Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai dampak multidimensi Corona Virus Disease-2019 (Covid-19) di Uni Eropa. Uni Eropa sebagai rezim internasional yang paling stabil saat ini mendapatkan ujian dari mewabahnya Covid-19. Hal tersebut membuat kestabilan Uni Eropa menjadi terganggu. Dengan demikan artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang dampak Covid-19 di Uni Eropa pada sektor kesehatan, ekonomi, dan keamanan perbatasan negara. Adapun konsep yang digunakan adalah konsep rezim internasional yang diperdalam dengan desk study. Secara umum dampak dari pandemi Covid-19 di Uni Eropa terlihat dengan perlambatan pertumbuhan ekonomi di beberapa negara anggota pada triwulan I dan II, bahkan beberapa negara sudah masuk dalam kategori resesi. Korban Covid-19 terus bertambah membuat isu kesehatan semakin memburuk. Selain itu dampak lain yang terlihat adalah ketegangan yang disebabkan karena perbedaan kebijakan publik dari beberapa negara anggota seperti penutupan perbatasan antarnegara anggota. Hal kebijakan tersebut menyulitkan perpindahan barang, jasa, dan orang sehingga berdampak pada menurunnya ekonomi. Merespon hal tersebut, kerja sama dan kekompakan antarnegara Uni Eropa menjadi mutlak untuk mengatasi dampak multidimensi dari Covid-19, serta mempercepat pemulihan ekonomi yang tidak dapat dilakukan secara singkat menimbang perbedaan dampak dari Covid-19 pada masing-masing negara anggota sehingga tidak dapat ditangani dengan mekanisme yang serupa.    Kata Kunci: Covid-19, Uni Eropa, Resesi ekonomi, Aspek kesehatan, Aspek keamanan , Politik

Abstract

Recruitment is a vital process in the HR activity, especially within the context of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) where profitability is not the main requirement in the business context. This study specifically aims to examine and explain the effect of the recruitment and job design systems on employee competence and performance in one the largest SOEs in West Indonesia, one of the well known cement factory- PT. Semen Baturaja Indonesia. This research is an explanatory research that explains the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. The number of samples in this study, 200 employees in the production section of PT. Semen Baturaja. The data analysis used is Partial Least Square analysis with WarpPLS. The research findings show that the five proposed hypotheses are accepted which means there is a significant influence between the Recruitment System on Competence and Employee Performance, between Job Design on Competence and Employee Performance and between Competence and Employee Performance.

Abstract

This study determine the effect of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), education level and unemployment rate on the poverty in the South Sumatra Province in year of 2013 – 2018. The method uses panel data analysis using Eviews program with combination time-series data and cross-section data using panel data through fixed effects Model. The data obtained from the Central Statistic Bureau of Indonesia. The results showed that the GDP variable and the education level are negative and significant effect on poverty in the South Sumatra Province, the unemployment level is positive and significant effect on poverty in the South Sumatra. The information and the policy considerations related parties to improve the system of growth and development in the South Sumatra especially, and Indonesia in general.

Abstract

Pempek is a typical food Palembang and very popular. The much number of business competitions in the field of pempek requires the businesses need to improve the quality of service to become win the competition. This study aims to determine the effect of the dimensions of service quality on customer satisfaction pempek store in Palembang. This research was conducted at the store Pempek "CANDY" and store Pempek "SENTOSA". The both object of the study to be representative of the research object pempek food business. The focus of this research is to determine how much influence the quality of services consisting of the dimensions of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy for customer satisfaction. The indicators of variable tangible are facilities, equipment, decoration of the place and neatness employee clothing. The indicators of variable reliability are accuracy, timeliness, the same service and the nature of the employee sympathy to the consumer. The indicators variable responsiveness are fast service, accurate and clear information. The indicators of variable assurance are knowledge of employees about the products and the ability to foster a sense of consumer confidence. Lastly, the indicators of variable empathy are to know the needs and taste of concern to consumers. The sample of this study is 60 respondents. The technique of determining the sample was accidental sampling. The research data obtained by distributing questionnaires to consumers. Based on the results of this study note that the variables that significantly influence to customer satisfaction for business pempek in Palembang is variable tangible, responsiveness and empathy. There are two variables not significant, namely reliability and assurance variable. The results of this study recommend that to improve the quality of service to consumers conducted by pempek store in Palembang necessary improvements in terms of accuracy, timeliness, same service, sympathy for the consumer, employee knowledge about the products and growing consumer confidence.

