Abstract

The Research on Analysis of Aquaculture Production Development wasconducted in 31 May – 16 June 2014 at Rokan Hulu Regency of Riau Province.The aims of the study were to determine the aquaculture resource potentialthrough the production development analysis, includes the effect of theaquaculture production and also production estimate for the next five years. Themethod used in this study is a Survey Research Development to view theproduction progress each year to support district development.The result showed that the progress of aquaculture production increasedannually with average of 25% per year, and the impact of aquaculture toproduction about 80,8 %, as well as production estimate for 5 years.Keywords : Development, Production, Rokan Hulu district

Abstract

This research was conducted on 14 th May until 21 th May 2013. This study aims todetermine how much capital invested by ornamental fish farmers, the total of cost production, andrevenues and profits business member Diamond Fish Club. The method used in this study is asurvey method with six respondents.The results of this study indicate the average total investment in the plant by ornamental fishfarmers is Rp 11.128.367,-/harvest. The average total of cost production (TC) of Rp 4.672.672,-/harvest and the average revenue earned by farmers Rp 9.357.833,-/harvest with an averagebusiness profit of Rp 4.685.161/harvest.Keyword : Tampan Village, Total Investment, Ornamental Fish

Abstract

The research was conducted in June-July 2014 on Koto Masjid Village and marketing spots of catfish processed product. This research aims to determine the marketing condition and the effective marketing strategies to support catfish processed bussines. The method used was a case study with respondent taking by sensus as many as 6 people catfish processors and by purposive sampling as many as 8 people from marketing participant population.Marketing strategy of catfish product are indentified into three main strategies: 1) market segmentation based on geographic factors include internal and externalsegments in Riau Province, 2) targeting, includes all segments of market (Full Market Coverage), and 3) Positioning, is where a supplier trying to meet the demand for the product catfish on each segment and figure the image to consumer, that the Kto Masjid Catfish Product has good taste made by fresh catfish. Based on the SWOT analysis, there are three strategies that can be implemented based on rating, such as 1) ST1: improving quality and price of the products processed catfish to avoid competition among processors, 2) WT2: the presence of institutions such as cooperative marketing to accomodate catfish processed, and 3) WO2: pursuing the procurement of modern fish processing tools to improve product quality catfish.Keywords: marketing strategies, catfish processed product, Koto Masjid Village

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted in February 2014 held at the farmer group of Ar-Rahman. The research location was determined intentionally, the method that used was asurvey by analyzing primary data, the respondents in this research were selected bypurposive sampling with the number of respondents as many as 7 peoples. The purpose ofthis research was to knowing the application of agri-fishery system in farmer group of Ar-Rahman, knowing the development of each subsystem, and knowing the constraints in theimplementation of each subsystem in farmer group of Ar-Rahman.Application of agri-fishery system in farmer group of Ar-Rahman on the inputsupply subsistem has been running well, the farming subsystem is not good, theagroindustry subsystem is not bad, and the marketing subsystem is good. The developmentof agri-fishery system at a standing start in 2007 to 2010 has been running well, but in2011 the start of the conflict in the farmer group has made the farmer group of Ar-Rahmandeclined in each of subsystems until the 2014’s. Constraints in the input supply subsystemis a farmer group can not make food of the fish. Constrainst in the farming subsystem isthe irrigation which is often problematic when the rains come and the limited skills ofmembers to handling cultivation. In the agroindustry subsystem are constrainst on the lackof skills to use a fish processing tool. In the marketing subsystem does not happenconstraints, but is highly dependent on the production of farming and agroindustry.

Abstract

The research was conducted in December 2014 in the laboratory material fishing gear (BAT) Department of Water Resources Utilization (PSP). The purpose of this study was to determine the best insulating material in between sawdust and coconut coir in defending the temperature remains low. The method used is experimental method. Carried out tests on six fish cooler box (coolbox) created, with the insulator sawdust and coconut coir mixed with tapioca flour and then the data analysis, descriptive. The result showed that of the three comparison sawdust and coconut fiber as a raw material is superior insulator coco with a ratio of 100% of raw materials to maintain the temperatures remain low for 10-11 hours.Keywords: Cooler Box Fish (coolbox). Abstract

