Abstract

Development of motorcycle industry in Indonesian was represent by four producer’ from Japan, such Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Kawasaki. Each brand was known by society, but how would people perceived it. How celebrity endorsements affect consumer purchase decisions is studied extensively by marketing and social psychology researchers. This research will measure endorser credibility of one of motorcycle brand. This research also conducts to discuss the impact of endorser credibility on attitude toward to ad and also the impact of attitude toward to ad and brand attitude on consumers’ purchase intention. Researcher used path analysis with the AMOS program to calculate the effect of each variable to consumers’ purchase intention. It’s suggested that brand attitude would greater impact on consumers’ purchase intention compare to rather than attitude toward to ad. A model will be developed to describe these relationships.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah menyebabkan dampak di semua industri termasuk industri jasa angkutan laut. Salah satunya adalah jasa penyeberangan kapal feri dengan rute Ujung – Kamal yang menghubungkan Surabaya dan pulau Madura. Kondisi yang memprihatinkan dari keberadaan jembatan Suramadu yang menyebabkan penurunan volume angkutan penumpang maupun kendaraan diperparah lagi dengan kebijakan menghadapi pandemi. Dengan tekanan kondisi tersebut, pihak pengelola dituntut untuk lebih peka mengamati faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat dari pengguna jasa penyeberangan kapal feri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh lokasi terhadap minat menggunakan jasa penyeberangan kapal feri rute Ujung – Kamal; (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterlibatan terhаdаp minat menggunakan jasa penyeberangan kapal feri rute Ujung – Kamal; (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh lokasi dan keterlibatan secara simultan terhаdаp minat menggunakan jasa penyeberangan kapal feri rute Ujung – Kamal. Di penelitian ini melibatkan 76 responden. Dengan menggunakan alat analisis regresi linear berganda menggunakan program SPSS 23 diperoleh temuan penelitian bahwa (1) lokasi terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat menggunakan jasa penyeberangan kapal feri rute Ujung – Kamal; (2) keterlibatan terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat menggunakan jasa penyeberangan kapal feri rute Ujung – Kamal; (3) lokasi dan keterlibatan terbukti berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap minat menggunakan jasa penyeberangan kapal feri rute Ujung – Kamal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menyoroti peran stres kerja dan kepuasan kerja yang menyebabkan intensi turnover. Intensi turnover karyawan telah menjadi isu yang paling penting bagi organisasi dan tantangan utama di industri. Studi ini menjadi penting untuk mengetahui pola intensi turnover sebagai dasar menetapkan tindakan proaktif dan preventif untuk mengatasi masalah kritis ini. Studi ini dapat menjadi salah satu referensi bagi organisasi lain untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap intensi turnover karyawan. Ini dapat berguna bagi pengusaha untuk memiliki strategi dalam mempertahankan karyawan mereka terutama yang berbakat. Studi ini untuk mengetahui peran stres dan kepuasan kerja terhadap intensi turnover dengan melibatkan 181 responden dari suatu perusahaan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah stres kerja dan kepuasan kerja memiliki peran nyata untuk menyebabkan atau mencegah intensi turnover. Dengan memperhatikan stres yang dialami oleh karyawan serta meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan akan menurunkan intensi turnover.

Abstract

Extension agents as the spearhead of extension services to farmers is a figure who has the role of developing farming and increasing agricultural yields. Extension officers are required to have the competencies expected by the organization. Implementation of competencies is monitored through performance appraisals. Regular monitoring of the work of extension agents is expected to provide future work development. Organizational commitment is a variable that plays a role in shaping job satisfaction. Extension instructors who show commitment are satisfied with their work. This research involved 35 instructors in Lumajang Regency, East Java Province. By using multiple linear regression analysis tools will be analyzed the effect of performance appraisal variables and organizational commitment on the job satisfaction of instructors partially and simultaneously. The results of this study stated that performance appraisal proved to have a significant effect on instructor job satisfaction. Organizational commitment proved to have a significant effect on job satisfaction of extension workers. Performance appraisal and organizational commitment simultaneously have a significant effect on the job satisfaction of instructors.

