Abstract

Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder that affects more than 21 million people worldwide. According to (Ministry of Health, 2013) the prevalence of severe mental disorders, such as schizophrenia, is 1.7 per 1000 residents or around 400,000 people. Schizophrenia is caused by multifactorial factors that are related to each other. The purpose of this study was to find out the factors associated with the incidence of mental disorders in H.AUD Hospital. Sulthan with Radja Bulukumba in 2018. This study uses Cross sectional design with a population of 554 people and a sample of 84 people. The sample used in this study is non probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. Based on statistical analysis using frequency distribution data The results of this study are based on the age of Schizophrenia sufferers more in adulthood, the sex of Schizophrenic patients is obtained by men as many as 40 people (50%), and women as many as 40 respondents (50%), Job Schizophrenia sufferers are more unemployed (82.5%) and those who work are 17.5%, the education level of Schizophrenics is higher in high school education (33.8%) and junior and PT education is equal to 13, 8%, The marital status of schizophrenics sufferers with mental disorders is more with marital status (61%), there are more conflicts in families with schizophrenia who do not have a family conflict (85%). Farewell events of Schizophrenia sufferers more than no parents (85%), Socio-economic status of schizophrenics in economic status less than 66 people (82.5%, Parenting schizophrenic parents democratic parenting 75 people or 93.8 %. It is expected that the results of this study may be used as scientific reading material in the library and can also be used as reference material that examines similar problems.

Abstract

Postoperative surgery and trauma are stressors that can cause physiological and psychological reactions to the patient. Psychological reactions in the form of anxiety usually arise in the preoperative stage when the patient anticipates surgery and at the postoperative stage because of pain and discomfort, changes in body image and bodily functions. Handling anxiety with spiritual aspects in the form of dzikir therapy is an effort to reduce anxiety levels in patients pre and post surgery. This study used a pre-experimental research design with a one group pre and posttest design study design. The sample of this study was 15 respondents in the experimental group taken by consecutive sampling method. The experimental group received a dzikir therapy 1 time treatment with a duration of 12 minutes. Data collection is done using a questionnaire sheet. Analysis of the data used in this study is univariate and bivariate by using a paired sample t test. The results of the analysis used a statistical test paired sample t test with a level of confidence (α = 0.05). Based on the results of this test, the p value is 0,000, thus p <α (0,000 <0,05). The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of giving dzikir therapy to the level of anxiety in patients pre and post surgery. Researchers suggest that the results of this study can be used as a reference for application in the scope of nursing services, especially handling anxiety.

Abstract

Anemia in pregnant women is a health problem in Indonesia because the prevalence is quite high. Poor nutritional needs in pregnant women can cause anemia in pregnant women which can cause bleeding. Of the several Puskesmas especially Tanete Puskesmas in Bulukumba District the highest level of anemia was 35% or of the 268 pregnant women examined, 94 pregnant women had anemia. The population in this study was anemic pregnant women who had a pregnancy check-up at Tanete Puskesmas, Bulukumpa District, Bulukumba Regency, as many as 80 people. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of nutritional intake with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the Tanete Health Center, Bulukumpa District, Bulukumba Regency. This type of research is a quantitative analytic study with a "cross-sectional" approach. The sample of this study was 44 respondents who were given questionnaire sheets related to nutrition intake during pregnancy and observations related to the incidence of anemia. Data analysis in this study used the chi-square statistical test and Spearman correlation). The results of the analysis used a chi-square statistical test with a confidence level (α = 0.05). Based on the results of this test, the p-value is 0.027, thus p <α (0.001 <0.05), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. And the results of the test using the Spearman correlation obtained an r-value of 0.274 where the closeness of the relationship of nutritional intake with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women is in the medium category. This study concludes that there is a relationship between nutritional intake and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in Tanete Health Center, Bulukumpa Regency, Bulukumba in 2015. Researchers suggest that this research can be used as a reference for health workers to pay more attention to nutrition in pregnant women to prevent the occurrence of anemia.

