Abstract

This research is motivated by gender conflict and the problematict of the life of a woman named Hiroko who comes from a poor family who is always bullied and harassed when pitted fate of her dignity as a housemaid in the city. The focus of this research in the form of the question is " how gender conflicts novel Nh My name is Hiroko works. Dini, which includes the forms of gender conflict, gender conflict causes, and consequences of gender conflict ? ". The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the forms of gender conflict, gender conflict causes and consequences of gender conflict.                                                                                This research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. The data in this study are the elements (such as text) that supports gender conflict. Data source is the novel My Name Hiroko works Nh. Dini. Stages of the research done by: (1) to read the novel, (2) identify the text (notes) (3) inventory data used in the study ), (4) Classifying data related to gender conflict. Data analysis of this study showed that female characters (Hiroko) gender conflict; (1) marginalization (economic impoverishment ), (2) Subordinated ( position does not matter ), (3) stereotypes ( negative marking),  (4) violence (5) workload. causes of gender conflict is caused by several factors, namely economic factors, educational factors, social factors, and cultural factors. gender conflict is a result of physical and psychological violence against the main female characters.                                                                   Suggestions in this study is expected to researchers further to explore other conflicts of the novel My name is Hiroko works Nh. Dini, is expected to readers, especially students to continue to read works of literature, teachers are expected to Indonesian literature also presents the lessons more interesting.

Abstract

The research was distributed by inner conflict and about the labyrinth of the life of a character named Asroel who was often confronted with environments that are less supportive of his efforts. Formulation of the problem of the research is "How does the main character in the novel the inner conflicts of traditional Thatch work MD. Aminuddin reviewed aspects of the id, ego and super ego "? The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the inner conflict protagonist of the novel the song of reeds by MD. Aminuddin reviewed aspects of the id, ego and super ego by using the theory of Sigmund Freud propounded.This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive method. The Data in this study are the elements (of text) that supports the inner conflict in the novel Song of reeds By MD. Aminuddin. The data source is a novel Song of reeds by MD. Aminuddin. This research is carried out by stages: (1) read and understand novel Song of reeds by MD. Aminuddin, (2) identify and classify data inner conflict in the novels main character, (3) determining the inner conflict of the main character aspects of the id, ego and super ego, interpret the data (4), (5) prove and formulate conclusions.The analysis of research data shows that the main character (Asroel) experiencing inner conflict; (1) aspects of id make Asroel sad because his farewell with Roekmini and his son. Then Asroel Stienjie Netherlands girl loves totok, (2) the ego aspect makes the Asroel into a hard figure in maintaining the opinion that impact on himself. Asroel can not be balancing aspects of the id, ego and super ego makes it erred in taking decisions, (3) aspects of super ego finally made Asroel aware of his wrong doing that maintains his ego all along to make the Asroel stuck into a variety of difficult situations. Suggestions in this study is expected to be for the reader not concerned with ego, and balancing between id, ego and super ego.

Abstract

Ability Reading Comprehension Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sasak Ranah Pasisie West Pasaman Regency with Questions Answering. This research is quantitative descriptive method. The study population was all students in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Sasak Ranah Pasisie by the number of students 141 people. Sample this reseach was 30 people on the number of students, is the class VII2, because it represents a sample taken using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is objective test with answer technical questions.Based on the data analysis and discussion described in chapter IV some conclusions can be drawn, namely: (1) reading comprehension class VII student of SMP Negeri 1 Sasak Ranah Pasisie West Pasaman with the technical of questions answering for the content of reading comprehension indicators classified as More Than Enough (LDC) with a mean of 74.5 rounded to 74 contained in the range of 65-75 %. (2) reading comprehension class VII student of SMP Negeri 1 Sasak Ranah Pasisie West Pasaman with the technical the questions answering for appropriateness indicator reading the contents classified as Good (B) with a mean of 79.6 rounded to 79 contained in the range of 76-85 %. (3) the ability of reading comprehension class VII student of SMP Negeri 1 Sasak Ranah Pasisie West Pasaman with the technical of answering questions for both indicators classified as Good (B) with a mean of 77 contained in the range of 76-85 %.Relevant to this, the researchers put forward several suggestions, which are as follows: First, that students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Sasak Ranah Pasisie more reading so that it can increase knowledge. Second, in order to subject teachers Indonesian language and literature at SMP Negeri 1 Sasak Ranah Pasisie further improve the learning techniques of variation in reading comprehension.

