Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas group investigation ditunjang penugasan awetan bioplastik terhadap hasil belajar dan minat wirausaha siswa materi keanekaragaman makhluk hidup kelas VII SMP N 6 Pati. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-Experimental Designdengan desain One-Shot Case Study. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu  kelas VII yang terdiri atas tujuh kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil dua kelas dengan teknik purposive sampling. Indikator efektif dilihat dari 75% siswa mencapai KKM, 75% siswa memiliki minat wirausaha minimal tinggi dan 85% siswa aktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar, minat wirausaha dan aktivitas siswa kedua kelas mampu mencapai indikator. Analisis hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan rata-rata persentase ketuntasan klasikal 94%, sedangkan persentase minat wirausaha tinggi dan sangat tinggi 96% dan rata-rata persentase aktivitas aktif dan sangat aktif 96%. Selain itu, sebagian besar siswa dan guru IPA kelas VII memberikan tanggapan yang positif terhadap desain pembelajaran ini. Kesulitan manajemen waktu dan pendampingan investigasi kelompok menjadi kendala dalam pembelajaran. Penerapan pembelajaran group investigation ditunjang penugasan awetan bioplatik pada materi keanekaragaman makhluk hidup terbukti efektif terhadap hasil belajar, minat wirausaha dan aktivitas siswa kelas VII SMP N 6 Pati.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research aimed  to examine the effectiveness of Group Investigation supported by bioplastic preservation learning assignment upon students’ learning results and entrepreneurship spirit  of VII grade students  at  SMP N 6 Pati. This Research was the Pre-Experimental Design with One-Shot Case Study. The population of this research were VII grade students  consisted of seven classes. Sample taken for this research was two classes with purposive sampling technique. The result of this research showed that students’ learning results, activities and entrepreneurship  spirit could be used as the indicators of the successfulness. Analysis of learning results  showed  that percentage of completeness classical was  ≥ 94%, percentage of student entrepreneurship with criteria high and very high was  96% and percentage of student activity was  ≥ 96%.%. In addition, almost all the students and the science teacher of VII grade  provided  positive feedback toward this learning design. Applying Group Investigation supported with bioplastic preservation learning assignment was proven  as the effective way to improve the learning achievement, student entrepreneurship and student activity of VII grade at  SMP N 6 Pati.

Abstract

  Abstract _____________________________________________________________The learning type that is still used by teacher is the conventional method. The material of Cell contained some abstract concepts. Students felt difficult to understand the concept of cell. Concept Attainment model was an inductive learning that could help student to find their own concept from the material. The picture card media could help student to understand the concept of cell. This study was aimed to analyzing concept attainment model with picture card  on student achievement. This study is pre-eksperimental design research with one shoot case study approach is applied to class XI Science 3 and 4. Populations in this research are all class XI IPA. Sampling was using by purposive sampling. The results showed that> 80% of students achieve mastery of learning outcomes by KKM 75. the conclusions from this study was that application of concept attainment model of picture cards effect on student achievement on this material.Abstrak___________________________________________________________Model pembelajaran yang digunakanoleh guru berupa metode ceramah. Materi sel berisikan konsep yang abstrak. Siswa merasa kesulitan dalam memahami konsep pad amateri sel. Model pencapaian konsep merupakan model pembelajaran induktif yang mampu membantu siswa untuk menemukan sendiri konsep dari suatu materi. Media kartu bergambar membantu siswa untuk memahami konsep sel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran pencapaian konsep melalui kartu bergambar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sel. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimental design dengan pendekatan one shoot case study yang diterapkan pada kelas XI IPA 3 dan XI IPA 4. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI IPA. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa >80% siswa mencapai ketuntasan hasil belajar dengan KKM 75. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pencapaian konsep berbantu kartu bergambar berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sel.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan pembelajaran sistem dalam kehidupan tumbuhan berbasis web dengan visualisasi dan simulasi. Penelitian ini dikatakan layak jika hasil penilaian kelayakan dari pakar media dan materi 70% dan hasil belajar klasikal ≥ 75% di atas nilai KKM. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R & D) yang akan menghasilkan web pembelajaran pada materi sistem dalam kehidupan tumbuhan di MTs Negeri. Hasil analisis penilaian kelayakan pakar materi adalah 85% dan hasil penilaian oleh pakar media 75,76%. Pada uji coba skala terbatas hasil belajar siswa mencapai 100%. Pada uji coba pemakaian kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari pada kelas kontrol. Terbukti dengan pencapaian hasil belajar kelas eksperimen ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 100% dan pada kelas kontrol ketuntasan klasikalnya hanya 75%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan media pembelajaran biologi berbasis web dengan visualisasi dan simulasi layak digunakan pada materi sistem dalam kehidupan tumbuhan di MTs Negeri.   The purpose of this study was to know the appropriateness of web based learning system plant life topic with visualization and simulation. The experiment was considered succesfull if the results of quality assessment of media experts and materials was 70% and the results of classical learning ≥ 75% was which above the standard of KKM. This study was a Research and Development (R & D) that the result is web-learning system material in the plant life in the MTs. The results of expert analysis for feasibility assessment of the material was 85% and the results of expert assessment for the media is 75.76%. On a limited scale trial, students assessment reached 100%. On the trial application, experiment class performed better than the control class. It could be showed by study result assessment in the experiment class. The classical completeness was 100% and the control class was 75%. Based on the results, it could be concluded that the use of web-based biology learning media with visualization and simulation was appropriate to be used in the system in the living plant material in MTs.