Abstract

Stress is a physical and psychological reaction to any demands that cause tension and disturb the stability of everyday life. Most people experiencing stress are prisoners. The number of fostered residents in South Sulawesi Province in 2018 was 10,286 including 336 fostered residents in Lapas Bulukumba. If this stress lasts a long time, it can have an impact on one's body. Therefore, prevention efforts to deal with stress, are given spiritual support. This study aims to determine the relationship between spiritual support and stress levels in prisoners with drug cases in Class II A Penitentiary in Bulukumba in 2019. The method of research is using research analytic, with design cross-sectional. The population in this study is prisoners with drug cases. The samples in the study have amounted to 47 respondents with the technique of taking samples using methods of Consecutive sampling. Retrieval of data is done by using a sheet questionnaire on the support of the spiritual and the DASS 42 ( Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale 42 ). Analysis of the data used by using the Chi-Square test. In research, it obtained results that support spiritual support to the category of less stress over lots of 21 respondents (87.5%) compared with the stress of three respondents (12.5%). While the support of spirituality does not support the category of stress as much as 23 respondents (100%). Based on the analysis that has been done by using test Chi-Square, the obtained value p-value = 0.000 (p < 0.05 ). There is a relationship of support spiritual with the level of stress on inmates at the Institute of Corrections Class II A Bulukumba. It is recommended to prison staff and health workers in prison to always pay attention to the mental health conditions of inmates. It is expected also on the respondents to increase the spiritual by way of multiplying follow the activities of the religious.

Abstract

The understanding of stroke grievance, exactly in the high-risk category (hypertension, atrial fibrillation, and other vascular cases and diabetes) needed to be shared. To know and detect the stroke happen, we could use the F-A-S-T method. The aim of this research was to know the effect of FAST method observation on the nurses' understanding of detecting early stroke disease in Desa Binaan KabupatenBulukumba.The populations of this research were all the nurses in Desa Binaan KabupatenBulukumba with 30 people. The sample of this research used all the total populations. The sampling technique was total sampling. This research was quantitative research with the pre experimental research design. The type of the test used was the Wilcoxon test in which the result of the pre-test was 27 respondents (90.0%) nurses' understanding in the low-level category and 0 respondents (0.0%) in the fair level of understanding while in the post-test, there were 13 (43.3%) respondents with the fair level of understanding and 9 respondents (30,0%) with the good level of understanding. The conclusion of this research was there was the effect of FAST method observation toward the nurses' understanding in detecting early stroke disease in Desa Binaan Kabupaten Bulukumba The suggestion for this research was the findings of this research could be a reference and improve the students' understanding, added information and input for all the medical staff to improve the quality of health services and the further research was needed.

Abstract

Nurses are health workers who dominate as a whole and as the first and longest established contact with customers (patients and families) so that they need serious attention from the hospital management. The job satisfaction of health workers can be influenced by the organizational climate. This study aims to determine the relationship of the organizational climate with the job satisfaction of nurses in the inpatient room of RSUD H. Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja, Bulukumba Regency. This research is an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional approach. Sampling was done by a stratified random sampling technique. The population in this study were nurses in the inpatient room of H.Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Hospital, Bulukumba Regency, as many as 218 people. The sample in this study was 87 people. The measuring instruments used were questionnaires and observations. Data analysis used with the Chi-Square test. The results of the respondents 'perceptions of the organizational climate are good categories with satisfied job satisfaction as many as 59 respondents (86.76%), and organizational climate of less categories with satisfied job satisfaction, namely 9 respondents (13.23%), while respondents' perceptions of organizational climate less categories with less satisfying job satisfaction as many as 15 respondents (78.94%), and less satisfied category job satisfaction, namely 4 respondents (21.05%). Based on the results of the analysis using the Chi-Square test statistic test obtained p-value <0.002 which indicates the existence of organizational climate relations with the job satisfaction of the nurses in the inpatient room of H. Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Hospital, Bulukumba District.

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis is a direct infectious disease caused by TB (Mycobacterium Tuberculosis) bacteria. The level of compliance with the use of pulmonary TB drugs is very important and requires a long time that is 6-8 months, because if treatment is not carried out regularly or is not compliant and does not correspond to the specified time then there will be resistance (resistance) of tuberculosis germs against drugs Widespread Anti Tuberculosis (OAT) or Multi Drugs Resistance (MDR). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between motivation, attitudes, the role of supervisors taking medication (PMO) in TB sufferers. The design of the study used an Analytical Observational design using the Cross-Sectional approach. The population in this study were all TB sufferers in Bulukumba District with a sampling technique using cluster sampling. The number of samples in this study were 60 respondents. Data were obtained through questionnaire sheets made by researchers to respondents. Data analysis used Fisher's alternative Chi-square Test, with significance level α = 0.05. The results of the data analysis show that the motivation variable p = 0.023, the attitude variable p = 0.012, and the role of the supervisor for taking medication (PMO) p = 0.017. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between motivation, attitude, the role of supervisors taking medication (PMO) with adherence to taking medication in TB patients in Bulukumba Regency.

