Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of self-help instructors in developing minapadi cultivation in Nogotirto Village. Agriculture is the main sector that still dominatesthe livelihoods of the Indonesian population. Agricultural innovation is very necessary to improve the quality and quantity of agricultural products. The results showed that Sawadaya Extension was able to provide innovative breakthroughs to provide solutions to problems that are often faced by farmers through cultivation of Minapadi. Self-helpinstructors in Latency (Maintenance Pattern) to maintain a system can run according to its structural functions. So, it has become a joint task in a working system in the SlemanMinapadi Community group and the Sleman Fishery Network Network (JMP) to maintain and maintain the patterns that are already very strong the role of self-supporting instructorsbecause it is part of the functional structural system in the group that is.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini bertujuan mengembangkan produksi jamu dalam upaya meningkatkan imunitas tubuh dalam masa pandemi covid-19, kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan mensosialisasikan berbagai bahan jamu yang sudah diolah menjadi sirup oleh fasilitator dari Rumah Atsiri kepada pengusaha  jamu di Nguter Sukoharjo. Terdapat beberapa bahan jamu seperti kunyit asam, jahe merah, temulawak, kayu manis, bunga lawang, kapulaga, pandan, dan adas.  Jamu menjadi salah satu obat tradisional yang direkomendasikan oleh Kementrian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia sebagai upaya pencegahan Covid-19. Sirup jamu yang dihasilkan antara lain sirup temulawak, sirup kunir, dan sirup jahe merah.  Metode yang dilakukan adalah sosialisasi pola hidup bersih dan sehat, serta  pelatihan pembuatan sirup jamu. Hasil dari pengabdian ini antara lain peserta memahami hidup bersih dan sehat dalam menghadapi masa pandemi, selain itu peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan untuk meramu jamu. Untuk menambah imunitas diperlukan ramuan tradisional yang diperoleh dari lingkungan sekitar. Kegiatan sosialisasi pembuatan sirup jamu dilaksanakan pada bulan juli 2021 di Cafe Pasar Jamu Nguter Kabupaten Sukoharjo.

Abstract

To reduce the maternal mortality rate, a health service program that ensures the good health of pregnant women is needed. Maternity Waiting Home (MWH) is a program to reduce maternal mortality. This program is implemented in various regions in Indonesia, and the one is in Wonogiri Regency. In its implementation, it is not uncommon to find obstacles that come from various parties. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to explain the Maternity Waiting Home (MWH) service and its distrust. This study seeks to explain the trust of various stakeholders, especially pregnant women, in the Maternity Waiting Home (MWH) service in Wonogiri Regency. Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and interviews were conducted to collect data by generating samples from various stakeholders. In reality, the Maternity Waiting Home (MWH) service in Wonogiri Regency experiences obstacles, especially from the trust of its users. Many pregnant women are unwilling to use the Maternity Waiting Home (MWH) service for several reasons. There is distrust in the service because of many factors. This study concludes that Maternity Waiting Home (MWH) service stakeholders in Wonogiri Regency should address and fix this important problem by intensifying socialization about the urgent of Maternity Waiting Home (MWH) service.

Abstract

Traditional game in modern era should be preserved because of many social values contained in it to create the child with social character, and in digital era, gadget has entrapped child into predisposition to play game individually and to forget traditional game. In this action research, the author along with community agent served as facilitator and child’s social group as main actor. Community agent included Lurah (Head of Village), Head of RW (citizens associations), Head of Family Welfare Program, Head of Karang Taruna (Youth Organization), and parents. The role of facilitation included motivator, facilitator, communicator, and dynamist. Child’s social group dynamic started with neighborhood-based formation phase, transition phase in the attempt of confirming the objective of commonness, norm establishing phase, mutual help, ended with achievement phase resulting in idea and creativity. Traditional game activity action involved preparing game equipment, introducing how to play and practice briefly. Traditional game activity action was conducted in 5 neighborhoods in Kelurahan Jebres. In activity action, traditional game served to trigger a behavior institutionalizing process. It means that it departed from behavior that then became habit, and finally created behavior pattern. This action research was ended up with community’s idea and creativity in holding a child traditional game festival. The child traditional game festival indicated the manifestation of social symbol meaning the return of traditional game to children in modern era.Keywords: traditional games, social group dynamics, children. AbstrakPermainan tradisional di era modern harus dilestarikan karena banyak nilai sosial yang terkandung di dalamnya untuk menciptakan anak yang berkarakter. Di era digital, gawai telah membuat anak cenderungan untuk bermain game secara individu dan melupakan permainan tradisional. Dalam penelitian tindakan ini, penulis bersama dengan agen komunitas bertindak sebagai fasilitator dan kelompok sosial anak sebagai aktor utama. Agen masyarakat termasuk Kepala Desa, Ketua Rukun Warga, Kepala Program Kesejahteraan Keluarga, Ketua Karang Taruna, dan orang tua. Peran fasilitasi termasuk motivator, fasilitator, komunikator, dan ahli dinamika. Dinamika kelompok sosial anak dimulai dengan fase pembentukan berbasis lingkungan, fase transisi dalam upaya mengkonfirmasi tujuan kesamaan, fase pembentukan norma, saling membantu, berakhir dengan fase pencapaian yang menghasilkan ide dan kreativitas. Aksi aktivitas permainan tradisional melibatkan persiapan peralatan permainan, memperkenalkan cara bermain dan berlatih sebentar. Aksi aktivitas permainan tradisional dilakukan di 5 lingkungan di Kelurahan Jebres. Dalam aksi aktivitas, permainan tradisional berfungsi untuk memicu proses pelembagaan perilaku. Ini berarti bahwa ia menyimpang dari perilaku yang kemudian menjadi kebiasaan, dan akhirnya menciptakan pola perilaku. Penelitian tindakan ini diakhiri dengan ide dan kreativitas masyarakat dalam mengadakan festival permainan tradisional anak. Festival permainan anak tradisional menunjukkan manifestasi simbol sosial yang berarti kembalinya permainan tradisional kepada anak-anak di era modern. Kata kunci : Permainan Tradisional, Dinamika Kelompok Sosial, Anak.