Abstract

 Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium menekankan kegiatan praktikum di laboratorium sebagai komponen utama dalam proses belajar mengajar. Hal ini akan mewujudkan hakikat Biologi yang menekankan pada pemberian pengalaman secara langsung. Perlu adanya penelitian lebih mendalam mengenai seberapa jauh pembelajaran ini diimplementasikan oleh guru dan bagaimana sebenarnya implikasinya terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) guru dan siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium; 2) guru telah mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium pada  materi Biologi kelas XI semester genap tahun pelajaran 2012/2013; 3) guru sudah menyiapkan silabus, RPP dan LKS sebagai perangkat pembelajaran Biologi berbasis laboratorium; 4) kualitas hasil belajar siswa kelas XI pada materi sistem pencernaan semester genap berada dalam kategori baik (72,73%) dan sangat baik (27,27%); 5) Sekolah telah dilengkapi laboratorium guna menunjang proses pembelajaran Biologi berbasis laboratorium. Abstract This learning emphasizes practical activities in the laboratory as the principal component in the teaching learning process. This will attain the essence of Biology which puts emphasis on giving experience directly. It needs the further study about how far this learning has been implemented by the teachers and its implications to the students’ achievement. The results of this research showed that 1) the teacher and the students gave positive responses to laboratory based learning; 2) teachers have implemented laboratory based learning in the Biology materials in the even semester of grade XI in the academic year of 2012/2013; 3) teachers have prepared the syllabi, lesson plans, and students’ worksheets as learning media for laboratory based biology learning; 4) the quality of students’ achievement in grade XI on the digestion system material in the even semester can be categorized as good (72,73%) and very good (27,27%); 5) the schools have  Biology laboratory to support the application of laboratory based learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan strategi bioedutainment berbantuan kartu Biodomino dan LKS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan di SMP N 1 Madukara Banjarnegara. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian seluruh kelas VIII. Kelas VIII E sebagai eksperimen dan VIII D kontrol ditentukan dengan random sampling. Data berupa perbedaan hasil belajar dianalisis dengan uji-t, peningkatan hasil belajar dianalisis dengan uji N-gain, aktivitas dan tanggapan siswa dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen > kontrol yaitu 85,94 > 72,47. Uji-t hasil belajar siswa thitung = 6,065 > ttabel = 2,00. Uji N-gain menunjukan jumlah siswa kelas eksperimen yang peningkatan hasil belajarnya sedang dan tinggi yaitu 56,25% + 43,75% = 100%, sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya 68,75%. Jumlah siswa aktif kelas eksperimen > kontrol yaitu 92,19% > 77,34%. Tanggapan semua siswa kelas eksperimen terhadap penerapan strategi bioedutainment berbantuan kartu Biodomino dan LKS baik. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan strategi bioedutainment berbantuan kartu Biodomino dan LKS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan di SMP N 1 Madukara Banjarnegara. This research aimed to find the implementation of bioedutainment strategy assisted by biodomino card and student worksheets was able to improve learning outcome of plant tissue structure and function material in SMP N 1 Madukara Banjarnegara. Research applied in pretest-posttest control group design. The population was VIII grade students, VIII E as experiment class and VIII D as control class which were determined by random sampling. Data of differences students’ learning outcome analyzed using t-test, improvement of learning outcome were analyzed using N-gain test, activity and student response were analyzed by descriptive quantitative technique. The result of the research showed that learning outcome average of experiment class students > control class, which was 85.94 > 72.47. The t-test result was tcalculated = 6,065 > ttable = 2,00. N-gain test showed the students experiment class that learning outcome improvement were as high as 56,25% + 43,75% = 100% control class while only 68.75%. Active student in experiment class was more than in control class, which was 92.19% > 77.34%. All experiment class students give their respons toward the learning strategy using bioedutainment assisted by biodomino card and students’ worksheets well. The resume of this study is implementation of bioedutainment strategy assisted by biodomino card and student worksheets were able to improve learning outcome of plant tissues structure and function material in SMP 1 Madukara Banjarnegara.