Abstract

Based on information obtained from some students in 38 public elementary schools, Gattareng, researchers found that they lacked motivation and support from their parents, so their children were also less focused on studying at home and more playing with their friends. Learning motivation is one of the factors that influence student success in teaching and learning in school. This is because each student has a different motivation between students with one another. Parental support is a very important role and is very needed by children who can support the academic achievement of children in school, one form of parental support is to give attention and help in the problems in the field of education faced by children. This study aims to determine the relationship of parental support with learning motivation in class IV and V. This type of research is a quantitative analytic study with a cross-sectional approach. With a large sample of 45 respondents. The sampling technique using total sampling method. Data analysis using a chi-square test with p-value (0.05).The results showed that respondents who said that the support of parents in the support category were 25 respondents (55.6%) and those who did not support 20 respondents (44.4%). While learning motivation in the high category was 22 respondents (48.9%) and learning motivation in the low category was 23 respondents (51.1%). This means that there is a significant relationship between the relationship of parental support with motivation to learn (p = 0.001) at the 38th elementary school. The conclusion that there is a significant relationship between the relationship of parental support with motivation to learn in class IV and V in elementary school 38 Gattareng Bulukumba district. Suggestions that parents provide support to children to be motivated to learn and get high learning achievement.

Abstract

According to the WHO (World Health Organization) in 2009 it is estimated that 450 million people worldwide are considering mental problems, around 10% of adults who have mental disorders now and 25% of the population are expected to increasingly need help each year. Mental disorders account for 13% of all illnesses and will grow to 25% by 2030, mental disorders are also related to self-defense, more than 90% of one million cases of personal protection each year due to mental disorders. The purpose of this research is to know the hallucinatory relationship with the level of family difficulties of schizophrenic patients in H. A. Sulthan Regional Hospital. Dg Radja Regency of Bulukumba. Anxiety is a problem that is characterized by feelings that will occur in something that will happen excessively. The study design uses non-experiment using cross-sectional. The population and sample in this study were all the families of schizophrenic patients who received hallucinations that took treatment patients who received 52 people in the mental clinic of RSUD. H. A. Sulthan Dg. Radja, a sample of 34 people were taken using a consecutive sampling technique using a questionnaire and observation sheet. Mann-Whitney U test results obtained p-value = 0.006 (p-value <0.05). Vision hallucinations were 12 people (33.3%), auditory hallucinations were 22 people (61.1%), while 18 were increased (52.9), mild were 11 people (32.4%), and weight was considered as many as 5 people (14.7%). The conclusions in this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between schizophrenia patient research at H. A. Sulthan Regional Hospital Dg. Bulukumba District Radja. Lent to families to increase knowledge about hallucinations and how to care to improve the family level.

Abstract

Based on the results of routine examinations from clinic officers in correctional institutions found 20 people out of 178 suffer from mild anxiety levels, while 10 people. and 121 inmates 15% of prisoners have anxiety with a moderate anxiety level of 13 people. Looking at the phenomena based on interviews with 5 prisoners in Class II.A Penitentiary Institution. Bulukumba on February 2, 2017, stated that prisoners in Class II Penitentiary Bulukumba claimed to experience feeling depressed, beaten and disappointed at the beginning of their lives inside a prison. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of self-concept with the level of anxiety of prisoners in Class II. A Penitentiary. Bulukumba. This study uses an analytic observational design with a "cross-sectional" approach. The population is all prisoners in Class II. A Penitentiary as many as 178 inmates. The sample in this study was 64 respondents who were determined using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The results of the analysis using the Kolmogorov alternative test obtained p = 0.435 (α> 0.05), it can be concluded that there is no relationship between self-concept and the level of anxiety of prisoners in Penitentiary class II. A Bulukumba. The suggestion from the research is to the class II. A correctional institution Bulukumba is expected to be better prepared mentally and also provide programs related to the psychological treatment of prisoners.
