Abstract

This study aims to determine the cause of working for the long seek graduate of the University of Riau. Data were drawn from this study obtained at Riau University Academic Section from 2008 to 2012. Research uses descriptive research method derived from the questionnaire given to the students graduate of the University of Riau. From the data obtained and questionnaires that the desire of a person with a high wage to be able to meet the needs of the higher life. Generally, a person willing to spend a long time to have a job with great pay. And also with the job information available in print and online can give someone the opportunity to work even greater. So also with the presence of sex differences required by a company, because sometimes different genders, different types of jobs is also suitable for obtainment. Keywords: Wages, Information, Sex.

Abstract

This study bertjuan to analyze regional competitiveness in encouraging foreign direct investment (FDI) in Riau Province. Having regard to the economic sectors and infrastructure base. This study uses time series data between the years 2006-2011, using the Location Question (LQ) with qualitative descriptive analysis to analyze the sectors that affect foreign investment. Results of this study showed that during the period 2006-2011 leading sectors are owned riau four sectors, namely agriculture, construction, Commerce, sector, hotels and restaurants, and the services sector.This is because the value of LQ in each of these sectors is above 1. Not all sectors of the base that is in Riau province to encourage foreign investment as the four sectors, the sector was able to absorb the non base of foreign investors to invest in the province of Riau as happened in the manufacturing sector, this is evidenced by the many processing industries are being easy target for foreign investors to invest their capital.Keywords: Competitiveness, Foreign Investment, Infrastructure

Abstract

Penelitian tentang studi Agroindustri Rengginang Ubi kayu di Kabupaten Kampar,telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus sampai Desember 2008. Tujuan penelitianini adalah untuk mengetahui struktur biaya, pendapatan, efisiensi dan nilai tambahdari pengolahan ubi kayu menjadi rengginang ubi kayu.Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus pada usaha agroindustri rengginang ubi kayudesa Bukit Sembilan, dengan responden semua pengrajin rengginang ubi kayu yaitusebanyak 6 orang.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : komponen biaya terbesar adalah biaya tenaga kerja(90%), kemudian biaya bahan baku (26,31%), pendapatan bersih sebesar Rp204.513,69,- per proses produksi, RCR sebesar 2,05 dan nilai tambah sebesar Rp7.000,- per kg ubi kayu. Untuk meningkatkan pendapatan disarankan pengrajinmeningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan mengurangi biaya produksi, sertameningkatkan kualitas produk dari segi rasa, daya tahan dan kemasan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the basic economic sector and its role inincome inequality between districts / cities in Riau Province. Then the secondarydata used in this study for the period 2010 to 2017 sourced from BPS in RiauProvince and analyzed by Location Quotient (LQ) and Wiliamson Index Sectoral.The results showed that based on LQ Analysis with the Income approach ofdistricts / cities in Riau Province had 3 basic economic sectors, namely theAgriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Sector, the Processing Industry Sector andthe Services Sector. Then based on LQ Analysis with the labor approach ofdistricts / cities in Riau Province only have 1 economic sector base, namely theAgriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector. Furthermore, the base sector that hasavarage sectoral income inequality with a low category is the Agriculture Sector(0.25) and the Services Sector (0.26), and the average sectoral income inequalitywith the medium category is the Processing Industry Sector (0, 47).Keywords: Base Economic Sector, Location Quotient, InequalitySectoralRevenue, Sectoral Wiliams Index

Abstract

This paper attempts to analyzes spatial structural change of economic andidentification of base sector in Siak District. The data used in this paper are timeseries (secondary data) consists of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP)Siak District and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) Riau Province at2000 Constant Market Price by Industrial Origin Excluding Oil 2001-2010. Thedata obtained from Central Bureau of Statistics Riau Province. The analysismethods applied in this study are Shift Share Analysis, Shift Share ModificationEsteban Marquillas, Location Quotient and Base Multiplier. The Results of thestudy analysis known that: Contribution of the primary sector in total GRDP hasdecreased during the period analysis, while the contribution of secondary andtertier sector has increased over the analysis period. Increased the level of GRDPin Siak by 112.70% due to the effects of economic growth in the level of RiauProvince. Effect of economic competitiveness of negative 14.28 %, while theinfluence of the Industrial Mix only by 1.58 %. GDRP growth is the largest frommanufacture sector amounted to Rp 928,774.54 million, national share of thissector amounted to 113.43%, differential shift of negative 33.62% andproportional shift of 20.18 %. From Esteban Marquilass Shift Share analysis onlyagriculture and construction has a competitive advantage and manufacture sectorhas only the specialization advantage. LQ analysis shows that base sector in Siakhas only manufacture sector. Average value of base multiplier effect of Siak are1.9, it means sector basis can give impact to the GRDP formation by 1.9 times ofthe total output.Kata Kunci:Spatial structural change, GRDP, Shift Share, LocationQuotient, Base Sector, Base Multiplier Effect

