Abstract

The advancement of educational technology necessitates the use of technologically qualified learning media. Video-based learning is one of the learning tools that can help to create an engaging and enjoyable learning environment. This study aimed to develop a video learning media product for patient safety and virtual educational learning. The research design adapts the ADDIE development paradigm, which stands for Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation, to apply the Research and Development technique. Material and media expert validation was carried out during the development stage by testing the instrument's usability. The trial was carried out by 124 students to see how they reacted as users. According to media and material specialists, video learning medium is valid and appropriate for use in virtual patient safety courses. The average value of 3.79 for user response to video learning medium indicates that there is a high level of interest in learning through the use of video. User response to video learning media by looking at learning interest with an average value of 3.79 means that there is a good interest in learning by using video media to be used in patient safety learning in virtual education. The use of engaging learning media such as films can boost student interest in learning and help them attain skills, which is especially important in virtual patient safety training. It is envisaged that the development can be completed at the evaluation stage, but it will need to be upgraded in order to present an actual simulation that students can understand.

Abstract

Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disease caused by a decrease in the amount of dopamine in the brain that plays a role in controlling movement due to damage to nerve cells in the Substantia Nigra Pars compacta (SNc) in the brain stem and abnormal protein aggregation in the form of Lewy bodies, which contain -synuclein. Parkinson's disease is characterized by the presence of dominant motor symptoms in the form of tremor at rest, rigidity, bradykinesia, and loss of postural reflexes. Physical rehabilitation can generally be used in patients with Parkinson's disease to improve health and relieve symptoms. Aerobic exercise is believed to promote fitness in Parkinson's patients and improve motor function in the elderly with Parkinson's disease. The purpose of this literature review is to determine the effectiveness of providing aerobic exercise in improving motor function in the elderly with Parkinson's disease. The implementation strategy uses a literature review technique obtained through an online search process on related research journals that have existed previously. The search was carried out through the PubMed database. Giving aerobic exercise is effective in improving motor function in the elderly with Parkinson's disease.

Abstract

Patient safety is an important component in care and measures to improve the quality of service quality. The strategy of implementing patient safety has been carried out with various efforts in the hospital environment. The highest number of patient safety data by province in Banten is 125 reports, and Jakarta is 105 reports. This study aimed to determine factor-factors related to the behavior of the application of patient safetyto the nursein the Emergency Room Installation of RSUD dr. Dradjat Prawiranegara in 2018.The study design was cross sectional in which the samples were taken by total sampling method. The study population was nurses in the emergency room of RSUD dr. Dradjat Prawiranegara Serang numbered 37 people. Data collection using a questionnaire. Univariate research results showed that of 37 respondents 30 respondents (81.1%) had a good level of knowledge, 21 respondents (56.8%) had positive attitudes, 30 respondents (81.1%) had years of service≥5 years, and 20 respondents (54.1%) have good behavior. Bivariate analysis results show that there is a significant relationship between knowledge(P value = 0.002), attitude (P value = 0.003) and work period ≥5 years (P value = 0.027) with the application of patient safety behavior to nurses. Researchers expect that the hospital able to refresh the application of patient safety to all nurses on a regular basis every six months.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which toddlers have less length or height compared to age. Stunting can affect physical growth, motor development, and motor activity. Children who experience motor skills are caused by obstacles to the muscle maturity process so that muscle ability is reduced. Many studies say there is a link between cognitive and motor development. Objective: To study the effect of stunting against cognitive and motor development in children toddlers. This study is a systematic review of the literature. The inclusion criteria for search studies were quantitative research, free full text, Indonesian, or English. Selection of published articles with a range of 2015-2020 and free full text, after reading the title of the article and looking at the inclusion criteria, then it is re-selected by looking at the sample criteria based on age and development, and an assessment is carried out using the JBI format. There is a stunning effect on the cognitive and motor development of children ages toddler. The results of the study stated that children who were stunted had an 11.98 times greater chance of having motor development below average. As well as the mild stunting category with cognitive development suspect there is a delay in toddlers, namely not being able to mention the type of color, differentiating the size of the object, mentioning gender, pairing known images. While the moderate stunting category with cognitive development suspect or experiencing delays can result in reduced brain cells by 15-20 percent. Toddlers who experience the severe stunting category with cognitive development suspect there is a delay, marked by slow maturity of nerve cells, slow motor movements, lack of intelligence, and slow social response. Stunting affects cognitive and motor development in children toddlers. Some of the impacts that arise are memory decline, inaccuracy in storing objects, delays in verbal and non-verbal, and delays in thinking.

Abstract

Aims : The development of science and technology encourages the learning process to be more applicable and interesting as an effort to improve the quality of education. The use of edugame as an evaluation of learning by students is the right solution. The purpose of the study was to identify student experiences in using V-Qita Edugame in patient safety learning. Designs:This research is a quantitative research using descriptive method through a cross-sectional approach. Methods:The population in this study were 60 students of STIKep PPNI West Java. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with random sampling. Collecting data using a user experience questionnaire (UEQ). The questionnaire was adapted from the research of Laugwitz et al. This questionnaire contains 26 items that represent the 6 factors that will be analyzed to evaluate the user experience, namely attractiveness, efficiency, perspicuity, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. Results : The five user experience subvariables show an average value close to the maximum value so that it is stated that the user's response is positive to the use of edugame as a form of evaluation in patient safety learning. Stimulation is an experiential subvariable that emphasizes that users find edugames fun and motivating. Conclusions:The students' experience in using V-Qita Edugame is at an average value of 4.62, meaning that the student response in using Edugame as a positive learning evaluation. Stimulus got the highest value compared to other subvariables. experiences that emphasize users find SAP enjoyable and motivate users to use it.

Abstract

Stroke rehabilitation is a long and complicated process that the majority of rehabilitation to be completed once the patient returns home (community-based stroke rehabilitation). A caregiver supports a stroke survivor in performing daily activities. Because of that responsibilities, caregiver feels physically and psychologically drained. The aim of this study was to find out the effects of psychoeducation on stroke patients' caregiver burden. The study used a purposive random sample technique with a total of 34 respondents to perform a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design of two groups pre- and post-test in July 2021 in West Java. Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI) questionnaires were used to collect data of caregiving burden. The results of this study indicate that there was a significant difference between the intervention and control groups using the paired t-test (p=0.002) and a significant effect value utilizing the ANCOVA test (p=0.000). The Conclusion are Psychoeducation has a considerable impact on stroke patients' caregiver burden. In caring for stroke patients at home, a nurse can provide psychoeducation and caregiver supplies.
