Abstract

In vaname shrimp cultivation system, bacterial disease is a problem that often arises that mainly caused by the bacteria Vibrio sp. Sinbiotic application is one way to prevent disruption of the disease. Sinbiotic is nutritional supplements that made from the combination of probiotic and prebiotic that can provide beneficial effects to the host. This research uses a local sinbiotic of probiotic bacteria Bacillus sp. D2.2, which comes from the traditional ponds in the Mulyosari village, Pasir Sakti district, Lampung Timur Regency, Lampung. Prebiotic that used in this research made from meal extracts of purple sweet potato that had the best capability to support the growth of bacteria probiotic Bacillus sp. D2.2. This research aims to know the effectivity of sinbiotic against the infection of vibriosis againts to vaname shrimp by doing analysis of clinical symptoms and tissue damage post test challenge using bacteria Vibrio harveyi. The results showed that addition sinbiotic gave effect to SR 6,25 %, MTD 13,80 hour, and clinical symptoms and then tissue damage is lower than without the feeding of sinbiotik.

Abstract

Tiger Grouper is one of the sea water fish commodities that is quite popular with the community and has a high economic value. The problem faced by farmers is the attack of Vibriosis, one of which is caused by the Vibrio alginolyticus bacteria. The use of synthetic antibiotics has been widely used but has many adverse effects, so it needs new alternatives for the treatment of Vibriosis disease. One of them is by using the extract of lifelong leaf extract. Life-sustaining plants (Gynura procumbens) contain secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, tannins, and antibacterial saponins. This study aims to determine the best dosage of lifelong leaf extract for the treatment of Vibriosis disease in tiger grouper. The study was conducted in two stages, namely in vitro and in vivo. Before the fish were treated with feed that had been given a sambung deca leaf extract, the fish were challenged using Vibrio alginolyticus with a density of 108 CFU / mL as much as 0.1 mL / head and then fed with treatment and maintained for 21 days. The results of the in vitro study showed that the life of sambung leaf extract at a dose of 700 ppm had a broad inhibitory effect on V. alginolyticus, which amounted to 10.47 mm compared to other treatments. Whereas when continued for in vivo testing, a dose of 350 ppm in general has been applied for the treatment of attacks of Vibrio alginolyticus in tiger grouper.

Abstract

Artemia sp. is a common natural feed for shrimps at the post-larvae stage and is characterized by poor lipid content. Therefore, Artemia is commonly enriched with specific nutrition, including biofloc. This contains some useful nutrients in the form of protein and polyhydroxy butyrate (PHB). The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of Artemia enriched with biofloc on the growth performance of black tiger shrimp, P. Monodon, and whiteleg shrimp P. vannamei. This research used acompletely randomized design (CRD), encompassing three treatments of feed and four replications. The tested treatments include: (a) Artemia sp. without enriched (b) Artemia enriched with biofloc, and (c) biofloc without Artemia, and the treatments were fed on black tiger as well as whiteleg shrimp post-larvae for 15 days. The results showed the significant effect of using  Artemia sp. enriched with biofloc on the growth of P. monodon and P. vannamei, but not on the survival rate. However, both parameters were significantly influenced for post-larvae shrimp at a dose of 30 mL biofloc. This served as a nutritional source by providing the best growth of 14.57 mg and 15 mg at a daily growth and survival rate of 0.86 mg day-1: 98% and 1.4 mg day-1: 99% for P. vannamei and P. monodon, respectively.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah education is an Islamic da'wah movement that from the beginning voiced anti-Tahayul Bid'ah and Churafat, which is commonly abbreviated as TBC, to be the main pioneer in inviting Muslims to only return to the Koran and Sunnah in matters of faith and worship. By keeping away from heretical practices of worship or acts of worship that are not religiously guided. In the case of Muhammadiyah, it uses the anti-bid'ah paradigm by defining bid'ah in all worship activities that require the kaifiat kaifiat as separate. That Bid'ah is a pattern and procedure that resembles the guidance of the Shari'a with the intention of worshiping Allah excessively, or pursuing excessive obedience and obedience and without guidance from Allah and His Messenger, that is what Muhammadiyah sees as heresy.

Abstract

The low productivity during extensive culture of tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) may caused by disability to environmental adaptation of shrimp during cultured period. Nursery system build up to minimize this constrains and enhances shrimp growth, quality and variation in natural pond system. Nursery system is cultured method to take care shrimp during post larvae to juvenile size within 14 days. The objective of this research is to measure the growth and the quality of post larvae shrimp during nursery system at different density which is 750; 1250; 1750 and 2250 shrimps/m2, respectively. The observation of juvenile quality was done to observe the digestive tract, weight variation, necrosis and parasite fouling. In the other side, growth observation was observed by the total length and the body weight. The result showedgrowth and quality of shrimp significantly differentwithin different density. In contrast survival rate of shrimp in differeny density not significantly different. The density of 750 shrimp/m2during nursery system in extensive  shrimp culture showed optimum in growth and quality.Shrimp production rose optimum size at 2250 shrimp/m2. The simulation of economic analysis  of shrimp production showed benefit to farmer in 1750 shrimp/m2 of density. This study support shrimp production in traditional method may increase with nursery system  and additional feed in short period (2 weeks).
