Abstract

Makalah ini menyajikan hasil studi pengukuran nilai Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) dan power reflection factor (PRF) untuk berbagai jenis bahan dielektrik yang akan disisipkan pada saluran transmisi yang beroperasi di frekuensi 9 GH dan dibandingkan dengan saluran transmisi tanpa bahan dielektrik. Pengukuran dilakukan di laboratorium antena Politeknik Negeri Padang dengan menggunakan alat ukur penunjang komponen waveguide yang berfungsi menghasilkan nilai VSWR dan PRF sehingga didapatkan grafik gelombang berdiri dengan parameter tegangan dan jarak. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan menjadikan bahan dielektrik berbagai jenis dengan kondisi rangkaian terbuka. Pengukuran pertama dilakukan untuk bahan dielektrik jenis teflon berwarna putih diperoleh hasil VSWR sebesar 28,50 dengan PRF 86,90% sedangakan bahan dielektrik jenis plexiglass berwarna transparan nilai VSWR sebesar 12,39 PRF 72,35 % dan bahan dielektrik jenis PVC berwarna abu-abu VSWR 7,97 dengan PRF 60,39 %. Sedangkan untuk saluran transmisi tanpa bahan dielektrik ( tidak disisipi bahan dielektrik ) nilai VSWR 1,50 dengan PRF 4,01%.

Abstract

The concept of smart home and cyber home is not the same, even much different. If a smart home or smart home is more aimed at users or home users who lead to conventional homes equipped with digital devices, the concept of cyber home is more to the bandwidth capacity of the internet to complement digital devices in the home. For this reason, Cyber Park Indonesia cooperates with PT Wika Realty. Specifically to develop the housing as a cyber home, Cyber Park Indonesia uses optical fiber. [Kompas, 2017]. This fact states that communication using optical fiber becomes very important so that to optimize the optical fiber system, a study that produces frequency responses to optical fiber attenuation parameters is made. Various sine signal frequency and amplitude values are given as input from an optical fiber dispersing system by looking at the response of the receiver in the form of voltage parameter values. The frequency values given range from 100 Hz to 10 Khz. The linkage of the input amplitude value to the damping value is an output voltage output generated by the amplitude of the amplitude parameter at the sending end. This voltage value comparison is used as the damping parameter of an optical fiber communication system. Giving this frequency will provide the performance of a fiber optic communication system. The resulting voltage value is a constant of changes in the frequency value.

Abstract

Base Transceiver Station is a device used to connect mobile-phone or smartphone in order to make long-distance communication, although in doing the movement or in transit from one place to another. Installation Base Transceiver Station for Network Node B At the operator Hutchison 3 Indonesia is done to make the operator Hutchison 3 Indonesia signal received by the phone for the better and not dashed when the user performs long-distance communication links with conditions in performing the movement or in the course of one place to another. Methods beginning the process of physical installation of Base Transceiver Station for Node B network in the operator Hutchison 3 Indonesia and order all the Base Transceiver Station can live well after the battery is connected to a rectifier and the required accuracy when performing the installation Base Transceiver Station. Abstract

Dutch electronics company, Philips, is testing LiFi technology. LiFi or Light Fidelity is able to deliver broadband internet connections through light intermediaries. According to Philips Lightning Olivia Qiu's Chief Innovation Officer, LiFi technology has great potential for today's digital era. Indeed, if you look at the current world trend, internet connection has now become one of the daily needs of humans just like the lighting needs produced by Philips massively. When radio frequency becomes increasingly dense, the light spectrum is a large untapped resource [kompas, 2018]. Based on the facts stated that communication using optical fiber becomes very important so that to optimize the fiber optic system an implementation of optical fiber attenuation measurements is made. In this study, the method of implementing the measurement of optical fiber attenuation at a wavelength of 875 nm was introduced. This optical fiber attenuation measurement utilizes transmitter and receiver optical fiber systems that are connected to optical fibers with different lengths and curves. Attenuation for the length of 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 meter optical fibers is 0.034, 0.558, 0.625, 1.156 and 2.170 dB respectively in straight optical fiber conditions. The power values for each optical fiber with lengths 1, 3,4,5 and 6m respectively are 52.21, 51.58, 50.81, 45.08 and 30.05 dB when there are curves. The attenuation values of each 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 m optical fiber lengths are - 0.746, - 0.8, - 0.864, - 1,384 and - 3,145 dB respectively when there is a curve.

Abstract

Motion estimation is a process to determine the movement of an object on video sequential. The movement of objects is known as motion vector. A motion vector indicates a shift point between the current frame with the reference frame. Of motion vector is obtained, it would seem that the movement of the dots between the observed frame. In this study using the algorithm block maching SAD (Sum of Absolute Different), the search process is done per pixel. To determine the quality of the movement of objects in each frame interpolation is obtained by calculating the PSNR value. PSNR values range from 35 to 40 dB. From the research conducted using the 90 frame interpolation obtained PSNR value decreases.

Abstract

Makalah ini menyajikan hasil studi pengukuran efek transformer pada waveguide dengan melihat nilai VSWR dan power reflection factor pada berbagai variasi ketinggian dari 3 screw transformer. Transformer ini di pasangkan pada ujung saluran transmisi yang diterminasi beroperasi di frekuensi 9 GH. . Pengukuran dilakukan di laboratorium politeknik negeri padang dengan menggunakan alat ukur penunjang komponen waveguide. Melalui alat ukur ini dihasilkan nilai VSWR dan power reflection factor sehingga didapatkan grafik gelombang berdiri yang dipengaruhi oleh posisi 3 screw dari transformer. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan memberikan variasi ketinggian screw transformer berturut-turut yaitu 0mm, 2mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm dan 10mm. Pengukuran pertama dilakukan pada ketinggian screw 0mm diperoleh hasil VSWR sebesar 9,06 dengan power reflection factor 64,19% kemudian 2mm nilai VSWR sebesar 6,18 power reflection factor 52,05 %, 4mm nilai VSWR 1,95 dengan power reflection factor 10,41 %, 6mm nilai VSWR 1,26 dengan power reflection factor 1,30 %, 8mm nilai VSWR 1,15 dengan power reflection factor 0,47 %, 10mm nilai VSWR 1,08 dengan power reflection factor 0,15 %.

Abstract

As a legal tender, banknotes have several drawbacks in terms of their use. for people with visual impairments they have, it is very likely that they will be confused, misplaced, and even some ignorant people take advantage of their weaknesses in using the money. Based on this problem, in this paper we propose to make a banknote detector with sound output. The method used for the nominal identification process is the color based filtering algorithm using the Pixy2 CMUcam5 camera and Arduino as the data processor. Tests were carried out on 1000, 2000, 5000, 10000, 20000 and 50000 banknotes. From the test results, it was found that the success rate was 90% with the optimal distance for the camera scan process being 7 to 10 cm in an average time of about 5.7 seconds.
