Abstract

This study aims to analyzed the effect of male-female chamfer configuration in a rotary friction welding of alumunium 6061. The male-female chamfer configuration tend to make an inner chamfer and outer chamfer shape between two connected materials. The chamfer angle analyzed varies in 300, 450, and 600 where the friction time also varies in 1 and 2 minute. The results shows that the tensile strength increased along with smaller chamfer angle and longer friction time. The largest tensile strength of 33.92 kgf / mm2 was obtained in the variation B30. The smallest tensile strength of 12.20 kgf/mm2 gained in specimen A60. Smaller chamfer angle leads to a larger friction areas which caused the welding contact areas also wider. The male-female chamfer method slopely increase the contact area by 78%, 33% and 12% than normal circle profile.

Abstract

Banyaknya masyarakat yang mencampur bahan bakar premium dengan pertamax tanpa ukuran  dengan berbagai alasan tanpa mempertimbangkan akibat yang ditimbulkan pada mesin itu sendiri, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang Analisis Pencampuran Bahan Bakar Premium-Pertamax Terhadap Kinerja  Mesin Konvensional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan campuran bahan bakar yang optimum terhadap kinerja mesin konvensional. Bahan bakar pertamax mempunyai nilai oktan RON (Research Octane Number) yang tinggi yaitu 92 artinya bahan bakar ini lebih lambat terbakarnya dari pada premium yang mempunyai nilai oktan RON 88 yang memiliki sifat mudah terbakar. Sehingga dalam pencampuran jenis bahan bakar yang memiliki sifat yang berbeda akan mempengaruhi sifat aslinya, apakah juga akan mempengaruhi kinerja mesin. Metode yang dilakukan dengan mencampur bahan bakar premium dengan pertamax dari 10% : 90%; 20% : 80%; 30% : 70%; 40% : 60%; 50% : 50%; 60^:40% dengan putaran 750(Rpm); 1000(Rpm); 1250(Rpm); 1500(Rpm); 1750(Rpm) dan 2000(Rpm). Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah dengan  dengan campuran premium-pertamax 60%:40% yang paling optimum dalam menghasilkan kinerja mesin yang paling baik untuk mesin konvensional.

Abstract

Mom housewife Hamlet II North Village Sambirampak Kidul District Kotaanyar and Krajan Sumber Rejo District of Paiton Probolinggo in improving its economy by making the effort to make cassava chips, the cutting process cassava are still using manual so that the slaughtering is not the same / uniform and processes running slow it greatly affects the competitiveness of products to other regions / cities as well as difficult to meet the growing market demand. In addition to wrapping / packaging did not pay attention to material packaging (plastic), as well as the density of packing can lead to life-time of his very short (the survey only 1 week) and estitika of packaging its themselves are less interesting as well as harmful to health. With cassava chopper machine and a table for wrapping, making cassava cutting more efficient, effective productivity into 4 x more than the manual way and the life time of cassava itself longer 3 months compared with manual stripping. Besides better production performance and attractive than ever before are using copy paper wrapper incorporated herein.

Abstract

In neighborhood RT.09 RW.04 Tunjungsekar urban village, many young people are unemployed and have high motivation in restricting their village in RT environment, besides because in neighborhood RT. this is a lot of activities and there is no suitable place in the preparation of the current event or is being done on the road by installing tents from the rental of a large enough cost and hi cash RT. From the above problems and initial surveillance from the authors agreed to be given training and education of Electrical Electrical to make the framework of the terop on the youth in neighborhood RT.09 RW.4 in Tunjungsekar Village to be used as the provision of his life. The purpose of this PKM is: 1. Helping the youth in neighborhood RT.09 RW.04 to get Electrical Laser skill, 2.Helping youth in neighborhood RT.09 RW.04 in making frem of tend, which many use electric welding machine , 3. Helping youths in neighborhood RT.09 RW.04 to gain knowledge in work with Electrical Welding machine so that it will improve their competitiveness and income. The results obtained in this PKM is 1. the presence of awning in the neighborhood RT.09 RW.04 Tunjungsekar Village, which can be used alone or rented so that it can raise the cash RT. 2. The youth have welding skills so as to be able to increase their income. and 3. Youth groups in the environment has a welding machine from donation Polytechnic of Malang.

Abstract

The residents of RW.04 Kelurahan Tunjungsekar have a plan to create a public playground called Kampung Bambu Mewek.  The lack of funding for the development of Bamboo Mewek Village has an impact on the lack of facilities it has.  This is seen one of them is the entrance to Kampung Bamboo Mewek that not too impressed so less attract people to visit it.  Through this PkM program, it is proposed to install running text, so it is expected to attract people to visit Kampung Bambu Mewek.  The method of implementation of this community service program is together with the community building gate of Kampung Bambu Mewek.  Some stages of the implementation of this program are: 1.  Preparation stage, at this stage we have done first for the preparation of equipment and materials needed such as: Running Text. 2.  Erection stage, at this stage in mutual cooperation with the community to build the gate Kampung Bambu Mewek. 3.  Reporting stage, at this stage will be reported the results of activities that have been implemented including details of the cost.  The whole stages are conducted over a period of 1 month involving the role of the civilitation RT.09 RW.04 Kel. Tunjungsekar Kota Malang.

Abstract

Kelurahan Tunjungsekar is one of District in Malang, which is located at center of town that it has rarely have a water absorbtion region so it is prone to flooding when it rains.  Through this PkM program, it is proposed a biopori production that serves as a water catchment area which can help the land or residental areas that have rarely trees to absorb water in a relatively short time so that no water flows or even floods occur.  The method of implementation of this program is to invite people to make biopori at some point which is prone to puddle. Some stages of the implementation of this biopori making program are: 1. The preparation stage, at this stage preparation of equitment and biopori media and site survey to determine which points need to be installed biopori. 2. Implementation phase, at this stage people do soil drilling and installation of biopori at some point location that has been predetermined. Reporting stage, at this stage will be reported the results of activities that have been implemented including details of the cost. The whole stages are conducted over a period of 8 months involving the role of the civilitation RT.09 RW.04 Kel. Tunjungsekar Kec. Lowokwaru Kota Malang.