Abstract

This research is motivated obedience and Nuria Mariamin figure in their life that is fraught with difficulties. This study measures the extent to which religious values such as faith, morals, and character sharia  in everyday life. The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the application of the values of faith, morals, and sharia contained in the novel Azab and Passion works Merari Siregar.            This research is a qualitative study using descreptive  analytical method. Stages of the research done by: (1) read and understand the novel Azab dan Passion works Merari Siregar; (2) literature study to obtain reference books or reference books or reference related to the purposes of the study; (3) Mengiventarisasi the data related to faith, morals, and sharia; (4) to classify the data according to the format of the data inverentasi; (5) writing research reports.            After doing research on novel Azab and Passion works Merari Siregar obtained the following results: (1) the problem of islamic creed, which seek refuge and reliefe, resignation and surrender; (2) moral issues, moral concerns: (a) to God, ie pray, give thanks, and istigfar; (b) to his fellow man, the humble’ (humble), trustworthy, patient, forgiving, and noble attiude; (c) to the family, which is devoted to the father and mother, wife against husband’s attitude, and the attitude of the parents towards the child. (3) problems sharia (Islamic law), namely prayer, zakat, munakahat (marriage), mawaris and testament. Based on the above research, the advice contained in the novel Azab dan Passion in particular the Muslims (Muslims) to want to learn, expolore, understand, and Islamic teachings contained in this novel to be practied in daily life.

Abstract

This research is motivated by three things. First, the lack of students reading skills . Second, students had difficulty finding the main idea in a reading, because students are less earnest in reading. Third, students are not able to make an argument writing effectively and efficiently. This study aims to describe the relationship of critical reading skills with essay writing skills argumetasi class XI student of SMA 2 Island Dharmasraya Arbor. This study was collected on December 29 and January 30, 2013. Quantitative type of research is descriptive method . The study population was a class XI student, amounting to 133 spread over four classes. This research instrument is an objective test for critical reading and performance tests to write the essay s argument. Based on the data analysis and discussion , it was concluded three things. First, critical reading skills is more than enough that is classified as 75.12 %. Second, the argument essay writing skills that students classified as either 83.08 %. Third, there is a significant relationship between critical reading skills with the skills of writing essays arguing with n - 1 degrees of freedom and a significant level of 95 % ( 3.5154 ). Based on these conclusions, Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted for the results of the test prove that t_ ( count ) is smaller than  t_tabel ie, 3.5154 > 1.70

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hal berikut. Pertama, pengajaran keterampilan memahami karakter tokoh dalam novel sulit. Kedua, siswa juga menganggap menyimak merupakan hal yang membosankan. Ketiga, kurangnya apresiasi guru dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik bagi siswa khususnya tentang sastra. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas IX SMPN 1 Rao Kabupaten Pasaman, yang berjumlah 217 siswa yang tersebar dalm 7 kelas. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan memahami karakter tokoh dalam novel dapat disimpulkan sesuai indikator yang diteliti. (1) indikator 1 (nama tokoh) tergolong baik sekali (BS) dengan rata-rata 92,28% (2) indikator 2 (peran) tergolong hampir cukup (HC) dengan rata-rata 54, 28%(3) indikatpr 3 (karakter) tergolong cukup (C) dengan rata-rata 65,71%. Dari hasil nilai yang diperoleh tersebut, dapat disimpulkan  bahwa kemampuan memahami karakter tokoh dalam novel Sandaran Hati karya Mursal Fahrezi siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Rao Kabupaten Pasaman lebih dari cukup (LDC) dengan rata-rata kemampuan adalah 70,75%.