Abstract

The development of the accounting profession, especially public accountants in a country, goes hand in hand with the development of business in that country. This profession has the responsibility to improve the level of financial reporting performance. More attention should be paid to the accounting profession. The same applies to their work behavior. This descriptive and correlational study examines the relationship between the perceived quality of work life of public accountants and job satisfaction and integrity. The analysis tool is correlation and assisted by SPSS. The findings mention the relationship between quality of work life and job satisfaction found a significant and positive linear relationship. Improving the quality of work life results in increased job satisfaction. In addition, the relationship between quality of work life and integrity shows an insignificant and positive linear relationship between the two variables. Likewise, the relationship between job satisfaction and integrity was not found to have a significant relationship

Abstract

The company will always struggle to survive in the competition. Management will continue to look for ways to survive by developing the advantages it has compared to other companies. Management will also build the company from within to be ready to compete in the future. One of the developments carried out by management is a form of employee productivity development. Many factors that build employee productivity can be developed. This research was conducted to determine the impact of motivation, social capital, and work discipline on the formation of employee productivity. This research was conducted at a company in Sidoarjo. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to all employees which found 127 respondents. The study used multiple linear regression as the data analysis. The results obtained that work motivation plays a role in the formation of employee productivity. Furthermore, social capital also has a significant influence on the formation of employee productivity. The researcher also concludes about the importance of work discipline

Abstract

A good corporate image can be formed through marketing communication that is right on target. Marketing communication consists of several elements such as advertising and sales promotions. With attractive sales promotions that are different from competitors and creative and unique advertisements using different themes to attract people's interest and to try what the company offers. This study aims to analyze and discuss the effect of salespromotions andadvertisements on the corporate image of the Ramayana Department Store. The sampling technique uses probability sampling method with a sample random sampling technique. The number of samples involved in this study were 100 respondents. Analysis analysis of collected data is processed through multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 24.0 software. The results state that salespromotions and advertisements have a significant positive effect on corporate image.

Abstract

Unemployment occurs due to many factors, one of which is due to limited job opportunities. Many college graduates become unemployed because practically they want to become government employees or in other words become job seekers, not job creators. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of family environment, self-concept, and risk taking tendencies on entrepreneurial intentions. The population of this study are students of the Accounting Study Program at a university in East Java. This study used 118 respondents as a sample. Data analysis used multiple linear regression. The results showed that the family environment, self-concept, and the tendency to take risks had a significant and positive role in accounting students on entrepreneurial intentions

Abstract

In this era, companies are competing to maintain their existence from existing threats. One of the threats to the company is turnover intention. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and job satisfaction on turnover intention. The population in this study were all employees of a company in Surabaya, namely 107 employees. Sampling in this study used the census technique. The analytical method used is the Linear Regression test with the help of SPSS software. This study shows that organizational citizenship behavior and Job satisfaction has a significant effect on turnover intention. Both variables simultaneously affect turnover intention

Abstract

Abstract:  When completing education, a person is required to have abilities that can be used at work. The ability to think critically is a competency needed in the era of the industrial revolution. By having these abilities, students will be able to solve problems through systematic analysis. This study was designed to seek information about the effect of discovery learning methods and lecturer knowledge on students' critical thinking skills. The research sample is students who study higher education in Surabaya with a total of 40 respondents. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires using google form. The research data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression. Data processing shows that discovery learning has a significant effect on building students' critical thinking skills. Knowledge of lecturers is also proven to have a significant effect on shaping students' critical thinking skills. Together, discovery learning and lecturer knowledge have a significant influence on critical thinking skills.Abstrak: Saat menyelesaikan pendidikan, seseorang dituntut memiliki kemampuan yang dapat digunakan saat bekerja. Kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah kompetensi yang diperlukan di era revolusi industry. Dengan memiliki kemampuan tersebut, mahasiswa akan dapat menyelsaikan masalah melalui analisis yang sistematis. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran discovery learning dan pengetahuan dosen pada kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian merupakan mahasiswa yang menempuh pendidikan tinggi di Surabaya dengan jumlah 40 responden. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan google form. Data penelitian selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran discovery learning memberikan pengaruh signifikan untuk membangun kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Pengetahuan dosen juga terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan untuk membentuk kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Secara bersama-sama pembelajaran discovery learning dan pengetahuan dosen memberikan pengaruh signifikan pada kemampuan berpikir kritis.
