Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang dinamika Islam dan politik kerajaan Bone Sulawesi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Islam ditinjau dari aspek politik kerajaan Bone sebelum dan setelah Islam berkembang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah field research dan menggunakan beberap a pendekatan, seperti historis, dan politik. Adapun pengumpulan data dalam tulisan ini diperoleh melalui buku-buku karya ilmiah. Dari tulisan ini terungkap bahwa secara historis keberadaan kerajaan Bugis pada masa sebelum dan setelah Islam berkembang dipengaruhi oleh sistem politik  penjajah Hindia-Belanda dan juga Jepang yang menjadikan Bone sebagai Koloninya. Dalam dinamika politik Islam yang dilakukan oleh penjajah setidaknya menghasilkan dua situasi .Yang pertama kedatangan penjajah awalnya untuk menguasi ekonomi kemudian berkembang menjadi usaha untuk menghimpun pasukan dengan mengangkat raja-raja sehingga dibentuklah Bondgenoot Schappelijke Landen dan Gouvernement Landen. Yang kedua, pada masa penjajahn Jepang muncul elit baru yakni yang dipengaruhi oleh kelompok Barat dan beriorentasi pada Islam dengan mendirikan berbagai sarana pendidikan berbasis Islam. Memasuki masa kebangkitan Islam pada kerajaan Bone berbagai macam protes terhadap penjajah mulai berdatangan dengan melibatkan tokoh agama seperti ulama dan juga kaum priyai yang membawa pendidikan pada erah baru yakni pendidikan tanpa batas tanpa melihat perbedaan golongan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership and work environment on organizational commitment and employee performance at PT Bank Mega, Tbk Regional Makassar during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted at Bank Mega Regional Makassar by taking information from permanent employees who have worked for more than 3 (three) years using a questionnaire, with a total sample of 158 employees. The data were analyzed using a quantitative approach and processed using the SPSS version 22 application. The results of this study indicate that leadership has no significant effect on employee performance during the Covid-19 pandemic, in contrast to the work environment and organizational commitment which have a significant effect on employee performance during the Covid pandemic. -19. This shows that during the Covid-19 pandemic, companies should pay more attention to the quality of the employee's work environment and focus on the process of increasing employee organizational commitment to the company.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the level of work discipline, work motivation and work commitment to the performance of employees at the Public Works Department of Merauke Regency.This research uses quantitative research, quantitative research is a process of finding knowledge using numerical data as a tool to analyze information about what want to know.The results of this study found that work discipline, work motivation and work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, high work motivation can be proven to contribute positively and significantly to improving employee performance , the commitment of good organization proved to give positive and significant contribution to the improvement of employee performance at the Office of Public Works Department of Merauke Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality on customer satisfaction, service quality on customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction on customer loyalty, product quality on customer loyalty, service quality on customer loyalty, product quality on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction, service quality on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction. This research includes a quantitative descriptive study with conclusions through statistical analysis. The population in this study were customers of State-Owned Banks of Sinjai Branch. The samples were taken as many as 100 customers based on the Slovin formula with proportional stratified random sampling technique. Data was collected through questionnaires and documentation and analyzed through validity, reliability, classic assumption test, path analysis, and Sobel test. The results of the analysis obtain a regression line equation: Z = 2.443 + 0.972X1 + 0.072X2 and Y = -0.3395 + 0.505X1 + 0.085X2 + 0.596Z. The equation shows that customer loyalty is influenced by the product quality and service quality through customer satisfaction. The results showed that product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction has a positive and significant on customer loyalty, product quality has a positive effect and there are significant customer loyalties, service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty if through customer satisfaction. customer loyalty through customer satisfaction at state-owned banks Sinjai Branch.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work motivation, competence and compensation on agent performance through job satisfaction at Prudential Life Assurance, and to see whether job satisfaction acts as an intervening variable. The population of this study is a Prudential Life Assurance agent consisting of 8 branch offices in Makassar with a total sample of 90 agents. Data collection is done through questionnaires using simple random techniques. The collected data is then analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with PLS 2.0 as a data processing software. From the results of this study found: (1) work motivation has a non-significant effect on job satisfaction but has a significant effect on agent performance, (2) competence has a significant influence on job satisfaction and agent performance, (3) compensation has a significant effect on job satisfaction and agent performance, (4) job satisfaction has no significant effect on agent performance, (5) work motivation, competence and compensation have no significant effect on agent performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Suksesnya suatu perusahaan dalam era globalisasi tergantung pula pada formulasi dan implementasi strategi yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan. Manajer ataupun pemilik perusahaan membuat strategi untuk membawa perusahaan semakin dekat dengan tujuan kinerjanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Strategi marketing selain mempengaruhi keunggulan bersaing juga dapat meningkatkan kinerja pemasaran produk ice cream walls melalui keunggulan bersaing terhadap kinerja pemasaran pada cv. Jaya Sentosa Di sulawesi selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksplanatori, yakni suatu penelitian yang akan digunakan untuk menganalisis strategi marketing produk ice cream merek Walls melalui keunggulan bersaing terhadap kinerja pemasaran. Dari hasil olahan data PLS 2.0 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa bauran pemasaran (produk, harga, promosi dan sistribusi) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pemasaran sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa bauran pemasaran memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja pemasaran. Sedangkan keuanggulan bersaing yang memediasi hubungan bauran pemasaran terhadap kinerja pemasaran juga memberi pengaruh signifikan.