Abstract

Abstract Availability of various learning materials will increase student’s knowledge. Reality in field still limited of learning materials is used in learning process. The aim of this research is to determine global warming pocketbook  which is appropriate to be used as learning materials in Junior High School, and to determine the feasibility and the effectiveness global warming pocketbook to be developed. This research design was Research and Development (R & D). The results assessment of media specialist and materials specialist showed that a global warming pocketbook was well worth the feasibility percentage, respectively for 96,4% and 93,3%. The response percentage of students on product trial was >50%. Student classical learning completeness obtained ≥75% (KKM: ≥75). The response percentage of teacher was >50%. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that global warming pocketbook which is appropriate with necessary of students and teacher is full colour and picture, consists of many exercises and information supported materials. A global warming pocketbook to be developed is feasible and effective for use as a learning materials in learning process. Abstrak Ketersediaan bahan ajar yang bervariasi akan meningkatkan pengetahuan yang diperoleh siswa. Kenyataan di lapangan masih terbatasnya bahan ajar yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui buku saku materi pemanasan global yang sesuai digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di SMP, serta mengetahui kelayakan dan efektifitas buku saku materi pemanasan global yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan rancangan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa buku saku materi pemanasan global sangat layak dengan persentase kelayakan berturut-turut sebesar 96,4% dan 93,3%. Persentase tanggapan siswa pada uji coba produk mencapai >50%. Ketuntasan belajar klasikal siswa mencapai ≥75% (KKM: ≥75). Persentase tanggapan guru mencapai >50%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku saku materi pemanasan global yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan guru adalah buku saku yang penuh warna dan gambar, serta berisi banyak latihan soal dan informasi pendukung materi. Buku saku materi pemanasan global yang dikembangkan layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Alternatif untuk mengatasi kualitas kedelai yang rendah yaitu perbaikan sifat genetik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid (2,4-D) dan Benzyl Adenine (BA) serta lama penyinaran dan interaksinya terhadap regenerasi tunas dari kalus kedelai, dan untuk menentukan interaksi faktor-faktor yang paling optimal dalam regenerasi tunas dari kalus kedelai. Konsentrasi 2,4-D dan BA masing-masing terdiri dari 4 taraf (0 ppm; 3 ppm; 6 ppm; 9 ppm) dan 2 taraf lama penyinaran (24 jam dan 0 jam). Analisis menggunakan ANAVA tiga arah dan uji lanjut Duncan. Parameter yang diamati adalah waktu muncul tunas, panjang tunas, jumlah tunas, dan persentase kalus membentuk tunas. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi BA dan lama penyinaran mempengaruhi regenerasi tunas dari kalus kedelai, sedangkan konsentrasi 2,4-D tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap regenerasi tunas. Konsentrasi BA yang paling optimal adalah 3 ppm dan lama penyinaran yang optimal adalah kondisi 0 jam. Interaksi konsentrasi BA, 2,4-D dan lama penyinaran berpengaruh terhadap regenerasi tunas terutama pada banyaknya jumlah tunas yang dihasilkan. Perlakuan BA 3 ppm + 2,4-D 6 ppm + 24 jam adalah perlakuan yang optimal dalam meregenerasi tunas dengan jumlah kalus yang banyak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan untuk meregenerasi kalus menggunakan ZPT BA dan 2,4-D dan Lama penyinaran.Genetic trait improvement is a way to overcome the low quality soybean. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid (2,4-D) and Benzyl Adenine (BA) concentration and long irradiation and their interaction on bud regeneration from callus soybean, and to determine the interaction of the factors that most optimal in bud regeneration from callus soybean. 2,4-D and BA concentration each consisting of 4 levels (0 ppm; 3 ppm; 6 ppm; 9 ppm) and 2 levels long irradiation (24 hours and 0 hour). Analysis using a three -way ANAVA and Duncan test further. Parameters measured were the time appears bud, bud length, number of buds, and the percentage of callus forming buds. The result showed that BA concentration and long irradiation affects the regeneration of shoots from callus soybean, whereas the concentration of 2,4-D had no significant effect on bud regeneration. The most optimal concentration of BA is 3 ppm and optimal long irradiation is the condition 0 hours. BA concentration, 2,4-D concentration and long irradiation interaction effect on the regeneration of buds mainly on the number of buds produced. Treatment BA 3 ppm + 2,4-D 6 ppm + 24 hours is the optimal treatment in regenerating buds the number of callus that many. Based on the research results suggested to regenerate callus using ZPT BA and 2,4-D and long irradiation.

