Abstract

The objective of the study were (1) To know the process of teaching writing skill in narrative text at tenth grade of SMK PGRI 3 Kota Serang (2) To find out the result of students writing skill in narrative text by using dispersion imagination at tenth grade of SMK PGRI 3 Kota Serang. This research is used a mixed method research design, classroom action research. The result of the research were (1) the process of teaching narrative text using dispersion imagination in writing skills of two steps; pre-cycle and cycle. The result of research showed that the research in cycle 1, the writer used the move picture, the students to listen and look at the move picture in slide at the Power Point about the material. The students write narrative text from the story by using dispersion imagination. In cycle 2, the use of film is able to improve students writing skill in narrative text and develop idea to write well. While the role of teachers who are not just as facilitators, but also as a motivator and inspirator are also able to provide new supported in the learning process. There is improvement in writing skill of the students after the treatment. It can be seen from their main score of pre-test and post-test. (2) There was improvement in the pre-test main score (41.00), the first post-test mean score (45.00), and the second post-test main score (76.00). The achievement of writing in post-test is 76,00%. In conclusion, there was significant improvement of the students in writing skill in narrative text by using dispersion imagination.

Abstract

Teacher is one of actor who has the important position to determine the success key of process of learning. Although, the factors that can affects the process of learnnig is not only based on the teacher itself. But as an agent of educator in formal educational institution, the teacher can bring the biggest impact for all of the students. Because as we known, to create the best quality in process of learning, it always need the qualify and professional teacher. There are four competence that should be mastering by teachers, to make themselves be qualify . One of the competence is pedagogical competence. This one, is competence that make the teacher profession is different from the other profesion. This research aimed to describe the ability of teacher in mastering pedagogical competence, and also the process of implementation of pedagogical competence in teaching English at SMK PGRI 3 Kota Serang. This research is one the kind qualitative research with the descriptive approach. To collect data related to the subject that being studied in this research, the writer used some of techniques such as observation, questionnaire, interview and some of the research documentations. This research used three of English teacher as a sample research. For the result of this research it can see based on the result of observation sheet that show is around 65.625% for the implementation of pedagogical competence in the process of teaching English. And, for the result of questionnaire get the 70% for score in ability of teacher in mastering pedagogical competence. Based on this research, it can conclude that the ability of teacher in mastering pedagogical competence and implementation of it in teaching English are still include on the good category.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to investigate young learners perceptions and moral values on listening while English language teaching for young learner by having "Dora: The Lost Gold City" Movie at SMP Daarul Yaqiin. Method of research used descriptive analysis to explore young learner’s perception and moral values. Instrument used were observation, questionnaires and interviews. Interviews and questionnaires were conducted in the seventh grades of SMP Daarul Yaqiin. It was followed by 50 young learners who join listening class. The results of this study indicate; (1) Young learners give a good perception about the use of the movie "Dora: The lost city of gold" (2) Young learners give positive feedback to attract listening skills by using the movie "Dora: The lost city of gold" in learning, and (3) young learners get moral values by watching the movie "Dora: The lost city of gold". The advantages of using the movie "Dora: The lost city of gold" in learning listening are; it helps young learners understanding the subject easily, young learners were happy, gave them motivation to learn English for young learner. From these finding the conclusion was the used of the movie "Dora: The lost city of gold" in English listening easy understanding material has positive response from young learners and also provided several benefits for them especially moral values for young learners.

Abstract

Limbah industri dan sampah yang dihasilkan manusia sering membuat lingkungan kumuh serta menjadi tidak sehat. Permasalahan yang muncul terkait sampah yaitu polusi udara, dan kesehatan manusia serta lingkungan. Untuk itu dibutuhkan inovasi lain untuk memanfaatkan sampah. Salah satu benda yang dimaksud adalah kardus. Sampah berupa kardus merupakan salah satu sampah yang banyak digunakan untuk industri kerajinan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan model waterfall. Alasan dari penggunaan metode waterfall adalah karena metode ini tersusun secara lengkap step by step nya, sehingga bisa meminimalisir kesalahan yang akan terjadi. Dengan Tahapan sebagai berikut: Analisis, desain, coding, pengujian, perawatan. Dalam penelitian ini, telah dijelaskan bahwa penempatan penggunaan Arduino Uno R3 yang merupakan kebermanfaatan untuk kesehatan lingkungan dengan cara mengolah sampah dan disosialisasikan kepada masyarakat oleh mahasiswa Universitas Banten Jaya mengenai penggunaan Ardruino Uno R3. Hasil penelitian ini adalah berupa struktur atau desain sistem untuk sampah dengan menggunakan ardruino Uno R3 yang terdiri dari perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak untuk source code arduino, diagram blok arduino Uno R3 yang terdiri dari servo, buzzer, dan arduino.

