th grade MIPA1 with the intact group technique. The research instrument is the test result that consists from 10 multiple choice questions and 2 essays. The result analysis from pretest and posttest showed that there was significant change of the learning result that was proven by 25,85% changes on the control class and 50.8% on the experiment class. There was a significant learning result between the implementation of direct instruction with the virtual laboratory and without virtual laboratory. The implementation of direct instruction model by utilizing the virtual laboratory is effective to improve the learning result on momentum and impulse topic with score of 3,25 effect size which is considered as high.  Keyword: Implementation, direct instruction, virtual laboratory, learningresult, momentum and impulse.

Abstract

Peningkatan peranan Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT) dalam bauran Energi Nasional yang menjadi program pemerintah, terutama penggunaan PLTS Atap, yang bertujuan penghematan / mengurangi tagihan listrik bulanan dan membuka peran serta masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan dan pengelolaan energi terbarukan. Sistem PLTS Atap skala rumah tangga merupakan solusi dalam partisipasi masyarakat dalam penggunaan energi terbarukan.. Sistem PLTS Atap meliputi modul surya, baterai, kontrol panel surya, inverter dan sambungan listrik.Untuk skala rumah tangga katagori sedang menggunakan daya 1300 watt, dengan spesifikasi panel surya 2 buah masing- masing 250 wp, baterai 2 buah masing-masing 100 Ah, kontrol panel surya 130 dan inverter 1300 watt. Biaya investasi awal untuk pembuatan PLTS Atap 10 sampai dengan 15 juta rupiah. Biaya beban listrik yang dibayarkan perbulan sebelum pemakain PLTS Atap berkisar 300 sampai dengan 400 ribu rupiah, setelah penggunaan PLTS Atap biaya beban listrik perbulan 200 sampai dengan 300 ribu rupiah, penghematan rata-rata perbulan 100 ribu rupiah, jika diperhitungkan biaya investasi akan kembali dalam 1 tahun, rata-rata umur material dari PLTS berkisar 20 tahun. Penghematan biaya beban listrik berkisar Rp. 22.800.000,- dalam 20 tahun. Secara ekonomis nilai ini masih sangat kecil, tetapi sudah berhasil melakukan penghematan biaya beban listrik per bulan, dan meningkatkan pemanfaatan energi terbarukan.
