Abstract

Hospitals are increasingly needed by the public. The increasing demand makes hospital growth increase. An increase of 154.7% occurred between 1997 and 2017. However, the increase in hospitals was not in line with improved services. Many complaints come from patients to the services provided by the hospital. This research is a study using a combination of qualitative methods and quantitative methods. Data collection techniques in qualitative methods were by observation and interviews with informants who worked at Mandaya Hospital Karawang and Resinda Hotel Karawang managed by Padma Hotels as a comparison. Data collection on quantitative methods is by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents of patients at Mandaya Hospital Karawang. The results showed that the principle of hospitality services is very relevant to be implemented in the Mandaya Hospital Karawang. The implementation of these policies changed the old culture that had been used to become a new culture with the principle of hospitality. Various efforts have been made by management to anticipate changes and maximize service. Front office employees who accept changes in policies and facilities are expected to be able to provide quality services to their patients. By quantitative methods, researchers found a correlation test showed that service quality had a strong and positive effect on patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Smoking is one of activities that is deeply rooted in Indonesian culture so that the economic contribution from this actvities is quite significant in the Indonesian economy. Along with the development of various policy discourses that counter the development of the tobacco industry and processed tobacco products, such as an increase in excise rates for tobacco (CHT) also there is shock of pandemic situation, the sustainability of local tobacco industry needs to be a concern and also has to be prompted the urgency to expand the market to another countries through export activities. This research aims to measure the impact of the potential utilization of tobacco and processed tobacco commodity export activities by considering production capacity, available policy frameworks, and challenges that faced by industrial actors. By using quantitative approach through  the calculation of Input-Output Tables, as well in-depth literature studies on the eport regulatory framework in Indonesia and in other countries also related studies on the opportunities and challenges of tobacco commodity exporters,this research succeeded in providing several findings. By considering the scale of production and eksport opportunities in trade balance deficit countries for tobacco commodities and their derivative products, the measured export potential is in the range of 17.5 bilion – 34.9 bilion USD, which 17.5 bilion USD if Indonesia export to countries with trade deficit ba;ance which has income per capita lower than Indonesia and 34.9 bilion USD when Indonesia is able to export to 20 major countries with the largest trade deficit balance. Policies that need to be taken to archieve this potential include uniformity of commodity quality standarts with international standards, encouraging production incentive policies through subsidy scheme and capital goods grants, and reducing export duties on several suppoting components of tobacco production and its derivatives.

Abstract

The growing environmental damage is the reason for the need for green marketing as a marketing strategy that supports the environment by creating environmental benefits based on consumers' expectations. Green marketing can be done by manipulating the four marketing mix elements to sell products and services offered from environmental conservation benefits derived from waste reduction, increased energy efficiency, and reduced toxic emissions. This study analyzes the effect of green marketing on brand image and purchasing decisions. The population of this study was consumers in Jakarta. Questionnaires were distributed online to 180 respondents reached by researchers. The data obtained is processed by using SmartPLS. The results show that green marketing has a positive and significant effect on brand image and purchasing decisions. Moreover, the brand image positively affects purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Museum seringkali dianggap sebagai tempat memajang koleksi tertentu dengan suasana yang membosankan. Namun saat ini museum mulai dilirik sebagai tujuan rekreasi, salah satu bentuknya adalah museum date yang saat ini banyak dilakukan oleh generasi Z. Museum date merupakan kegiatan kencan dengan cara mengunjungi museum dan menikmati koleksinya. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bentuk kuasa museum dan agen-agen pendukungnya di balik berkembangnya tren kunjungan dan bagaimana inovasi tata pameran dapat meningkatkan minat berkunjung ke museum. Studi yang menggunakan metode observasi partisipan dan wawancara mendalam ini menemukan bahwa museum date merupakan momen penciptaan pengalaman unik antara pengunjung dan koleksi yang dipamerkan dengan suasana tertentu, dan tata pameran yang inovatif berdampak pada minat kunjungan serta berpotensi mempengaruhi gaya hidup generasi Z. Selain itu, studi ini memberikan wawasan yang lebih baik kepada museum tentang pentingnya inovasi dalam transfer pengetahuan sejarah untuk menciptakan pengalaman baru bagi pengunjung dalam menikmati museum. A museum is frequently considered an unexciting space to display a particular collection. These days, the museum has made a unique way to interest as a recreation place. Museum-date has been quite a favored activity for gen-Z lately. It is dating activities by visiting museums and enjoying their collections. This research explores its strengths and the supporting agents behind developing the museum’s visit trends and proves that the developed innovation can increase visitors’ interest in visiting the museum. Based on the study method, which conducts observation and depth interviews, museum-date bears a remarkable experience among visitors and displayed-collection in the incredible moment and impacted, innovative exhibition arrangement on visitors’ interest, potentially affecting gen-Z’s lifestyles.

