Abstract

Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) telah menunjukkan banyak bukti dalam kiprahnya di dunia pendidikan dan salah satu keistimewaan NAD adalah dalam bidang Pendidikan. Berabad-abad silam pendidikan di NAD, khususnya pendidikan Islam telah diterapkan dalam berbagai jalur, jenis, dan jenjang pendidikan. Pendidikan dayah merupakan primadona dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan di NAD sejak dahulu hingga kini, walau tetap dalam sistem pendidikan nasional. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Islam, dan NAD.     Aceh (NAD) has shown a lot of evidence in the action in the world of education and one of the privileges of NAD is in the field of Education. Centuries ago, education in Aceh, especially Islamic education has been implemented in a variety of channels, types, and levels of education. Boarding education is excellent in providing education in Aceh since the first until now, although still within the national education system. Keywords: Education, Islam, and NAD.

Abstract

Sebuah instansi tentu memiliki seorang pemimpin. Kepemimpinan seorang pemimpin dapat menentukan arah dan tujuan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan program, strategi, dan faktor hambatan kepemimpinan Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kota Banda Aceh dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian yaitu Kepala Dinas, Sekretaris, Kepala Sub Bagian, Kepala Bidang dan Kepala Seksi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa Program peningkatan kinerja pegawai yaitu penerapan SOP, memberikan keteladanan, memberikan kesempatan berdiskusi, mengadakan kegiatan seminar, pelatihan, etos kerja, semangat kerja, pencapaian target, dan kerjasama pegawai. Strategi yang diterapkan yaitu kepemimpinan bersifat situasional bagi pegawai yang komintmen kerjanya biasa, meningkatkan etos kerja, memotivasi para pegawai, menginstruksikan pegawai membuat worksheet, mengunjungi setiap pegawai dan mengajak diskusi, dan menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan demokrasi. Faktor yang menjadi hambatan yaitu keterbatasan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), pegawai kurang terampil, kurang pengetahuan dan penggunaan teknologi terbatas.

Abstract

In today's age of globalization, education is very important. The educational provisions that society has developed well enough is undeniable, and the community will be increasingly qualified and able to compete competitively, as well as an era of increasingly fierce and tougher competition in various corners of life's activities. This study aims to analyze the impact of satisfaction and workload on improving teachers’ performance. This study uses quantitative research methods and data collection techniques used as interviews and questionnaires. The audience in this study were all teachers in total 73 teachers. The analytical method was used to multiple linear regression. The simultaneous test results also show that the variables of job satisfaction and workload have a significant effect on the performance of teachers at SMKN 1 Banda Aceh by obtaining an F-count of 92.615. While F-table at the significant level α = 5% is 3.033. It shows, based on the statistical test F-count shows the F-count > F-table, with a probability level of 0.000. So, it can be concluded that satisfaction and workload have a positive influence on teacher performance.