Abstract

This examination is bacground by three problems. First, students capable less to write argumentative opus, second, students don’t have ability to pour  idea in form argumentative opus, tird use methode not interesting, this examination have gaal to description the ability to write argumentative opus students class x senior high school Negeri 1 Pasaman with use modeling technic, kind of examination is kuantitative examination with descriptive methode, population of this examination students x class SMA Negeri 1 Pasaman have 245 students, the sample of examination have 37 people, from produce examination can know that ability to write argumentative opus students class x SMA Negeri 1 Pasaman with modeling technic are, first to indicator 1 (make the reader is believe) to get mean 98,22, perfect gualification, second indicator II (prave the truth one statetment) to get mean 93,86 with good gualification, third indicator III (change the reader opinion) mean 88,46 with better, generaly the ability to write argumentative opus students class X SMA Negeri 1 Pasaman with modeling technic qualificationis very good has mean governance student 93,24.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 9 Sijunjung dalam kemampuan menulis karangan narasi sugestif masih kurang, yang menjadi kesulitan utama bagi siswa dalam menulis adalah mengembangkan ide atau gagasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis karangan narasi sugestif siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 9 Sijunjung dengan menggunakan teknik menyelesaikan cerita. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif  dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini siswa kelas X semester 1 SMA N 9 Sijunjung. Jumlah siswa yang terdaftar sebanyak 175 orang tersebar dalam 5 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sample random sampling atau secara acak. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 35 orang (20% dari populasi per kelas). hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis karangan narasi sugestif siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 9 Sijunjung dengan menggunakan teknik menyelesaikan cerita, dapat disimpulkan kemampuan menulis karangan narasi berada pada kualifikasi baik dengan nilai rata-rata 76.77 berada pada rentangan 76—85%.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the limitations of students in writing and developing short stories and less media to support students in the learning process of short story writing. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability to write text short stories of students kelsi VII SMP Islam Khaira Ummah Padang assisted media images glow. This type of research is classified as quantitative research using descriptive method. The population of the study were the seventh grade students of Islamic Junior High School Khaira Ummah Padangyang registered in 2015/2016 academic year, as many as 135 people spread in 5 classes. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The number of samples of this study as many as 22 students are students of class VIIB. The data of this research is the result of writing test of short story text of VII students of SMP Islam Khaira Ummah Padang. Based on the results of the study of the ability to write short story text students of the seventh grade of Islamic Junior High School Khaira Ummah Padang with the help of a series of images for the whole with the average of 83.71 counts are good in the range of 76-85%. Keywords: short story text, images beamedAbstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan siswa dalam menulis dan mengembangkan cerita pendek dan kurangya media untuk mendukung siswa dalam proses pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek. Data penelitian ini berupa hasil tes menulis teks cerita pendek siswa kelas VII SMP  Islam Khaira Ummah Padang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kemampuan menulis teks cerita pendek siswa kelas VII SMP Islam Khaira Ummah Padangberbantuan media gambar berseri untuk keseluruhan dengan rata-rata hitung 83,71 tergolong baik berada pada rentangan 76-85%. Kata kunci:teks cerita pendek, gambar berseri

Abstract

Online lectures are the main means of learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. It is inevitable that at this time, the campus is carrying out lectures online from home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but lecturers and students continue to conduct online-based lectures through various applications, one of which is the Zoom Meeting application. The purpose of this article is to determine the effectiveness of using the Zoom Meeting application in micro teaching lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used was in the form of filling out a questionnaire via Google Form for 34 students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program STKIP PGRI West Sumatra who were taking micro teaching courses in the even semester of 2019/2020, total 34 students. From the descriptive survey results, it was found that the variable student opinion on the ease of the Zoom Meeting application in micro teaching lectures, obtained an average of 3.857. The student acceptance variable on the ease of the Zoom Meeting application as an online learning medium in micro teaching lectures, obtained an average of 3.649. The student expectation variable regarding the use of the Zoom Meeting application in micro teaching lectures, the results obtained an average of 3.842. That is, the use of the Zoom Meeting application is less effective in micro teaching lectures, but it is already effective in online learning media and can be used as a learning application during the Covid-19 pandemic.