Abstract

The tourist experience is one of the critical success factors in the tourism industry. Every destination, tourist attraction, and other tourism product must be able to provide a memorable tourist experience.  Banyuresmi tourism village, Pandeglang, Banten has the potential to attract cultural heritage tourism, including gastronomic tourism. However, the potential has not been developed as a tourist attraction that can provide a memorable experience for tourists. This descriptive qualitative research aims to identify and analyze the potential of cultural and gastronomic tourism that is memorable for tourists. Primary data collection was obtained from field observations and in-depth interviews with key informants. Data analysis through a reduction process to determine the components that provide a memorable experience for travelers. The results of the study indicate that cultural and gastronomic tourism experiences that are memorable for tourists when visiting Banyuresmi tourism village can be formed from five components, namely; (1) good social interaction between residents and tourists, (2) camping activities provide a memorable experience because they have local authenticity, (3) good service and hospitality of residents become a special attraction and give a deep impression to tourists, (4) the tradition of camping and making bamboo crafts becomes an impressive cultural and gastronomic tourism attraction for tourists, and (5) challenges encountered along the way to the location also create an unforgettable experience for tourists.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pesantren Modern Gunung Menyan dengan luas 72 Hektar  yang berada di Bogor berpeluang menarik minat pengunjung secara umum, dan secara khusus dapat menjadi area pendukung kawasan wisata terpadu yang sedang dikembangkan Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Bogor, yaitu Kawasan Strategis Pariwisata Daerah Halimun-Salak dan sekitarnya. Kajian kualitatif pengembangan destinasi wisata pesantren modern Gunung Menyan dilakukan untuk mendukung kebijakan pemerintah dalam meningkatkan ekonomi kreatif sektor pariwisata. Hasil kajian menunjukkan terdapat sembilan obyek pariwisata dapat ditawarkan kepada wisatawan yang terdapat di lingkungan pesantren modern Gunung Menyan. Sembilan obyek yang dikaji dalam proses pengembangnnya bisa bersifat jangka pendek, jangka menengah, dan jangka panjang. Kata kunci: pesantren modern Gunung Menyan, destinasi wisata, Bogor, wisata halal ABSTRACT Pesantren Modern Gunung Menyan with an area of 72 hectares located in Bogor has the opportunity to attract visitors in general, and in particular can become a supporting area for an integrated tourist area that is being developed by the Bogor Regency Tourism Office, namely the Tourism Strategic Area of the Halimun-Salak Region and its surroundings. The study of the development of modern islamic boarding school tourist destinations was carried out to support government policies in improving the creative economy of the tourism sector. The results of the study show that there are nine tourism objects that can be offered to tourism in the modern Gunung Menyan islamic boarding school environment. Abstract

The food culture of the Badui people is extremely diverse and still upholds the traditional knowledge that has been passed down through the generations. The goal of this study was to learn about the Badui community's food customs, namely how to procure, prepare, serve, eat, and preserve food so that it might be developed as a vehicle for importation. This kind of research uses a naturalistic/ethnographic paradigm and is qualitative. Observation, a review of the literature, in-depth interviews, and researchers themselves as the main tool were used as data gathering techniques. Interviews with informants Jaro Saija (village chief/Jaro Pamarentah), Mr. Sukma (a resident of outer Badui), and Mr. Sudirman serve as the primary sources of data (PHRI Banten). The existence of leuit as a rice barn and the custom of huma and ngaseuk rice each time they plant rice or secondary crops demonstrate that the Outer Badui community still upholds its food culture. Food ingredients can sometimes be prepared via frying, boiling, and roasting. The cooking equipment are still conventional, but some of the serving items are contemporary. The Badui continue to eat natural foods, but they also purchase other essentials outside of their area.

Abstract

Tumbuh kembang anak yang optimal merupakan kebutuhan dasar dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia di masa yang akan datang. Hal tersebut dapat tercapai apabila terdapat sistem pendukung yang memadai dan tepat dari lingkungan yang sehat, dengan melibatkan kearifan lokal masyarakat. Cisaga merupakan salah satu kecamatan di Jawa Barat, Indonesia yang mengedepankan pengembangan sumber daya manusia sebagai prioritas utama dalam pembangunan daerah. Tujuan dari program pemberdayaan masyarakat ini adalah untuk membangun kota sehat dan ramah anak yang dimulai dari Kabupaten Cisaga. Program pemberdayaan masyarakat meliputi skrining tumbuh kembang anak; meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader kesehatan dalam mendorong tumbuh kembang anak, memotivasi masyarakat dalam menumbuhkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat; mengembangkan ruang baca anak; dan mengembangkan desain ruang terbuka hijau yang ramah anak. Setelah dilakukan evaluasi program, muncul respon positif dari masyarakat terhadap program tersebut. Para kader kesehatan mengaku memiliki kemampuan untuk mengajari para ibu bagaimana cara menstimulasi anaknya. Dengan menggunakan kearifan lokal melalui pelibatan masyarakat dalam program-program tersebut, maka perubahan dalam masyarakat lebih dapat diandalkan untuk dilaksanakan

Abstract

In cultural tourism, authenticity is one of the main elements that attract tourists to come and visit. The Baduy Luar tribe still holds firm to its culture and customs. However, it cannot be denied that the presence of social interaction between the Outer Baduy tribe and the tourists will cause a cultural shift, which in this case is acculturation that occurs among the youth of the Outer Baduy tribe. This research was conducted to find out the extent of the authenticity of the culture of the outer Baduy tribe and the preservation that will continue to be done by the youth of the outer Baduy tribe. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with the leader of the Luar Baduy tribe (Jaro) and also the youth of the outer Baduy tribe. The results found that the youth of Baduy Luar have an understanding of the importance of cultural authenticity as an attraction for cultural tourism, they are also happy with the presence of tourists who come because it has an economic impact.