Abstract

The Objective of the research are: 1) to know the effectiveness of applying Mind Mapping strategy on student speaking ability. 2) to determine the effectiveness of applying Mind Mapping Strategy to student’ speaking ability  3) to ascertain the effectiveness of applying Mind Mapping Strategy to student’ speaking ability. 4) to know the impact of applying Mind Mapping Strategy to student’ speaking ability. The population of the research was all of the six grades student and the sample was VI B with 40 student as an Experimental Class And VI A with 40 student as a control class. The methodology of the research was quasi-experimental design with the equivalent Control group design, in which the writer provided the pretest and posttest which are given to the experimental Class and Control class. The score was taken from the pretest and posttest which are given on the student belong to experimental class and control class. The average score of pretest of experimental class and are 66.625, and posttest score area 79.625, and also the pretest for control class are 64.750 and the posttest are 74.875. To prove the hypothesis, the writer counted the significance by using t test. Based on the distribution table t 5% significance and of 78, the t table is 0,02 0.05(0.050-0.05), so all the t count in the table is higher than t table. Therefore, Ho is rejected and Ha is received.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Literacy is the one of reading and writing skills capabilty. The Information of literacy as the competion have to give the information to society. The one Literacy implementation at the cikolelet vilages tourism have the purpose for critical thinking capabilty. The devlopment of Information and communication is veryhight, but did not always took society solution. The problem condition is the internet information linked gate and its make the user confuse. The libracy target is to give the socialization about education information and the library proggrame applied to the society are mobile library and library field. The other side, the litaracy implementation in Cikolelet vilage through mobile library and library field for society become the solution to looking for the information and become the inovation to icreasing the literacy society.

Abstract

The aim of the Community Service Program, Kuliah Kerja Nyata- Pembelajaran dan Pemberdayaan Kepada Masyarakat (KKN-PPM) is to improve the skills of society in Sindanglaya village, Cinangka. The problem faced does not know the use the waste of plastic to produce the useful and selling value products. The method of implementing this service is through (1) Survey through observation, interviews, and analysis of problems and potential of the village, (2) Training on making paving block from the waste of plastic. The results of this program are increasing knowledge and skills of the community regarding training on making paving block from the waste of plastic. This program is expected to facilitate the community in increasing their knowledge and skills in processing the waste materials into products that are useful and have selling value, therefore that the societies in Sindanglaya become productive communities.

Abstract

Pasca pandemi virus corona mengakibatkan perubahan pada kehidupan manusia. Himbauan kepada masyarakat untuk banyak melakukan kegiatan yang lebih produktif dapat mengatasi kondisi perekonomian. Salah satu kegiatan yang produktif adalah bercocok tanam. Selain dapat meminimalisir kekurangan kondisi perekonomian masyarakat, bercocok tanam membuat lingkungan menjadi lebih asri dan dapat memanen hasil tanaman sendiri, bahkan dapat dijadikan sebuah produk yang memiliki nilai jual. Pengolahan dan pemasaran hasil holtikultura dapat di pasarkan melalui jalur media online (digital marketing). Bentuk kreatifitas merupakan modal utama dalam menghadapi tantangan global. Bentuk-bentuk perekonomian selalu tampil dengan nilai tambah yang khas, menciptakan “pasar” nya sendiri, dan berhasil menyerap tenaga kerja serta pemasukan ekonomi masyrakat. Untuk mengembangkan perekonomian di perlukan Sumber Daya Manusia yang berkualitas. Dengan daya inovatif dan kreativitas yang tinggi. Namun di samping kebutuhan akan SDM yang berkualitas, pengembangan peningkatan perekonomian juga membutuhkan ruang atau wadah sebagai tempat penggalian ide, berkarya, sekaligus aktualisasi diri dan ide-ide kreatif. Tanaman yang dipilih untuk bercocok tanam di perkebunan berupa Durian ( Durio spp), buah melinjo (Gnetum gnemon) dan kembang Telang (Clitoria ternatea) atau Butterfly pea.
