Abstract

Commercial duck farming in Indonesia is practiced either as a nomadic way (moving around) or as an intensified settled system. Since the emergence of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) H5N1 subtype clade 2.1.3 in Indonesia in 2003, ducks acted as a reservoir (carrier) without showing clinical signs. In late 2012 the new HPAI H5N1 clade 2.3.2 was introduced which caused high duck mortality, especially in young ducks. Nomadic ducks have a high risk of developing and spreading Avian Influenza (AI). In addition to this high risk, there are many duck farmers who do not practice proper AI vaccination, to achieve protective immunity. One of the measures to control AI is by administering scheduled vaccinations. The objective of this study was to investigate the increase of AI antibody titer in ducks after vaccination and to identify the best timing for vaccination.

Abstract

Duck is a type of commercial poultry, farmed traditionally by herding transiently or intensive farming by the community. In general, the herding duck looks for food at the surface of rice field and from rice stem. The problem often occurred on these herded ducks were feed poisoning because the extensive use of pesticide in rice field, therefore the traditional   farming had become riskier. The careless use of drugs in handling health problems in duck, such as the administration of antibiotics to all livestock within one group. The objective of this study is to identify the use of antibiotic in duck farm.

Abstract

The problem of air pollution caused by burning of fossil fuels and the process of combustion is increase. Many efforts. has done to reduce the air pollution problem. Starting from the combustion process to give equipment as reduce gass emissions and raise the quality of burning, but the ari pollution is still high, especially the burning gasoline of motor fuel Air pollution a motor vehicle exhaust gases come from the rest of the results of the combustion of fuel that do not be unraveled or burning with perfect. Bad gass emissions caused by incomplete combustion of fuel in the fuel chamber. Element contained in the exhaust gasses are CO, NO2, HC, C, H2, CO2, H2O dan N2, The CO and CO2 gasses is the most radical among the others. The CO gass is poisonous, if a men inhale this gas can caused death. While the CO2 gass is a radical gass who can cause the greenhouse effect. The aims of this research are : 1 to understand the effect of carbon composite material, lime and glue towards reductions in emission of motor vehicle . 2. to find out the optimal composition of composite material to reducing the emission level of motor vehicle.The study and research in order to reduce gas emissions until now have done using installation catalyst on muffler. In this research, the mixed of absorption exhaust gas is observed. Especially the poisonous gas. The mixture material is made from carbon, lime and glue. And then installed on muffler filter. A mixture is made by comparation varied. Using minitab software for analyse and the conclusions are: 1. The addition of absorben composition between carbon (C) with lime (CaO) on exhaust can reduce the level of gass emission. 2. The most optimal composition absorben C and CaO in absorption and produce the lowest C and CO2 gass is C and CaO with comparison ratio is 30 %: 70 %

Abstract

Safety and comfort are the valuable factor for the driver. One of the safety factor refers to the steering accuracy. Steering wheel hardness must be soft when turning but remain stable in straight track. The comfort factor refers to the bouncing effect when the car passing in rough track. Those two factors is depend on the shock absorber components. This study aims to know the optimum gas pressure and spring pressure to obtain the maximum vibration reduction. This study use the experimental methods use the 6 bar, 8 bar, and 10 bar of absorber pressure. The spring pressure used in this study is 20 , 25 dan 30 (Kg/cm2). The data obtained were analyzed with MINITAB software. From the results of research on Optimizing Shock Absorber Pressure and Coil Spring Pressure Against Car Vibrations can be concluded as follows: 1. There is an influence of absorber pressure and spring pressure on the suspension on the amount of vehicle vibration. The optimum absorber pressure is 10 (bar). 2. The optimum coil spring pressure at 24 (kg / cm2).

Abstract

Pembentukan logam masuk dalam sebuah kelompok besar dari proses-proses manufaktur. Pembentukan logam menggunakan deformasi plastis untuk mengubah bentuk benda kerja. Deformasi atau perubahan bentuk dihasilkan dari penggunaan tool yang biasanya disebut die (cetakan). Cetakan tersebut memberikan tegangan yang melebihi kekuatan yield logam (plastis). Logam selanjutnya berubah bentuk menjadi bentuk yang sesuai dengan geometri cetakan. Pembetukan flens pada lubang disebut hole-flanging. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk memperkuat bagian tepi dari lubang atau untuk tujuan membuat ulir. Untuk pelat logam yang tipis proses ini bisa dibuat bersamaan dengan proses piercing. Proses hole-flanging ini berfungsi untuk menyediakan luasan pengikatan pada sambungan-sambung pipa. Proses hole-flanging ini kemudian dikembangkan dengan metode bertahap yang menggunakan cetakan yang sangat sederhana. Proses pembentukan ini disebut dengan incremental hole-flanging. Pada pembuatan flens untuk percabangan maupun pengikatan pada lingkungan kerja yang tertutup, proses hole-flanging konvensional tidak mampu dilakukan dengan prinsip pembentukan ke dalam. Proses pembuatan flens untuk kasus seperti ini digunakan metode incremental backward hole-flanging. Pada penelitian ini akan dianalisa karakter deformasi dari benda kerja alumunium dengan metode incremental backward hole-flanging terhadap laju pembentukan. Dimana mesinyang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah mesin CNC 3-axis dengan parameter laju pembentukan sebesar 500, 1000, 1500, dan 2000 mm/min.