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecendrungan penerimaan pajak hotel danrestaurant pasca otonomi daerah di Kabupaten Bengkalis Propinsi Riau. Metoda yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah metoda survey, dari hasil penelitian diperoleh, setelah berjalannyapelaksanaan otonomi daerah Tahun 2001, terjadi peningkatan penerimaan dari pajak hotel danrestaurant dan terus berlanjut hingga Tahun 2006, dimana perolehan dari pajak tersebut mencapaiRp.906.063.008,00 untuk pajak hotel dan sebesar Rp.1.566.637.145,64 dari penerimaan pajak rumahmakan dan restoran. Dari hasil persamaan regresi diperoleh estimasi penerimaansampai tahun 2012untuk pajak hotel adalah sebesar Rp.4,071,053,720.69 dan Rp. 5,339,055,946.51 untuk pajak rumahmakan dan restaurant. Problematika kedepan dari penerimaan pajak hotel dan restaurant diKabupaten Bengkalis adalah yang menyangkut dengan aspek ekonomi dan manajemen, sosial politikdan aspek juridis yang sangat diperlukan dalam pengelolaan penerimaan daerah terutama bagi pajakhotel dan restaurant.

Abstract

Tujuan pembangunan bukanlah hanya semata-mata mrngejar tingkatpertumbuhan ekonomi yang tinggi saja, namun bagaimana pertumbuhan ekonomitersebut dimiliki seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmenganalisis tingkat pendapatan dan distribusi pendapatan petani karet.Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Pelalawan yaitu dari bulan April sampaiAgustus 2013, dengan jumlah sampel 100 rumah tangga. Data dianalisismenggunakan indeks Gini Ratio dan kreteria bank dunia. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan petani karet per tahun Rp 32.172.000,-ketimpangan pendapatan yang diperoleh dengan Gini Ratio 0,26 ini menunjukkanbahwa tingkat ketimpangan pendapatan diantara rumah tangga petani karetrelatif merata. Berdasarkan kreteria Bank Dunia tingkat ketimpanganpendapatan petani karet digolongkan baik.

Abstract

Provinsi Riau .memiliki keunggulan komparatif karena letaknya yang strategis. Pertama, Riau dekatdengan negara-negara ASEAN, terutama Singapore, Malaysia dan Thailand. Kedua, Riau terletak dirute perdagangan dan pelayaran internasional di Asia-Pacifik. Ketiga, lokasi Riau dekat denganSingapore yang merupakan salah satu pusat perdagangan dunia. Keempat, Riau terletak di tengah PulauSumatera, dilewati lintas Barat dan lintas Timur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan umtuk mengetahui dampak pendapatan ProgramNasional Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Mandiri (PNPM) terhadap pendapatanmasyarakat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Kuantan Hilir KabupatenKuantan Singing dari bulan Januari- April 2010, dengan metode survey. Sebagairespon dalam penelitian ini adalah semua masyarakat penerima ProgramNasional Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Mandiri (PNPM di kecamatan KuantanHilir sebanyak 26 orang. Dengan menggunakan uji tanda (Sing-test), dapatdisimpulkan bahwa Program Nasional Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Mandiri(PNPM) memberikan dampak terhadap peningkatan pendapatn masyarakat dikecamatan Kuantan Hilir Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi.

Abstract

Revenue is a local tax revenues from charges, levies, separated management of regional assets and other income. Hotel and restaurant taxes are included in the tax area. Hotel and restaurant is a potential sector in improving the effectiveness of the hotel and restaurant tax revenues and contributions provided by hotels and restaurants can spur economic development of Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study to determine the revenue growth, the effectiveness of tax collection and the contribution of the hotel and restaurant tax to the increase in revenue in the year 2010-2014 based Pekanbaru and the realization of the target. The analytical method used is descriptive method to analyze the data of actual hotel and restaurant tax years 2010-2014.The results showed that the growth of tax revenue in the hotel and restaurant tax Pekanbaru from 2010 to 2014 experienced growth fluctuates from year to year. The level of effectiveness of tax revenue in the hotel and restaurant tax Pekanbaru from 2010to 2014 has fluctuated from year to year but is still in a effective criterion. Tax contribution rate hotel and restaurant tax to PAD Pekanbaru from 2010 to 2014 experienced growth fluctuates each year included in the very contributive criteria. Overall the number PAD is not only influenced by the hotel tax and restaurant tax, but there are still other types of receipts that may affect the amount of overall revenue.Keywords: Effectiveness, Contributions, Hotel Tax, Restaurant Tax, Local Revenue
