Abstract

Up to now the mathematical ability of students is still relatively low. It is characterized from the low mathematics learning outcomes. Low ability students' mathematical understanding and abilities among students' mathematical problem solving so we need a model of learning that can improve both the mathematical ability. Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) is one type of cooperative learning is expected to increase both these capabilities. This type combines the advantages of cooperative learning and individual learning. This study aims to assess about increasing the understanding and solving mathematical problems high school students with TAI type of cooperative learning model. This study was an experiment that was true experimental research with a quantitative approach. Design research is pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was all tenth grade students in the academic year 2013/2014. The sample in this study was two classes, class X1 (control group) and class X2 (experiment group). Data collection was using the test. Data analysis was conducted to gain a score normalized using ANOVA. The results showed that: 1) increased understanding of the mathematical ability of students who obtained using TAI type of cooperative learning model better than students which gained overall in terms of conventional learning and student level (high, medium and low), 2) there was no interaction between learning model and student level (high, medium, and low) to increase the capability of understanding, 3) improving students' mathematical problem solving ability the learning gained by using TAI type of cooperative learning model better than students who received conventional learning was reviewed overall and student level (high, medium and low), and 4) there was interaction between the learning model and student level (high, medium, and low ) to increase problem-solving ability.

Abstract

Logika fuzzy adalah salah satu metode kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence) untuk menangani permasalahan ketidakpastian. Logika fuzzy telah diaplikasikan dalam berbagai bidang ilmu, termasuk bidang ekonomi dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aplikasi sistem fuzzy dalam mengklasifikasikan tingkat kemiskinan di Provinsi Aceh dan mengetahui persentase tingkat kemiskinannya menggunakan rancangan sistem fuzzy. Kemiskinan merupakan keterbatasan kemampuan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidup secara layak seperti keterbatasan dalam pendapatan, keterampilan, kondisi kesehatan, penguasaan aset ekonomi, ataupun akses informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode fuzzy mamdani yang difokuskan pada pengklasifikasian tingkat kemiskinan. Data yang digunakan merupakan data hasil Survey Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (Susenas) 2017 yang dilakukan oleh Badan Pusat Statistika (BPS). Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan 300 sampel adalah terdapat 54% rumah tangga dengan tingkat kemiskinan kategori Tidak Miskin, 21,7% rumah tangga dengan tingkat kemiskinan kategori Hampir Miskin, sedangkan 20,3% dan 4% masing-masing pada tingkat kemiskinan kategori Miskin dan Sangat Miskin.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease which is one of the biggest health problems in the world, including Indonesia. The government, through the National Tuberculosis Control program, has made various efforts to control tuberculosis. However, this problem was exacerbated by the dramatic increase in the incidence of tuberculosis. This study aimed to determine the Cox proportional hazard regression model and the factors that affect the cure rate of TB patients. We used medical record data for inpatient TB patients for the period July-December 2017 at dr. Zainoel Abidin Hospital. The results showed that with α = 0.1, the factors that influenced the recovery of TB patients were the type of cough, the symptoms of bloody cough and symptoms of sweating at night.  There were 33.93% of patients who did not work. This category included students, domestic helpers, and those who did not work until they suffered from tuberculosis and were treated at dr. Zainoel Abidin Hospital. The hazard ratio (failure ratio) showed that the tendency or cure rate for TB patients who did not experience cough symptoms was 70% greater than patients who experienced phlegm cough symptoms. The cure rate for TB patients who experienced coughing up blood symptoms was 53% greater than patients without these symptoms. The cure rate for TB patients who experienced  symptoms of sweating at night was 54% greater than patients who did not sweat at night.