The Research on the analysis of gombang was conducted in December until January 2015 in Village Meskom Sub-District of Bengkalis District Bengkalis Riau Province. The aims of this study were to great investmens, gross income, net income and feasibillity using gombang. The method used to this case survey, respondents were selected through stratified Random Sampling of gombang of 3,4 and 9 bags.The results of this study indicate that investmens gombang 3 bags Rp 9.755.000, 4 bags Rp 12.505.000 and 9 bags Rp 26.655.000. Gross income gombang 3 bags Rp 89.496.000, 4 bags Rp 132.660.000 and 9 bags Rp 236.808.000. Net Income gombang 3 bags Rp 63.695.000, 4 bags Rp 101.115.000 and 9 bags Rp 181.079.000. Feasibility of gombang for 3 bags RCR 3,46 and PPC 1,43. 4 bags RCR = 4,20 and PPC = 1,08, 9 bags RCR = 4,25 and PPC = 1.4. This shows that effort gombang gear profiable and feasibilty to proceed.Keywords : Gombang, investment, income, feasibility

Abstract

This research did in Tanjung Kuras Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency Riau Province at 1th Juny until 27th Juny 2015. The purpose do this research is to know the other type of business that conducted fisher and to know how many big income contribution off-fishing toward fisher total income.The data was collected in the census, where all the fishermen in the Tanjung Kuras village as object for questioning. The data obtained in this study were analyzed with descriptive analysis. The using data are primer data and secunder data.The type of alternative activities on coastal fishing communities in the Tanjung Kuras village include motorcycle taxis, oil palm workers, masons, and as haul market worker and the contribution from off-fishing toward fisher total income is 19,5%.Key words : contribution, off-fishing income

Abstract

This research was conducted on Desember 2015 until January 2016 at UPT Sea Turtle Conservation of Pariaman and Apar Village, North Pariaman Regency, Pariaman City, West Sumatera Province. The purpose of this research were 1) to know the conditon of the UPT Sea Turtle Conservation of Pariaman and characteristic of the visitors, trader, and local people 2) to know and analyze multiplier effect of UPT Sea Turtle Conservation of Pariaman’s activity toward the local people economic 3) to know how was the controling of conservation by stakeholder toke part its development. The method used in for this research was survey method, with 57 respondents. There are visitors, trader, local people and head of UPT Sea Turtle Conservation of Pariaman.Based on the result of the research, Sea Turtle Conservation of Pariaman has some activities such as break up of the sea turtle’s eggs, take care of sea turtle, take it to the sea, handly craft and sales food and drinks. According the formula, The Sea Turtle Conservation of Pariaman giving multiplier effect as 1.34. the controling has done based on stakeholder area. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine how much revenue drift fishing with gill nets in a year (travel). This research was conducted on four until ten January 2016 Pasar II Natal village Mandailing Natal district of North Sumatra province. The method used survey method of respondents 12 fisherman owner.The total investment of the owner of the fishing effort of Rp. 295,922,583.00, the average gross income of fishing effort is Rp. 402,049,500.00, the average net income of the arrest of fishing effort each year is Rp. 313,837,083.00. To get the results of the feasibility analysis on a profit of Rp. 313,837,083.00 per year (about 72), so that the profit per trip from catching 4.358.848, this advantage will be longer with the workers, so the owner can profit 2,179,424 per trip and BCR 4.56, FRR 106.05 %, 0.91 PPC period. Obstacles Drift gillnet to develop a fishing business in Pasar II Natal Village is influenced by various factors such as the length of the gear, operating costs, the number of working days, the weather and the season.Keywords: Income, Fishermen, Drift gillnet, Feasibility

Abstract

This research was conducted on December 9 -19 December 2015, in the Unit Pembenihan Rakyat (UPR), which took place in the Simalungun’s District. The purpose of this study was to see the implementation of agribusiness system in the UPR and analyze the UPR business simple. The method used in this study was a survey method which analyze primary data that have been obtained in the field. Determining respondents taken by purposive sampling.Based on research that has been conducted in the UPR, the result that the number of UPR of the 2010-2014 decline. This is due to the population still focused on agriculture and do a hatchery operations as a sideline. However, UPR is still running has increased quite good. Improvements have been achieved in the form of an increased extent, the amount of production is increasing every year as well as the volume of marketing that continues to grow. However, the UPR still face difficulties in business operations. The problems experienced by the UPR are buyer didn’t do payment at same time when they buy seeds, life insurance seeds get longer, forming a group that just to get government assistance and financial administration not to get structured.Keywords: System, Agribusiness, UPR