Abstract

In the cutting process on the tirning machine the shape of chips generatedvaries among long chip (continuous chip) and a dashed chip, chip shape isinfluenced by the geometry of the tool including chip breaker radius appliedcutting tool, and the radius of the breaker chip thought to have an influence onworkpiece surface roughness and tools durabulity. The influence of the radius ofthis chip breaker needs to be analyzed for how it effect the value of the surfaceroughness. The goal of my research is to find the optimal surface roughness isgenerated by certain radius enabling have to be used for guidance for thetoolmaker in turning machine in metal manufakturing. The conclusion from thisstudy is the difference in roughness significant value to the amount of burr givenradius breaker.

Abstract

Waste matter plastic (especially former drinking water packaging) and community economic level of relatively low on will be essentially had an impact on their the national and state life, because besides feared plastic garbage is to be pollute environment , will appear negative things due to the economic situation of economic low as, theft, robbery, forgery, of child trafficking, malnutrition, and others. Activities devotion to the community (PKM) this purpose of giving guidance and processing plastic waste by means of enumerated, in relation to the addition of value plastic waste packaging mineral water to improve living standard Officers Garbage Collector (PPS) in Kelurahan Tunjungsekar, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang. In implementation of activities PKM this methods used is conducting observations and assistance to the social protection programs, prepared matter, preparation instrument , material, and a required in processing plastic waste that includes: (1) Way election waste plastic to be processed, (2) Election processing , (3) The determination of the type machine used for processing plastic waste. The evaluation will be done to see processing plastic waste run the social protection programs for each the outcome of the activities start first to produce plastic processed. At the end of the implementation of the done placement plastic waste crusher machine scale home in the house of PPS.

Abstract

The residents of RW.04 Kelurahan Tunjungsekar have a plan to create a public playground called Kampung Bambu Mewek.  The lack of funding for the development of Bamboo Mewek Village has an impact on the lack of facilities it has.  This is seen one of them is the entrance to Kampung Bamboo Mewek that not too impressed so less attract people to visit it.  Through this PkM program, it is proposed to install running text, so it is expected to attract people to visit Kampung Bambu Mewek.  The method of implementation of this community service program is together with the community building gate of Kampung Bambu Mewek.  Some stages of the implementation of this program are: 1.  Preparation stage, at this stage we have done first for the preparation of equipment and materials needed such as: Running Text. 2.  Erection stage, at this stage in mutual cooperation with the community to build the gate Kampung Bambu Mewek. 3.  Reporting stage, at this stage will be reported the results of activities that have been implemented including details of the cost.  The whole stages are conducted over a period of 1 month involving the role of the civilitation RT.09 RW.04 Kel. Tunjungsekar Kota Malang.

Abstract

The hard facing process is the welding process of SMAW by using a hard facing DIN 888 electrode as a hard facing to replace conventional cutting tool material. The purpose of this analysis is to determine the effect of preheating temperature on the welding of hard coatings on AISI A35 low carbon steel. The results of this study are expected to obtain optimum hardness on coated steel, from variations in the temperature of the preheating. there will be a change in the hardness of the welding deposit, the deposit will be used as cutting tools. The results of this study can be used as guidelines for making cutting tools.

Abstract

Salah satunya hal terpenting untuk meningkatkan keamanan, khususnya bagi warga di kawasan RW 04 Kelurahan Wonokoyo Kecamatan Kedungkandang Kota Malang adalah penerangan. Instalasi lampu penerangan jalan umum masih minim, sehingga jauh dari memenuhi standar keselamatan. Dengan kondisi seperti diuraikan diatas, maka guna menjamin ketersediaaan lampu penerangan jalan yang aman dan bisa diandalkan, dilakukan pelatihan pembuatan lampu penerangan jalan umum (PJU) bertenaga surya di RW 04 Kelurahan Wonokoyo Kecamatan Kedungkandang Kota Malang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi: survey lokasi, identifikasi dan solusi masalah, perencanaan kegiatan, perhitungan kebutuhan bahan dan peralatan, pelatihan pembuatan tiang lampu PJU bertenaga surya dan pemasangannya. Hasil kegiatan antara lain peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan warga di bidang fabrikasi dan instalasi lampu PJU bertenaga surya, terpasangnya 2 buah Lampu PJU Bertenaga Surya, menggunakan lampu LED 60 W bertegangan DC 12V, Panel Surya 50 WP, Solar Charger ontroller kapasitas maks 10 A, dan Baterai VRLA 65 Ah, yang berdampak pada peningkatan keamanan lingkungan dan aktivitas warga pada malam hari di lingkungan RW 04 Kelurahan Wonokoyo Kecamatan Kedungkandang Kota Malang.