Abstract

            The research is conducted to evaluate some illustration criteria about the eligibility of a business in UMKM Berkat as a partner of UPT Textile for confection division in Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan of South Sumatera based on financial aspect. Research methodology is used both of quantitative and qualitative research.  This analysis is required at least seen by Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C). Factors considered are the estimated investment, working capital, operating costs, maintenance and revenue forecasts The data were analyzed by reviewing the theory developed by R.A Supriyono (2010), Yacob Ibrahim (2009). There are five criterias in evaluating the eligibility of a business. The calculation by using those method which is Payback Period (PP), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Profitability Indeks (PI) dan Break Even Point (BEP). According to the result of businesseligibility analysis find that; Payback Period can returned the capital about three years and six months (3,24 years), Net Present Value obtained in a positive (+) value which is Rp.273.597.150, Internal Rate of Return is on 37% and 38%, Profitability Indeks is 2,28 and Break Even Point is Rp. 106.550 and 21 units. By the value of the results can be concluded that UMKM Berkat as as a partner of UPT Textile for confection division in Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan of South Sumatera is eligible established.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Kayu Agung Tax Office and aims to determine: a). An overview of employees' perceptions about cutting performance allowances; b). Description of employee performance and c). The effect of cutting performance allowances on employee performance. This research method uses a quantitative approach with the type of correlation. The variables in this study are the deduction of performance allowances as the independent variable (X) and employee performance as the dependent variable (Y). The population in this study were 82 employees with a sample of 54.9% (45 employees) who were taken using the proportional random sampling technique. The data collection technique used observation and documentation questionnaire techniques. The data obtained as a result of the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics which had previously been tested for analysis requirements. In this study, the results obtained: a) Employees' perceptions regarding the deduction of the performance allowance of the majority strongly agree; b) employee perceptions regarding employee performance, the majority agree; c) There is a significant positive effect between cutting performance allowances on employee performance. Therefore it is advisable to the leadership of the Kayu Agung Tax Office, presumably strive to maintain their performance and even further improve by providing training, briefing and checking work again.

Abstract

Indonesia`s intensively encouraging even better economic growth by the role of labor as one of the factors of production that will affect the high level of national income in terms of quality or quantity alone. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of labor, fiscal decentralization, and local income on the human development index mediated by the economic growth of urban and district areas in east java province in 2017-2021. The quantitative research method was applied in this research with Explanatory Research, which employs hypothesis testing to explain the correlation among independent and dependent variables. The population in this research was the City of East Java Province in the research period during the period 2017 – 2021. The determination of the number of samples used by researchers is by the census method. The data employed in this study is secondary data using panel data from 2017 – 2021. The analysis technique carried out is the Model Moderator Regression Analysis (MRA), with the help of SPSS version 26 application. This study concludes that the Labor variable has an influence on the Human Development Index, the Fiscal Decentralization variable has no effect on the Human Development Index, the Local Revenue variable has an influence on the Human Development Index, the Regional Economic Growth variable has no influence on the Human Development Index, the Labor variable has an influence on Regional Economic Growth, the variable Fiscal Decentralization has no effect on Regional Economic Growth, the Local Revenue variable has no influence on Regional Economic Growth, the Regional Economic Growth variable cannot mediate the influence of Labor on the Human Development Index, the Regional Economic Growth variable cannot mediate the effect of Fiscal Decentralization on the Human Development Index and Regional Economic Growth variables cannot mediate the effect of Local Revenue on the Human Development Index.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine and analyze the effects of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation on the performance of employees with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at PT. Alwi Assegaf Palembang. The number of respondents was 51 people. The data were collected using a questionnaire method with a Likert scale. They were examined and analyzed using the Smart-partial least square. Furthermore, the intrinsic motivation variable showed a significant positive influence on employee performance, but the extrinsic motivation variable did not have a significant influence on the performance of the employees. Job satisfaction was not an intervening influence between intrinsic motivation and employee performance and between extrinsic motivation and employee performance. The results showed that intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation had a significant positive effect on employee job satisfaction. The effect of the intrinsic motivation on the performance was significantly positive, while the extrinsic motivation was not significantly positive on the performance. In this study, job satisfaction was not an intervening variable between the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations on the performance. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi intrinsik dan motivasi ekstrinsik terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variable intervening pada PT. Alwi Assegaf Palembang. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 51 orang. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuisioner berupa pertanyaan dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Data dianalisis dengan smart-partial least square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi intrinsic dan motivasi ekstrinsik berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Pengaruh motivasi intrinsik terhadap kinerja adalah positif signifikan, sedangkan motivasi ekstrinsik menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja. Kepuasan kerja bukan merupakan variabel intervening antara motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik terhadap kinerja dalam penelitian ini.
