Abstract

SD Bustanul Ulum Semen Padang is located on Jl. Komp. Kuranji Batu Busuk Hydropower Kel.Lambung bukit kec. Pauh. Training given to teachers and students of SD Bustanul Ulum (BU) Semen Padang to make a mini hydroponic installation so that the existing green house can be organized and can develop plant seeds. As well as fostering the spirit of elementary school students bu to care more about the environment early. And provide knowledge about vegetable cultivation techniques, organic nurseries with hydroponic systems. Training on making hydroponic installations in the school green house teaches school students can cultivate a variety of plants to green the school sd BU Semen Padang. This program has been started since SD BU Semen Padang obtained an independent adiwiyata tropy at the national level and SD BU strives to improve the quality as a school that cares & cultures the environment for the proposal of Asean Eco School candidates from 21 provinces throughout Indonesia. Solutions offered to solve the problems that occur in SD Bustanul Ulum Semen Padang by providing mini hydroponic equipment assistance, training in assembling mini hydroponic installations and providing knowledge about using the correct hydroponic equipment so that the needs of plant nurseries in the green house of SD Bustanul Ulum Semen Padang can help the stability of greening the school

Abstract

Lignin is one of the most abundant biopolymer on earth. It has polar and non-polar side due to its hyperbranched structure, but the polarity of lignin has a higher tendency than non-polarity. Lignin has potential to be compatibilizer if the portion of non-polar can be increased. This research is focused on investigate the synthesis of lignin-based polyurethane to enhance the portion of non-polarity in lignin. Lignin-based polyurethane was prepared by reacting variation 4,4'-Methylenebis(cyclohexyl isocyanate) (HMDI) and polyethylene glycol (PEG), then lignin was added to the reaction. In this study, the structure of lignin-based polyurethane was confirmed by NMR and FTIR. NMR and FTIR showed that lignin successfully grafted. NMR, also used to investigate the variation molar mass of PEG and isocyanate contents effects to polarity of lignin-based polyurethane. The polarity of lignin-based polyurethane decrease as the composition of HMDI and molecular weight of PEG increase. This result also occurs on the sessile drop test that used to determine surface tension of lignin-based polyurethane. The thermal properties of lignin-based polyurethane also investigate using STA. Based on STA, enhancement of composition of HMDI and PEG increase thermal degradation and resistance of lignin-based polyurethane.

Abstract

Solok Selatan is already known as an area that has potential precious metal, Gold. Local mining scale can be found on site certain areas in Abai Region, especially in the North, which was previously believed to exist the presence of these minerals. Based on the consideration of associated mineral associations gold, of course the presence of other precious metals deserves further investigation such as Copper (Cu), Silver (Ag), Lead (Pb), Zinc (Zn) and Titanium (Ti). Exploration activities and geochemical analysis need to be carried out to determine the characteristics of the associated metallic minerals of Gold in Abai Region. A series of explorations carried out with a direct mapping mechanism to determine the topography, morphology, local geology, distribution of lithology and type of gold deposit. The collected samples will be tested in a chemical laboratory to determine gold content, chemical composition, and other metallic minerals. This research is expected to be able to answer the characteristics of the material (mineral) based on the geochemistry of precious metal compounds and can recommend better management in the presence of other precious metals.

Abstract

Sistem informasi merupakan sebuah wadah yang efektif dan praktis dalam menyebarkan informasi, literasi dan modul pembelajaran terutama di sektor pendidikan. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada pencarian internet mengenai literasi di bidang teknik mesin maka banyak sekali informasi yang ditampilkan, namun informasi ini kebanyakan hanya berdasarkan asumsi tanpa dilakukan pengujian secara ilmiah, tentu hal ini dapat menyesatkan para siswa dan guru dalam mencari literasi dibidang teknik mesin. Perancangan sistem informasi MGMP SMK teknik mesin kota Padang berupaya menciptakan sebuah sitem informasi terpusat yang kredibel, sesuai standar bahan ajar, dan sesuai hasil pengujian ilmiah untuk seluruh anggota  MGMP SMK teknik mesin sekota Padang. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah merancang sebuah sistem informasi untuk MGMP SMK teknik mesin kota Padang serta  memberikan pelatihan bagaimana cara mengoperasikan sistem informasi MGMP berbasis website dengan menggunakan metode sosialisasi dan demonstrasi langsung kepada anggota MGMP SMK teknik mesin sekota Padang yang dilakukan di SMKN 1 Sumbar. Hasil pengabdian ini berjalan dengan baik hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil evaluasi angket yang dilakukan yaitu hampir 100% peserta sosialisasi menyatakan SS (Sangat Setuju) dan jumlah trafik  website pada bulan pertama sebayak  90 tampilan dan 59 pengunjung

Abstract

Jorong Balai Gadang Nagari Sungayang Kabupaten Tanah Datar Provinsi Sumatera Barat memiliki bank sampah yang sudah lama dibangun oleh masyarakat, namun saat ini kondisi bank sampah tersebut dalam kondisi terbengkalai dan membutuhkan bantuan alat berat untuk perbaikannya. Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memperbaiki dan merenovasi bank sampah di Jorong Balai Gadang agar lebih tertata dan dapat digunakan dengan layak sebagaimana mestinya. Kegiatan dilakukan pada 30 Agustus 2023 di Jorong Balai Gadang Nagari Sungayang Kabupaten Tanah Datar Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dengan cara survey, diskusi dengan jorong serta masyarakat, pengadaan alat berat mini Excavator untuk renovasi bank sampah, proses pengerjaan renovasi, pembersihan jalan menuju lokasi bank sampah, serta pembuatan palang penanda tempat bank sampah. Adapun hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah kemudahan akses jalan menuju bank sampah dan lebih tertatanya bank sampah sehingga masyarakat bisa menggunakan kembali bank sampah ini dengan lebih maksimal.
