Individual-level factors play an essential role in enabling TB patients to manage their perceived needs and treatments to sustain the Quality of Life (QoL). Yet little is known about the relationships between individual-level factors and the QOL of TB patients in Indonesia. This study aimed to evaluate the association between individual-level factors (physical health, emotional state, social support, spirituality) and quality of life in TB patients. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted using a simple random sampling strategy, 73 TB patients were chosen based on their availability during data collection, and consent to participate in the study. The data were collected from a community sample of Surabaya City, East Java, Indonesia. In the present study, the following instruments were used: Early Warning Score System (EWSS), Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS)-21, MOS Social Support Survey-14, Daily Spiritual Experience Scale (DSES), and the World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHO-QoL). Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient was used to discover the association between variables. Results and Discussions: The results showed that there were significant relationships between physical health (p = 0.037), emotional state (p = 0.04), social support, spirituality and QoL (p = 0.001). Conclusion:In conclusion, individual-level factors associated with TB patients’ quality of life: physical health, emotional state, social support, and spirituality.

Currently the UKS programme has not been able to contribute optimally in an increasing the health of school-age children. This condition is caused due to the UKS programme planning have not been based on data and information related to health problems of school-age children. Constraints which cause yet the existence of the data and information of health problems that school age children recording and reporting system “paper based” incomplete data, and delivery information is not yet in the form of graphs or tables. The purpose of this research to develop a database application UKS primary school level. The scope of this research included implementation of the UKS Trias and recording system and reporting on team Implementing the UKS primary level. This type of research was Action Research. The subject of this research team on implementing the UKS primary level I/240 Sutorejo Surabaya. System analysis of the recording and reporting of the UKS SDN 1/240 Sutorejo found the problem that is the data source that is available only the fields of health care, so that analysis can not be based on Trias UKS. This research resulted in a prototype database of UKS developed based on the results of the analysis recording and reporting system progress on implementing team UKS SDN 1/240 Sutorejo. The prototype database UKS produces health education information, health services, and health coaching school environment that can be used for program planning UKS in managing teams and Puskesmas.. The use of the UKS data base is necessary among other supporting facilities maintenance management system that aims to let the uks programme sustainabilityas well as the monitoring and evaluation activities data base system. Keywords: database, school health program, recording and reporting system.

This research used observation method through cross sectional approach. The sampling method in this research was taken under the purposive sampling method with 245 respondents. The sample data was analyzed using the Chi Square statistical analysis to observe the effect of health facility offered and the easier accessibility given through the public satisfactory, who had been listed as BPJS participants. The result showed that the health facility did not give a significant difference with the p value of 0.197, while easier access was significantly different with the p value 0.000 < 0.005 through the BPJS PBPU participant satisfaction. The conclusion of this research was easier access had a significant effect through the BPJS PBPU satisfaction. It is also suggested to the government and BPJS Health Care for disuccsing further about the program along with the policy, as well as the quality service to increase the BPJS participant satisfaction, especially the BPJS PBPU satisfaction.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is currently ranked top among the various types of cancer that causes death in women in the world. The majority of women who diagnosed with cervical cancer did not do screening tests or did not follow up after abnormal results were found. The purpose of this research was to know how path analysis between motivation variable, self efficacy and trigger in the implementation of screening cervical cancer using Visual Inspection With Acetic Acid (VIA). This research used case control design. Sample size was based on the calculation of rule of the thumb. There were 410 respondents that were divided into 205 cases and 205 controls. The sample used multi stage random sampling method. The data were analyzed by using Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). There was a positive influence of trigger variable to self efficacy and motivation variable. There was positive influence of self efficacy variable toward motivation variable and the implementation of early detection of cervical cancer VIA. There was a positive influence of self efficacy variable and motivation to the execution of early detection of cervical cancer VIA. There was an indirect effect of trigger on the implementation of early detection of cervical cancer VIA. Abstract

The Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) is one of the methods to perform cervical cancer test by applying acetic acid. The huge number of cervical cancer cases in Indonesia has worsened because more than 80% of the cases that have been brought to hospitals were already in an advanced stage. The aim of the research is to analyse the variable influence: projection, self efficacy and intention toward the decision to perform early detection of cervical cancer with the VIA test. The research design was cross sectional. The population were women of childbearing age in Pematangsiantar and the samples size were 245 respondents selected by multistage random sampling. The variables were projection, self efficacy intention and decision. The statistical analysis was Structural Equation Modelling. The results of the study were: 1) self efficacy affects intention (p= 0.000), 2) projection affects intention (p= 0.000), 3) intention affects decision (p= 0.000). The models of projection, self efficacy and intention take effect on the decision to perform early detection of cervical cancer with the VIA.
