Abstract

The expansion of coffee industry in Indonesia makes coffee becomes a part of lifestyle for most people. Indonesian coffee has managed to be popular to foreign countries and that makes Indonesia is also well-known in the world. Therefore, the Indonesians need to know, explore and love their own local products.The purpose of this Interior Design is in order to know more about Indonesian coffees, people needed the information about types, history, the culture of coffee, how to process coffee, and the needs for facilities that provides experiences to explore and enjoy coffee in full with attractive interior ambients, that can be obtained through structuring design elements based on the art and design knowledges. The facilities includes the form of cafes, coffee workshops, information on coffee galleries, and coffee stores, by displaying a comfortable and pleasant interior atmosphere, to attract local and foreign tourists in the world of coffee, especially Indonesia’s local.

Abstract

Objective: To determine the correlations between muscle mass, muscle strength, physical performance, and muscle fatigue resistance in community-dwelling elderly people in order to elucidate factors which contribute to elderly’s performance of daily activities.Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on community-dwelling elderly in Bandung from September to December 2014. One hundred and thirty elderly, 60 years old or above, were evaluated using bioelectrical impedance analysis to measure muscle mass; grip strength to measure muscle strength and muscle fatigue resistance; habitual gait speed to measure physical performance; and Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) to assess physical activity. Results: There were significant positive correlations between muscle mass (r=0,27, p=0,0019), muscle strength (r=0,26, p=0,0024), and physical performance (r=0,32, p=0,0002) with muscle fatigue resistance. Physical performance has the highest correlation based on multiple regression test (p=0,0025). In association with muscle mass, the physical activity showed a significant positive correlation (r=0,42, p=0,0000). Sarcopenia was identified in 19 (14.61%) of 130 subjects. Conclusions: It is suggested that muscle mass, muscle strength, and physical performance influence muscle fatigue resistance. Abstract

Technological progress supports the development of digital game, so that, through people's lifestyle that relies more and more on wireless devices, games become mobile, easy to access, likable and popular. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to find the relation between games and its players in regards to the communication process and interactive pattern that exist in Cut The Rope and Angry Birds as mobile physics game.This research is an explorative field analysis that uses Creswell case study divided into literature study, case identification, primary data collection and interpretation as the synthesis of the whole. The result of this research is focused on the visual perception and interaction between players and two researched objects.The result shows that visual element, game play, puzzle-like character and sound effect are the most influential aspects of the games since they are considered suitable to the condition and the ability of the casual game players. Besides that, it is known that visual perception is a representation of the function of a common-theme-object with its interpretation that fits the context in a game. Therefore, visual interaction between the players and the researched games are based on four crucial factors: theme, game play, physics movement and simplified presentations of the visual elements. Through the perceptive process, similar kind of games would create a bonding, called challenge based immersion experience, in which this involvement demands the players to understand rules of the games. Such interaction is not influenced by playing time duration and usually does not cause an addiction to the games. Hence, it is clear that the concept of a mobile game has to be understandable through the games' highly comprehensible way, rules, and purpose.This research is mostly focused on the study of the visual aspect of a mobile game, so others still have the chance to do deeply study of the other three crucial aspects of the mobile game: game play, puzzle-like character, and sound effect.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini meruapakam satu kewajiban dosen dalam melaksanakan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Pengandian ini berjudul Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dalam Budidaya Hidroponik Untuk Peningkatan Pendapatan Keluarga yang akan dilaksankan pada bulan Juni sampai dengan Agustus 2021 di Gereja GKPS Pansur Lima. Rangkaian Pengabdian ini dimulai dari Pelatihan dan Pengenalan Budidaya Hidroponik, Pembuatan Instalasi Hidroponik, Penanaman Sayuran Hidroponik, Pemantauan dan Pelaporan. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan melibatkan mahasiswa sebagai anggota pada pengabdian ini , dimana mahasiswa bertugas sebagai pengambil data. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan 1 hari .Setelah dilatih kemudian diuji cobakan dengan menanam sawi pada instalasi hidroponik yang telah disediakan. Pada penanaman yang dilakukan oleh petani dipantau Rencana target luaran diharapkan pengabdian ini dapat mentransfer ilmu dan tehnologi dan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat dipublikasi pada media masa /cetak/online Kata kunci: Hidroponik, Pendapatan keluarga

Abstract

Community service is undertaken effectively to implement knowledge outside of lectures and train students' hard and soft skills as well. Community service was conducted in rural Jlarem, Gladagsari District, Boyolali Regency. The issues raised in this community service are related to the education of children and society’s agricultural knowledge. Therefore, this community service aims respectively to create programs that can improve learning methods for students and increase the people's insight in terms of managing agriculture and farm products in rural Jlarem. This community service is to address learning difficulties due to virtual learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic and the scarcity of fertilizers and plant pests that are occurring in rural Jlarem. The method used in education was regularly tutoring with materials that have been prepared and followed by fun experiment s. Meanwhile, the agriculture tutorial was conducted by combining the presentation of the material by speakers and the following discussion. The satisfaction value is conducted by assessing questionnaires that are distributed to participants. The result of this community service is the implementation of learning guidance, and an agricultural extension program acquired a 3.6 GPA predicate of user activity respectively succeed.
