Abstract

The achievement of Mathematics contestants from the City of Makassar is very concerning. In March 2018 elementary school mathematics competition was held. Of the 186 participants from Makassar, there were only 56 students who got scores above zero. Only about 30%. Other students get zero or less than zero (negative). There was a decrease in interest and achievement in Mathematics in elementary school students in Makassar. The solution offered was training for Mathematics Elementary School teachers by emphasizing learning method with playing. This is intended so that children have enjoyed Mathematics from the beginning so that in the future the interest in learning Mathematics will be even greater.

Abstract

The involvement of teachers in Bone Regency in using information and communication technology (ICT) to prepare teaching materials is very little or even never said, even though computer facilities and infrastructure are available in the computing lab. This activity aims to provide knowledge to Mathematics teachers about online learning Google Classroom and Geogebra. The use of Google Classroom will make learning more effective for teachers and students because learning is no longer limited by space and time, student can explore learning resources easily and utilize information technology properly. Likewise, Geogebra training is expected to overcome the difficulties of teachers in visualizing concept charts in mathematics dynamically. The target audience for community service is mathematics teachers who are members of the Mathematics MGMP in Bone Regency.

Abstract

Computers as learning media have become mandatory in the teaching and learning process. Mathematical learning in which the field of study is abstract and requires logical thinking is also inseparable from computer learning media. Many software made to facilitate mathematics learning activities, among others: Geogebra, Microsoft Mathematic, Maple, Matlab, SAS, SPSS etc. The dedication activities have been carried out by the Mathematics Department of FMIPA in collaboration with the Hasanuddin University Research and Community Service Institute (Lp2M) in Mathematics Subject Teacher (MGMP) at the junior high School in Pangkajene and Kepulauan District (Pangkep) held in the Junior High School 4 hall with a number of participants as many as 30 teachers from 23 various junior high schools in Pangkep Regency who are members of the MGMP. The purpose of this activity is to improve the ability of junior high school mathematics teachers in Pangkep Regency to use computer-based learning media such as Maple and Matlab. The material provided was training on Maple and Matlab software to support mathematics learning. The results of this activity can improve the ability of mathematics teachers to master mathematical material assisted by software.

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menguji validitas desain pembelajaran trigonometri terintegrasi Al-Qur'an dengan konsep sibaliparriq sebagai model pembelajaran. Desain pembelajaran mengacu pada alur desain modifikasi dari siklus Mc.Kenney dengan pengembangan Dick and Carey. Tahapan penelitian ini yaitu melakukan analisis kebutuhan untuk menghasilkan prototype desain pembelajaran, mengembangkan buku ajar aplikasi trigonometri terintegrasi Al-Qur'an, dan uji validitas. Hasil analisis terhadap uji validitas diperoleh: (1) Nilai V untuk setiap aspek penilaian prototype desain pembelajaran berada pada kategori “Valid” dengan catatan revisi kecil, dan (2) Nilai V untuk setiap aspek penilaian buku ajar berada pada kategori “Sangat Valid” dengan catatan revisi kecil. Oleh karena itu desain pembelajaran trigonometri terintegrasi Al-Qur'an dengan konsep sibaliparriq sebagai model pembelajaran dikatakan valid dan layak diuji cobakan kepada Mahamahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Al Asyariah Mandar.

Abstract

Makalah ini mengangkat masalah tentang model predator prey antara Harimau Sumatera sebagai predator dan Babi Hutan sebagai prey. Tingginya tingkat perburuan liar Harimau Sumatera menyebabkan populasinya terancam punah. Melalui model yang dibentuk akan ditentukan suatu kebijakan perburuan legal sehingga walaupun Harimau Sumatera diburu tetapi tidak mengakibatkan populasinya terancam punah.

Abstract

This handing out lifts the problem about parameterization of all controllers that can internally stabilize the given system. Controller parameterization is done as a mean to show that the controller can we shape in so many kinds of parameter. A control problem in this setup is to analyze some specific properties (e.g., stability or performance) of the closed loop system or to design the feedback control K such that the closed loop system is stable in some appropriate sense.

Abstract

Salah satu epidemi yang sedang mengancam saat ini adalah meluasnya penyalahgunaan narkoba akibat adanya perubahan gaya hidup. Epidemi narkoba meskipun tidak infeksius, tetapi penyebarannya sangat cepat dan dapat menjangkau ke berbagai kalangan masyarakat. Dalam paper ini, dilakukan sebuah pendekatan deterministik terhadap kasus peredaran narkoba dan penanggulangan para pecandu melalui proses rehabilitasi. Hasil analisis model menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai ambang dimana titik kesetimbangan tak endemik model eksis dan stabil secara asimtotik. Simulasi numerik model yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa ada saat tertentu dimana jumlah pecandu narkoba akan berkurang dari dalam sistem, khususnya pada saat rata-rata jumlah pecandu yang direhabilitasi bertambah.

Abstract

Model epidemiologi merupakan salah satu model matematika yang banyak diaplikasikan untuk menggambarkan proses penularan suatu penyakit yang infektif dalam dunia kedokteran, ke dalam bahasa matematika. Model ini pada umumnya menggambarkan mengenai perilaku umum sebuah penyakit yang berkembang dalam suatu sistem. Salah satu besaran yang sangat penting dalam model epidemiologi adalah besaran yang disebut sebagai basic reproductive number  yang biasa dilambangkan dengan R0. Besaran ini banyak memberikan makna dalam interpretasi model matematika untuk menjelaskan seberapa besar proses penularan suatu penyakit dapat terjadi. Dalam tulisan ini akan diberikan suatu metode yang dapat digunakan dalam menentukan nilai R0.
