Abstract

The research aims to understand how much the influence of work discipline has on employee productivity from Prudential City Palangka Raya employees. The research methods used in this study are quantitative research methods. Data collection in the form of observations and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study used the correlation analysis of the product moment according to Sugiyono (2012:212). The results concluded that the work discipline of Prudential insurance employees in the city of Palangka Raya is still lacking and not as expected. Judging from employees often come late, the salary received is improper, lack of appreciation, absence of written sanctions and lack of immediacy as Co-Office. Working discipline is very positive and significant towards the work productivity of insurance employees in the city Palangka Raya. From the results obtained by using the product correlation formula when the value is Rxy 0.995948.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence Compensation and Motivation has on Employee Performance in Langkai Village Office, and can find out which variables are most dominant in influencing Employee Performance. The type of research used is quantitative. The sample taken in the study saw a relatively small number of staff so that the entire population was used as samples called saturated samples. Where saturated samples are sampling techniques if all members of the population are used as samples. Data collection techniques with the questionnaire method. The questionnaire or questionnaire method according to Purwito is "an effort to collect information by delivering a number of written questions that are answered by the respondent". Based on the results of the research on the effect of compensation and motivation on employee performance in Langkai Kota Palangka Raya Village Office namely compensation has a negative effect on the performance of Langkai City Palangka Raya Urban Village Staff, Motivation has a positive effect on Langkai Kota Palangka Raya Village Staff Performance, and simultaneously, Compensation and Motivation have an effective positive towards the Performance of Langkai City Palangka Raya Urban Village Staff. But the most dominant Motivation variable affects Performance in Langkai City Palangka Raya Village Office.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the application of the Reinventing Government in the District of Jekan Raya, Palangka Raya City. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method, using interview data collection techniques, documentation, and observation. The data sources in this study were the Sub-District Head and his staff and the community in the administrative area of ​​Jekan Raya Sub-District. Based on the results of the study show that the implementation of the Reinventing Government in Jekan Raya Subdistrict, Palangka Raya City is still not done maximally and consistently. Of the ten Reinventing Government principles, it turns out that only three policies have been correctly implemented, namely the Results-Oriented law, Anticipatory Government, and Decentralized Government. The other seven principles that have not been consistently applied are the principles of Catalyst Government, Community Ownership, Competitive Government, Mission Oriented Government, Customer Oriented Government, Entrepreneurial Governance, and Market-Oriented Government. Subdistricts should be able to foster interest in the community so that they can actively participate in district programs/activities, can take the initiative to collaborate with other agencies to conduct socialization to the community, employees appointed directly to manage suggestion boxes, can respond to community aspirations, are mission-oriented , providing truly excellent services, reducing and eradicating extortion practices, more carefully in seeing more productive potentials, and providing various information related to sub-districts through multiple media