Abstract

Abstract— The focus on logistics and supply chain management in most industries is as means for improving the competitiveness of the industry or companies. It is require developing a project supply chain management that reduces its cost, process and product development time, to stand in the market also not lose the benefits in the global market. To achieve a process and product that have low cost and improved quality there is requirement of combining project management techniques with current engineering resources. A good product team always works on the improvement of product quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness. They know that there are always new and innovative ideas are implemented. It is require setting the priorities of these ideas. This paper studies the different approaches of project supply chain management to developing a good product. There are many challenges faced by the developer to grow and expanding the products.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of science and technology and the quality of human resources in the processing of high economic value water hyacinth in Lake Tempe, Wajo Regency. This research is a type of quantitative research with primary data collection. The sample used is the community around Lake Tempe with the age of 20-39 years, as many as 100 respondents. Data analysis is carried out through stages: collecting data through a questionnaire, and visiting the field directly in order to provide a clear picture of the problem under study. Testing the hypothesis of this study using multiple linear regression data analysis. Data were analyzed using SPSS 23 software. This study states that: (1) science and technology on water hyacinth are of high economic value, with increasing science and technology, economic value is increasing. (2) The quality of human resources has a positive and significant effect on water hyacinth with high economic value, with the increase in the quality of human resources, the economic value is increasing. (3) Simultaneously science and technology and human resources quality have a positive influence on high economic value, partially science and technology, and human resources quality have a positive effect on high economic value. (4) science and technology variable is a more dominant influence on water hyacinth with high economic value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of intellectual capital on investor decisions in choosing shares in insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach using insurance companies on the Stock Exchange in the 2013-2017 period as a population. The sampling method used purposive sampling, so that there are 10 companies that meet the criteria as a sample. Intellectual capital variables are measured using the Value Edded Intellectual Coefficient (VAICTM) method, whose components consist of VACA, VAHU, and STVA. And investor decisions are measured by Price to Book Value (PBV). As for testing the hypothesis using panel data regression methods and path analysis which is processed through Microsoft Excel software and Eviews 10. The results of this study indicate that intellectual capital does not directly influence investor decisions (PBV), VACA and VAHU have Prob values <0.05, which means that VACA and VAHU have a significant effect on PBV. While STVA has a value of Prob> 0.05, it means that STVA has no significant effect on PBV. This is because in the Indonesian capital market there are still many short-term investors who make decisions based on performance and have not utilized how intellectual capital can increase the company's potential. In addition, the shares of Indonesian insurance companies are less liquid in the capital market, and there are market psychological factors that influence investors' decisions.

Abstract

Indonesia is the largest number of Muslimspopulate, the market share of Islamic banking in Indonesia is only 3.2 percent of its total banking system. Hence, the quest to attract a large number of customers is a major challenge to Indonesian banks. However, few studies use Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA)to identify factors which significantly influence customers’ intention to use and select Islamic banking for their banking transactions. This paper investigates the constructs of TRA, add variable religiosity on Islamic banking selection. The study employed questionnaires to 275 respondents of bank customers in Palembang , Jakarta, and Makassar are represented big regions of Indonesia. Using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling , attitude, subject norm,and religion are statistically significant effect on intention to select Islamic bank in Indonesia. The model explains 43 % of the total variance in Islamic banking intention. The results imply that Indonesian Islamic banks should strategize ways to develop positive attitude and reference amongst their customers through greater dissemination of knowledge about Islamic banking while emphasizing on the religious compliance.