Abstract

The wedding party for the Javanese community is the main event from a series of the wedding events. The wedding reception was held twice in the Javanese community. The reception was held by female (bride) family and male (groom) family. Every event of the wedding has a different ceremonial procession. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of behavioral changes in the Javanese community in organizing wedding receptions or party and the factors which influence the organization of the wedding reception. The subject of this study is  Javanese society in Surakarta. This study was descriptive qualitative study and analyzed using behavioral sociological theory by BF Skinner and adapted theory by Robert K. Merton. The data collection in this study was used observation techniques involving 26 informants. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data analysis technique used was an interactive analysis technique that consists of three components. Those are  data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results of the study showed that there has been a change in the implementation of a traditional wedding reception in Javanese society. The changes are the result of the adjustment between the old traditions of Javanese culture and modern changes. The changes cannot be separated from the role of couple’s parents as organizers. The parent’s decisions in this event is a part of the parent's response from the surrounding influences. The adjustments in organizing the reception is due to several factors including the change of parents’s mindset, the influence of the environment and others. The changes of series of processions in the wedding ceremony is a proof that Javanese society always changes following the times.Keywords: Behavior Changes, Culture Wedding, Java Community, Wedding Reception.AbstrakPesta pernikahan untuk masyrakat Jawa adalah kegiatan utama dari rangkaian kegiatan pernikahan. Resepsi pernikahan diadakan sebanyak dua kali di masyarakat Jawa. Resepsi pernikahan dilakukan oleh keluarga pengantin wanita dan keluarga pengantin laki-laki. Setiap kegiatan dari pernikahan memiliki prosesi upacara yang berbeda. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan bentuk dari perubahan perilaku dalam masyarakat Jawa dalam mengorganisasi resepsi pernikahan atau pesta dan faktor yang mempengaruhi organisir resepsi pernikahan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Jawa di Surakarta. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori perilaku sosial dari B.F. Skinner dan teori adaptasi dari Robert K. Merton. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi meliputi 26 informan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari tiga komponen, yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perubahan dalam implementasi dari sebuah resepsi pernikahan yang tradisional di masyrakat Jawa. Perubahan tersebut merupakan hasil dari penyesuaian antara tradisi lama kebudayaan Jawa dan perubahan modern. Perubahan ini tidak dapat dilepaskan dari peran dari orangtua pengantin sebagai organisator. Keputusan orang tua dalam acara pernikahan adalah sebuah bentuk dari respon orang tua terhadap pengaruh sekitar. Penyesuaian dalam mengorganisasi resepsi terkait dengan beberapa faktor termasuk perubahan dari mindset orang tua, perubahan lingkungan dan yang lainya. Perubahan dari rangkaian prosesi dalam upacara pernikahan adalah bukti bahwa masyrakat Jawa selalu berubah dari waktu ke waktu.Kata Kunci: Perubahan Perilaku, Budaya Pernikahan, Masyarakat Jawa, Resepsi Pernikahan.

