Abstract

Adolescence is closely related to psychological development in the pubertal period and is accompanied by sexual development. Adolescence is an age that is experiencing increased vulnerability to various health risk threats, especially those related to sexual and reproductive health, including the increased threat from HIV/AIDS. HIV/AIDS is one of the biggest problems for health workers and other care providers. People with HIV/AIDS do not only experience physical suffering due to the disease process, but also psychosocial suffering. People with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) are often faced with complicated conditions to reveal or hide their disease condition. The purpose of this study is to describe the Life Experience of Adolescents with HIV/AIDS. This study uses the Qualitative Colaizzi analysis method with structured formal interviews with four adolescent participants diagnosed with HIV/AIDS who live in Bandung. Interviews were recorded and then made in the form of interview transcripts. There are 8 themes, namely: 1) Ignorance of the process, 2) Physical Symptoms, 3) Disease process, 4) Psychological impact, 5) Environmental response, 6) Economic impact, 7) Social support, 8) Participants' expectations. The results of the study reveal a variety of adolescent life experiences ranging from what they think, feel and experience after being diagnosed with HIV. The social support received by PLWHA is obtained from the family environment such as spouse, parents, friends, neighbors, group support, and health workers who are provided in the form of information support, social integrity, emotional, health services.

Abstract

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a disease characterized by mood or emotional, bodily, and behavioral symptoms of reproductive women that increase in the menstrual cycle during the luteal phase and disappear within a few days after menstruation. Approximately 50% - 80% of reproductive women suffer from PMS (approximately 3% to 8%) can cause severe mood swings, which interfere with their lifestyle and quality of life. Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) is an effective way to achieve a balance between the sympathetic and the parasympathetic nervous system so  reducing the impact of stress on the body. This study aim to evaluate effectivity of progressive muscle relaxation by mobile health to premenstrual syndrome in adolescent. A quantitative study using a Quasy-experimental with two Group Pre-Posttest design. Samples are 52 adolescents have experience PMS, have reguler menstrual cycle, are able to communicate well, can read and write, have cellphones/other communication tools, and willing be a respondent. Instruments using PSST for Screening of PMS and DRSP for evaluate PMS at experimental and control groups. Experimental Group given PMR by mobile health during 10 days. Bivariat analysis using Mann-Whitney test. The result of study found that grade of PMS at pretest was 15% mild, 38,5% Moderate and Severe among 48,5%. The Mann-Whitney value showed that there was a significant difference found between experimental and control group at level of p <0,001. This is reveals that there was a significant decrease to premenstrual syndrome in the experimental group after PMR. This study showed that there is a strong need for further reproductive health education. So there should be a regular service and health education programme on premenstrual syndrome and  progressive muscle relaxation or exercises at all hospitals or clinic and nurses or another caregivers have an important role to do it.

Abstract

Latar belakang:Penyakit HIV/AIDS (Human Immunodeficiency Virus/ Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) merupakan suatu penyakit yang terus berkembang dan menjadi masalah global. Permasalahan dalam pengobatan HIV/AIDS adalah ARV, di mana obat ini hanya untuk menekan replikasi virus, Penelitian klinik menunjukkan bahwa penderita yang mengikuti aturan pengobatan dan melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan dengan teratur, umumnya obat-obat akan bekerja dengan baik. Kenyataannya, beberapa dokter mengatakan bahwa hanya separuh pasiennya menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Salah satu faktor penting yang perlu diperhatikan adalalah kepatuhan pasien. Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien anak penderita HIV/AIDS. Metode:Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam. Data akan dianalisis menggunakan perspektif konstruksionis dengan asumsi memahami kenyataan melalui cerita, menerima pengalaman terjadi secara naratif, dan cerita berasal dari konstruksi dan persepsi peristiwa. Hasil: Hasil wawancara mendalam gambaran kepatuhan minum obat ARV pada anak dengan HIV/AIDS,  medapat  3 tema. Tema tersebut adalah alasan mengkonsumsi obat terus-menerus dipertanyakan, percaya atau believ terhadap efektifitas ARV. Dukungan keluarga. Kesimpulan:Setelah dilakukan proses wawancara mendalam kepada 4 partisipan didapatkan 3 tema,yaitu alasan mengkonsumsi obat terus-menerus dipertanyakan, percaya atau believ terhadap efektifitas ARV dan  Dukungan keluarga.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Anak usia sekolah sangat sensitif terhadap stimulus sehingga pada usia ini mudah diberikan bimbingan dan dibiasakan dengan perilaku hidup sehat. Rendahnya kesadaran dan kurangnya pengetahuan menyebabkan cuci tangan yang tidak benar banyak ditemukan pada anak-anak. Storytelling merupakan salah satu metode untuk menyampaikan pendidikan kesehatan dan mengembangkan aspek kognitif (pengetahuan), afektif (perasaan), sosial dan konatif (penghargaan) pada anak. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas mendongeng terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap cuci tangan pada anak usia sekolah. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Pre-Experimental One Group Pre-Posttest Design, dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Mei 2021. Responden setuju untuk berpartisipasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa data demografi, angket yang diisi sendiri terkait pengetahuan dan sikap mencuci tangan dengan reliabilitas baik Cronbach's alpha > 0.881 (pengetahuan) dan > 0.925 (sikap). Analisis data menggunakan SPSS Versi 23 pada rumus univariat dan bivariat. Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh mendongeng yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pada anak usia sekolah dengan nilai P 0,000 (< 0,05). Kesimpulan: Selama pandemi Covid-19 pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap cuci tangan sangat penting. Pendidikan melalui berbagai media terdapat di tempat-tempat umum, televisi, media sosial dan lain-lain. Namun, perlu pendekatan khusus untuk anak usia sekolah sebagai populasi rentan karena prevalensi Covid-19 ini relatif tinggi