Abstract

Feronia limonia (L.) Swingle better known as wood apple is an identity plant of Rembang Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. However, the population is very limited. In order to identify the conservation efforts, this ethnobotany study was aimed to determine traditional knowledge on the existence, economic value, utility, breeding technique and conservation of wood apple. The survey was conducted on a total of 102 local people from 10 sub-districts which were determined by proportionally stratified random sampling. Data were collected by questionnaires and individual interviews and then were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that all of respondents knew the figure of wood apple, but only 79.50% understood its status as an identity plant. Most of respondents (96%) stated that the fruits have low economic value, 80.39% respondents have utilized ripe fruit as ingredients of beverages and stems as firewood. This utilization was only equal to 29.72% compared to the potential usability based on research results. It was concluded that the traditional knowledge about the existence, economic value, and breeding technique were good and on the contrary, the knowledge about the plants usability was bad. The results will form a basic knowledge for in-depth studies to provide a government policy of Rembang Regency in order to develop an efficient strategy of management and conservation of wood apple as plant identity.

Abstract

AbstrakMikroorganisme tanah seperti Gliocladium sp dapat bertindak sebagai dekomposer dan juga sebagai agen pengendali hayati patogen tanaman hal ini memberikan harapan untuk mengurangi penggunaan pupuk dan fungisida sintetik. Tujuan penelitian untuk menguji potensi biofertililzer Gliocladium sp terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi buah tomat. Variabel bebas yaitu bioferlizer Gliocladium sp dengan dosis (g/tanaman) 0,50, 100, 150, dan 200 .Variabel tergantung adalah pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman tomat. Parameter pertumbuhan yang diukur adalah tinggi tanaman, kandungan klorofil a dan b. Parameter hasil tanaman yang diukur adalah berat buah setelah panen. Hasil uji Anava satu jalan menunjukkan bahwa pemberian Gliocladium sp perpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman, kandungan klorofil a dan klorofil b, berat tomat . Hasil uji lanjut Duncan menunjukkan bahwa dosis 100, g 150 g dan 200 g tidak berbeda signifikan terhadap tinggi tanaman, dosis 150g dan 200 g tidak berbedan nyata dalam pembentukan klorofil a dan klorofil b. Pemberian Gliocladium dosis 150g paling tinggi terhadap berat buah. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa pemberian Gliokompos sp berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi buah tomat.AbstractSoil microorganisms such as Gliocladium sp. can play role in the decomposition and can also become the biological control of pathogenic plants. The animal is potentially reduce the use of fertilizers and synthetic fungidid. The aim of the study was to test the potential effect of biofertililzer Gliocladium sp. on the growth and production of tomatoes. The independent variables was biofertilizer Gliocladium sp. at various dosages (g/plant) of 0, 50, 100, 150, dan 200. The dependent variables were the growth and the production of tomatoes. The growth parameter measured were plant height, as well as a and b chlorophyl contents. The crop parameter was the fruit weight post-harvest. A one-way anova showed that Gliocladium sp. affected the plant height, the a and b chlorophyl contents, and the tomato weight. The Duncans post-hoc test showed that there was no significant difference on plant height among 100g, 150g and 200g treatment dosages, and 150g and 200g treatment dosages do not affect the formation of a and b chlorophyl. The Gliocladium dosage of 150g was the strongest in influencing the fruit weight. It was concluded that the administration of Gliokompos sp. affects the growth and production of tomatoes.

Abstract

Fusarium disease of tomato plant is caused by Fusarium oxysporum. For gaining high quality and stable tomato production but physically construction, natural management of environment balancing, consistency, and stability is a must. A kind effort that should be tried is using natural agent, Trichoderma. This research aims to know the effect of Trichoderma implementation towards Fusarium oxysporum growth, and Tomato fruit production and vitamin content. There are two steps of this research. The first is seeing Trichoderma perform towards Fusarium oxysporum growth in a variation of incubation periode (7, 14. 21 and 28 days). The second, is giving Trichoderma agent on the tomato planting in some dozez (g), such as 0,10,20,30,40 and 50. The parameter are Fusarium oxysporum growth limits area, fruit weight per plant, and fruit vitamin C content. The research shows that Trichoderma giving are effecting Fusarium oxysporum growth, tomato fruit weight and fruit vitamin C content in a significance way. The highest level of vitamin C content (84,78 mg/matterial) and fruit weight (550 g) is gained on Trichoderma implementation which has incubation day of 21 (19.08 % ) and dozez of 40 grams.   Keywords : biofungisida,Trichoderma, Fusarium oxysporum , tomat
