Abstract

Kartanegara Regency and Samarinda City East Kalimantan. From the results of the research and evaluation of the reclamation plan documents and RKTTL, as well as the reclamation implementation report, the Backfilling plan for 2017 is 35.80 Ha and is realized at 22.36 Ha, so that the percentage of success rates reaches 62,46%. The land management and land revegetation plan for 2017 is 62.12 Ha and is realized at 10.26 Ha, so that the percentage of success rate is 16.52%. Revegetation of PT BBE land for the last 3 (three) years from 2015-2017 with a plan of 165.17 Ha and realized as much as 129.05 Ha, resulting in a percentage of success rate of 78.13%, but when compared with the total realization of reclamation (land arrangement ) amounting to 109.06 Ha, realization of revegetation 129.05 Ha, then the success rate of revegetation of reclaimed land is 118.33%. This shows that PT BBE's commitment to environmental management is quite good. Based on the results of laboratory analysis, water quality at all outlet points of PT BBE compliance still meets environmental quality standards of pH 6-7 (BML 6-9). While the soil quality of top soil does not meet environmental quality standards (soil pH 3.68). Based on the overall evaluation results, the percentage of successful reclamation implementation at PT BBE is 78.43% (categorized as moderate).

Abstract

Slope stability is the primary factor in designing a stable slope. The strength of the disposal slope relies on the characteristic of the dump materials. The rock shear strength denotes rock ability to withstand the burden, both constant and dynamic load. The weakest material used as a reference in designing the disposal slope is siltstone in Pulaubalang formation (location-04). The safety value in Location 04 and 02 tend to drop quickly as the inclination increase, while the safety in location 01 and 03 tend to fall slowly. This indicates that rocks with a lower plasticity index tend to be stronger in steeper slope conditions. The slope geometry was designed to be 10, 15, 20, and 25 meters high with a slope angle of 10o, 15o, 20o, 25o, 30o, 35o, 40o, 45o, 50o, 55o, and 60o. The slope geometry is considered stable and safe. However, this study suggests that the most effective slope design is the slope with 25 meters high, overall slope of 25,3o; the single slope of 35o; berm width 4,66 meters, bench height of 5 meters, with the safety factor value of 4.30 (SF= 4.30).

Abstract

Several coal companies apply a minimum target of coal recovery. Coal recovery is a comparison between the actual tonnage of coal production based on the data from the weighbridge and the coal tonnage as a result of survey measurements expressed as a percentage. The greater the coal recovery more effective the coal was mined. Loss of coal during the mining process was unavoidable. However, if the cause is known in detail, the amount of loss can be minimized by making efforts to repair the existing causes and can increase the value of coal recovery and the utilization of coal reserves owned by the company. There are 30 coal mining data. 19 of them still had a coal recovery below 96% with a total tonnage loss of 1.485,97 tonnes. There are 6 activity criteria that cause coal recovery, including the coal getting less than optimal and still leaves coal on front which accounts for 47,45% of the total loss, coal used as road coating accounts for 5,67%, survey measurement data is less representative the appearance of coal shapes accounted for 2,48%, errors naming on coal haulage coupons accounted for 9,77%, waterlogged fronts accounted for 29,64%, and recleaning accounted for 5,01% of the total tonnage loss.

Abstract

Common problems in mining activities of PT. RPP Contractors Indonesia is a non-compliance with the realization of the mining plan. This discrepancy was discovered after reconciling the mining progress map with the draft mining plan at the end of June 2022. This research is very important by synchronizing the realization of the plan at the end of the month. The aim is to determine the form of non-conformance, calculate the volume of non-conformance, and analyze the factors causing the non-conformance to the plan. The research method used is to synchronize work orders between the owner and the contractor by reconciling the actual data in the field with the mine plan design and scheduling the digging and loading equipment so that it shows the percentage of the suitability of the plan with the actual. The results showed that the achievement for overburden stripping was 70% consisting of 60% on design, 10% overcut, and 40% undercut. The factors causing the failure are the number of units and the placement of the fleet, unit productivity, and supervision.

Abstract

The grade or slope of the road in a mining activity is certainly unavoidable. In addition to naturally following topographical contours, the shape of the mining pit is carried out from a high elevation leading to the lowest elevation following the slope level and the continuity of the excavation material makes the road should be made sloping. The high or low value of the road grade in addition to affecting the speed and travel time required by the unit, of course, also affects the level of fuel consumption. PT. Pamapersada Nusantara uses a conveyance unit with the HD Komatsu 785-7 type to move overburden material. Based on the results of the analysis, in the loaded condition, grade 2% uses 0.45 liters of fuel, 5% grades 0.77 liters, 6% grades 0.89 liters, 8% grades 1.09 liters and grades . While in the unloaded condition, grade 2% uses 0.19 liters of fuel, 5% grades 0.35 liters, 6% grades 0.4 liters, 8% grades 0.47 liters and 9% grades 0. 52 liters.

Abstract

Scale effect testing on rocks is carried out with the aim of knowing the strength of a rock based on different dimensions. This test was carried out using a uniaxial compressive strength test and also testing the physical properties of rocks. In the rock compressive strength test used 5 dimensions of rock samples with a H/W ratio of which are 4.5/3, 6/3, 7.5/3 for dimensions of 3 cm, 5.25/3.5, 7 /3.5, 8.75/3.5 for dimensions 3.5 cm, 6/4, 8/4, 10/4, for dimensions 4 cm, 6.75/4.5, 9/4.5, 11.25/4,5 cm for the 4.5 cm dimension and for the 5 cm dimension, namely 7.5/5, 10/5 and 12.5/5. Physical properties testing is carried out to determine the porosity value in the test rock samples, which will then be compared between the porosity values and the results of the compressive strength test of rock samples. Physical properties testing carried out obtained the average value of rock porosity, namely 22.562%, 22.122%, 20.454%, 21.227%, and 22.413%. In the scale effect test, it is known that the higher the rock sample, the smaller the value of the rock strength can be seen based on the R2 value obtained in the Balikpapan Formation, which is 0.0548.