Abstract

In political communication, “blusukan” (impromptu visit) is called door to door campaign, in which candidates conduct face-to-face communication by visiting the people directly. This situation creates personal intimacy in the sense of there is no physical distance and formal protocolary distance. People can see the personality of their candidate leaders closely. This face-to-face communication meeting can be interpreted that the candidates "nguwongke" (humanizing), putting the people not onto the context of profit-loss-based rational relation (between the electorate and the elected), but putting them as partners inseparable from the successful candidate leader. This study is based on fieldwork in Surakarta during the mayor election, applied in-depth interviews with politicians. While in ancient times the leader conducted "blusukan" to know his people’s condition, “blusukan” during the campaign for Mayor Election is conducted to socialize or to introduce the couples to the people. Having known the candidates, people are expected to think of whether or not they will elect them.

Abstract

The government initiated a wellness and herbal tourism program, in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy with the Ministry of Health. This tourism cluster is prioritized because it has high impact in improving health, cultural and economic field. This type of tourism is considered would provide fresh air in the New normal situations that require people to remain side by side with the Covid-19 pandemic situation. The author examines concretely the marketing communication strategy of tourism stakeholders in developing the program to see how the establishment of wellness and herbal tourism based on local wisdom as an alternative in tourism industry, especially in the New normal era. The author uses a marketing communication strategy with the SOSTAC + 3Ms model of marketing communication analysis, which was popularized by PR. Smith. This theory is considered could describe the integrated marketing communication science in the tourism industry. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method, with an emphasis on the naturalistic inquiry paradigm. Direct interviews were conducted with competent primary sources who represent their fields. The results of this study describe the tourism stakeholders in Solo have been prepared for the development of the wellness and herbal tourism program, with a focus on the local wisdom of Solo's custom. However, the development and preparation of the wellness and herbal tourism program is deemed not optimal, because internal and external conditions are still hampered tourism business in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

The development of tourism objects in Beji cannot be separated from the role of the local Gapoktan. Gapoktan's main obstacle in promoting organic village tourism is the lack of knowledge about using social media. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the marketing communication strategy for Beji Makmur organic agrotourism by Gapoktan in increasing the number of visitors to Wonogiri. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive type. The informants interviewed were Gapoktan, PPL and visitors. The results of this study are Gapoktan as the manager in carrying out the marketing communication strategy for Organic Agrotourism in increasing the number of visitors including three marketing activities, namely first promotion, the second is personal selling and then the third is public relations activities

                                                                                                                                                      AbstractThe process of local elections is the right of every citizen to choose their leaders directly correspond running from an independent path to meet certain requirements. Concurrent local elections 2015 in Indonesia,  which is in North Central Timor  with a single candidate pair. Couples candidate election time carried out. This article is the result of research exploring: 1) analyzing the relationship between political communicator (single candidate pair) to the effects (voting behavior of society); 2) analyzing the relationship between the political message to the effect (voting behavior of society); 3) analyzing the relationship between media and interpersonal channels of the effect (voting behavior of society); 4) effects (voting behavior of society); As for the type of research is quantitative research with survey method. The study population was the whole community voters in District Kefamenanu City. The conclusions of the research and discussion is no relationship between political communicator with effect (voting behavior of society), there is a relationship between a political message to the effect, there is a relationship between are not have a relationship with the effects.AbstrakProses Pemilihan Kepala Daerah merupakan hak bagi setiap warga negara untuk memilih langsung pemimpinnya sesuai keyakinan dan penilaiannya terhadap calon yang diusulkan oleh masing-masing partai atau gabungan partai, atau yang mencalonkan diri dari jalur independen dengan memenuhi syarat tertentu. Pilkada serentak Tahun 2015 di Indonesia, salah satunya di Provinsi NTT, yaitu di Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara (TTU) dengan pasangan calon tunggal. Proses pilkada pasangan calon tunggal merupakan hal yang menarik karena sepanjang sejarah demokrasi dan sistem politik Indonesia baru pertama kali dilakukan. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang mengeksplorasi: 1) Menganalisis hubungan komunikator politik (pasangan calon tunggal) terhadap efek (perilaku memilih masyarakat); 2) Menganalisis hubungan pesan politik terhadap efek (perilaku memilih masyarakat); 3) Menganalisis hubungan media dan saluran interpersonal terhadap efek (perilaku memilih masyarakat); 4) Menganalisis hubungan model pendekatan sosiologis (agama yang dianut dan jenis pekerjaan) terhadap efek (perilaku memilih masyarakat); adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh masyarakat pemilih di Kecamatan Kota Kefamenanu. Adapun kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan adalah ada hubungan antara komunikator politik dengan efek (perilaku memilih masyarakat), ada hubungan antara pesan politik dengan efek, ada hubungan antara media dan saluran dengan efek, model pendekatan sosiologis (agama yang dianut dan jenis pekerjaan) tidak mempunyai hubungan dengan efek.Â
