Abstract

The purpose of this activity is 1). Provide a correct understanding of the types of disasters, places to save themselves when a disaster occurs. 2) Perform a self-rescue simulation when a disaster occurs. The objectives in this activity are students in 3 schools that have high risk namely SD 1,2 and 3 Sawarna Bayah District. Lebak Banten The number of participants was 35 students consisting of 20 female students and 15 male students. The implementation activity is divided into 3 , namely the transfer knowledge, games, and simulations. Submission of material includes: video screening, giving quizzes. Video shows contain an introduction to the types of disasters, namely: earthquakes, tsunamis, landslides, floods, hurricanes / typhoons, fires, volcanic eruptions. The next material is in the form of safe locations when the disaster occurs. Vidoe describes which locations should be addressed and avoided. After the video was aired, an evaluation of the extent of understanding of threatening environmental disasters was carried out. The game is done by classifying types of disasters. The last activity is a simulation when an earthquake occurs using singing. In general, the results of evaluation and simulation results can run according to the objectives. Participants can understand the types of disasters, disasters that may occur in their environment, can understand the destination when an earthquake or tsunami occurs. Participants can take part in the simulation while singing. The hope after getting the right understanding can be transmitted to other friends, as well as family and society in general. There needs to be broader socialization to other students given the threat of tsunami threatening in three schools. Socialization is in the form of posting posters / images about the types of hazards and efforts to save themselves in the event of a disaster.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya konservasi elang di Pulau Kotok, Taman Nasional Kepulauan Seribu. Pulau Kotok merupakan salah satu pulau yang berada pada gugusan Kepulauan Seribu. Terdapat penangkaran dan rehabilitasi elang bondol yang sudah langka di Pulau Kotok. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejarah program penyelamatan dan rehabilitasi elang bondol di pulau kotok, upaya konservasi dan rehabilitasi elang bondol, dan kondisi elang bondol di Pulau Kotok saat ini. Metode pengambilan data penelitian ini berupa metode deskriptif analitik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah elang bondol yang merupakan maskot kota DKI Jakarta saat ini sedang berada diambang kepunahan. Rehabilitasi elang tidak semudah yang kita bayangkan, karena dalam proses rehabilitasi tidak semua elang tersebut dapat dilepas liarkan kembali. Sudah seharusnya kita menumbuhkan kesadaran dan pemahaman akan pentingnya menjaga  pelestarian satwa Indonesia, salah satuya elang bondol.

Abstract

ABSTRACT : The purpose of this research is to propose the Study of Social Capital of the Community in the Adaptation of the Kaba Volcano Eruption Disaster, Sumber Urip Village, Kec. Selepu Rejang. Regency. Rejang Lebong. The type of research used is qualitative research, or the writing and behavior observed from the people (subjects) themselves. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation, then the data obtained are analyzed qualitatively to express the facts found in the field. The results of the research in the field are as follows: 1). Social Capital Studies Community is very related to the values, norms, social trust that collaborate in the environment, especially in the community tradition that produces local wisdom in the adaptation of the Kaba volcano eruption disaster. 2) The role of the government in disaster mitigation efforts in the form of periodic and measured training and simulations, coordination and cooperation in anticipation of facing disasters. 3) Preventive efforts in reducing disaster risk through local wisdom values ​​that are understood as social social capital. 4). Mitigation is generally interpreted as an action taken in minimizing the impact of disasters on both the loss of life, property that affects human life. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of teacher strategies in maintaining Sundanese Culture in West Java, at Senior High Schools in Region I West Java. The research method used was descriptive-qualitative with literature study. Data collection techniques were done through interviews, documentation, and examining secondary data as complementary data. The results showed that territory that were further away from the Priangan/Bandung area such as Depok City, and parts of Bogor Regency which bordered by Banten and Depok, has cultural acculturation and it was difficult to maintain Sundanese language, so that this region places great emphasis on Sundanese arts and traditional clothes. To instill a love “nyaah” or love of Sundanese culture, namely by implementing Sundanese art activity program strategies and competitions on Sundanese culture in schools by adjusting the language used in the area, namely Indonesian with the Betawinese dialect. Meanwhile for territory of closer Priangan/Bandung like the Sukabumi City, Bogor City, Cianjur Regency, Sukabumi Regency, and parts of Bogor Regency which border Cianjur-Sukabumi, there is no difficulty that the maintenance of Sundanese culture, because the majority of students in this region is the original Sundanese people. Yet these areas implement strategy in the use of language in accordance undak-usuk or origin of Sundanese language through a lesson and outside of a lesson, and focused on aspects art and Sundanese traditional clothes, with an implement strategy through activity program pasanggirikasundaan (competition on Sundanese) and art Sundanese at school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the benefits of teaching materials in the form of comics as social studies learning in geography content. The method used is descriptive method. The population in this study were students of SMPN 62 Jakarta and the research sample was students of class VII.5 totaling 37 students. The analysis technique in this study used an online questionnaire with a Likert scale and a gain test that was conducted to determine the level or magnitude of the influence of the use / utilization of comic media. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The results of the study were based on validation by comics experts and material experts which were declared fit for use as teaching materials in the social studies learning process with geographic content. The influence of the use of comics in social studies learning with geographic content can be seen from calculations through the gain test and the Likert scale. The results of the pretest and posttest which show the high category, namely 0.8 in the calculation of the gain test. Furthermore, through the calculation of the Likert scale, the percentage of respondents' answers shows that 80% is in the feasible category.

Abstract

Jakarta  memiliki potensi bencana  lingkungan diantaranya banjir, kebakaran, rob, kerusuhan social . Bidara cina Rawan dengan bencana banjir dan kebakaran Tujuan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan  siswa SD bidara Cina 05 dalam menghadapi bahaya banjir dan kebakaran Peningkatan pengetahuan dengan melakukakn sosialisasi dengan ceramah, penayangan video, tanya jawab  kepada siswa SD bidara Cina 05 berjumlah 30 orang.  Dilakukan pretest di awal kegiatan dan posttest dilakukan setelah acara sosialisasi selesai. Hasil yang diperoleh siswa mengalami kenaikan pengetahuan terutama untuk bencana kebakaran. Hasil perbandingan pretest dan post test terlihat indikator alat /bahan yang digunakan untuk memadamkan api kebakaran meningkat, sedangkan yang paling rendah peningkatan tindakan yang perlu dilakukan ketika banjir.Naiknya pengetahuan akan meningkatkan kewaspadaan.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir spasial yaitu kemampuan dalam memahami dan mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur permukaan bumi dengan menggunakan representasi berbagai informasi melalui media atau alat serta menganalisis secara keruangan. Kemampuan ini diperlukan dalam mempelajari ilmu geografi yang memiliki cara berpikir yang sama yaitu dengan berpikir secara ruang atau spasial. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan berpikir spasial peserta didik SMA Negeri 78 Jakarta khususnya pada kelas XI IPS yang berjumlah 71 orang. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan rumus Slovin yang menghasilkan sebanyak 60 orang. Metode penelitian yaitu deskriptif serta teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes melalui Google Form. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan menunjukkan tingkat kemampuan berpikir spasial peserta didik kelas XI IPS pada SMA Negeri 78 Jakarta berada pada tingkat sedang.
