Abstract

Penggunaan mobile phone yang semakin banyak oleh kalangan anak-anak mendorong pengembangan aplikasi mobile untuk anak-anak. Untuk menciptakan aplikasi mobile perlu memperhatikan aspek usability sebagai kunci keberhasilan dan syarat penerimaan pengguna terhadap aplikasi tersebut. Pengujian usability bertujuan untuk menentukan apakah sebuah aplikasi sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna atau belum. Pada penelitian ini melakukan pengujian usability pada aplikasi anak-anak dengan menggunakan metode field observation yaitu dengan cara mengobservasi pengguna bagaimana mereka menggunakan aplikasi. Komponen yang diuji terdiri dari komponen efektivitas, efisiensi dan kepuasan. Aplikasi yang diuji adalah M-Breakfast Nutrition yaitu aplikasi berbasis mobile untuk media pembelajaran sarapan, aplikasi ini memberikan materi sarapan dan rekomendasi menu sarapan yang sesuai dengan profile pengguna. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa metode observasi langsung pada anak-anak dapat meningkatkan nilai usability M-Breakfast Nutrition dari 78.4% menjadi 91.1%. sehingga diharapkan aplikasi dapat sesuai dengan tujuan agar dapat diterima oleh pengguna.Kata kunci: usability, pengujian usability, metode Field Observation, M-Breakfast Nutrition.

Abstract

Abstract. UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Library wants to keep abreast of information technology development that can improve library quality. Smartphone with android operating system nowadays is one of knowing information technology that developed rapidly. The advantages of smartphones using android operating system is the ability to run multiple applications simultaneously, ease of access, and has a relatively cheap price with a lot of functions. The UPN "Veteran" JakartaLibrary currently has limitations in providing a collection search facility due to the less roomy space, the cost of electricity, and also the ergonomics of the device. Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) or that can be known byonline catalog is a useful facility for the user and library in providing the means. Development OPAC withandroid-basedis expected to provide solutions to problems that can help users and also UPN "Veteran" JakartaLibrary in providing excellent service. In this research article will be presented about the stages of OPAC with android-bases development in UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Library by using System Development Life Cyle (SDLC) method. From the result of the research, it is concluded that thedevelopment of OPAC with android-bases in UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Library has been able to provide ten parameters of OPAC third generation. With the android-based OPAC is expected to help the user infinding the collection with the limitations of the search facilities provided by UPN "Veteran" Jakarta as well as providing variations in searching collection at OPAC library UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.Keywords: Development, OPAC, Android

Abstract

Library of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) has a quality policy commitment to continuous improvement in every area and process. It can be achieved by continuously optimizing organizational learning. Web 2.0 is a media application that can help the organizational learning process because it has the characteristics of read and write, as well as having the flexibility of time use, but the application must be in accordance with the culture and character of the organization. Therefore, this study aimed to find out the Web 2.0 application that can be applied to the organizational learning in the Library of UPI. The method used is a mixed method qualitative and quantitative approach. Research stage refers to the stage of planning and support phases of Web 2.0 Tools Implementation Model. The results showed that the application of Web 2.0 can be applied to the organizational learning in the Library UPI. It refers to the tendency of organizational culture Library of UPI that is good and tendency of HR Library UPI attitude against the use of the Internet and computers are very good. Web 2.0 applications that can be used by UPI library are blogs, online forums, and wiki as a primary tools. Facebook, Youtube, chat application, twitter and Instagram as a supporting tools.

Abstract

Early detection and identification of soybean diseases is important to support better productivity of soybean. The demand for the availability of an expert on soybean disease is very high, especially for the beginners in the field of agriculture. However, the number and time allocation of the experts are not adequate to serve farmers located in different geographical areas. Therefore, an expert system is proposed as a solution to use as a diagnostic tool for soybean diseases just like a human expert. It will be even easier when the system is implemented into an Android-based application to be used anywhere and anytime. The objective of this study was to analyze and design an expert system for early identification of soybean diseases. This study was adopting the Expert System Development Life Cycle (ESDLC) approach. The stages were project initialization, knowledge engineering process, and implementation. The study was started with the project initialization phase that conducted in September 2014 and the completion of the implementationphase in August 2015. The results of research were in the form of document analysis and prototype system.

Abstract

Metagenome merupakan mikroorganisme yang diambil secara langsung dari alam. Proses sequencing genom dari metagenome mengakibatkan bercampurnya berbagai organisme. Hal ini menyebabkan kesulitan pada proses perakitan DNA. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan proses pemilahan yang disebut binning. Pada proses binning dengan pendekatan komposisi, teknik yang dilakukan adalah dengan supervised learning. Salah satu tahapan dalam supervised learning yaitu ekstraksi fitur, penelitian ini menggunakan metode ektraksi fitur n-mers. Besarnya parameter n pada metode ekstraksi fitur n-mers akan mengakibatkan dimensi fitur yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan algorime fast-correlation based filter (FCBF) untuk mereduksi dimensi fitur yang dihasilkan n-mers dan mengoptimasi parameter threshold pada fast-correlation based filter menggunakan algoritme genetika. Penelitian ini diuji menggunakan klasifikasi k-nearest neighbour. Performa terbaik diperoleh ketika n = 7 dan k = 3 dengan akurasi mencapai 99.41% dengan nilai threshold 0.67788. Dengan optimasi, waktu komputasi menjadi lebih efisien karena jumlah fitur sudah tereduksi.

Abstract

Abstrak. Prosedur system development life cycle (SDLC) mempunyai peranan penting dalam proses pengembangan sistem di Divisi Teknologi Sistem Informasi (TSI) Bank BRI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memilih proses IT COBIT yang digunakan sebagai fokus area evaluasi penerapan SDLC, menilai maturity level dari penerapan SDLC, memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan penerapan SDLC, dan merancang kerangka kerja IT balanced scorecard (IT BSC) tentang perbaikan penerapan SDLC. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan maturity model COBIT 4.1 sebagai alat assessment untuk mengukur maturity level dari penerapan SDLC melalui sebuah survei. Data hasil survei dianalisa dengan analisis maturity level dan analisis gap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Divisi TSI berada pada maturity level 3 (Defined Process). Analisis gap menghasilkan rekomendasi perbaikan berdasarkan detail control objective (DCO) COBIT yang tidak memenuhi expected maturity level (EML). Akhirnya rekomendasi perbaikan disajikan dalam bentuk kerangka kerja IT BSC.Kata kunci: system life cycle development, IT balanced scorecard, COBIT 4.1, detail control objective, maturity levelAbstract. System development life cycle (SDLC) procedures has an important role in the process of system development in BRI Information Systems Technology (TSI) Division. This research aims to select the COBIT IT processes that are used as evaluation focus area of SDLC implementation, assess the maturity level of SDLC implementation, provide recommendations for improvement of SDLC implementation, and design a framework IT balanced scorecard (IT BSC) about improvement of SDLC implementation. The sampling method using purposive sampling and maturity models COBIT 4.1 as an assessment tool to measure the maturity level of SDLC implementation through a survey. Survey data were analyzed with a maturity level analysis and gap analysis. The results showed that the TSI Division is at maturity level 3 (Defined Process). Gap analysis generates recommendations for improvements based on detailed control objectives (DCO) COBIT that has not reached the expected maturity level (EML). Abstract

In 2014, The Ministry of Social Affairs ofThe Republic of Indonesia (MOSA) send 670 social workers, called ?Sakti Peksos? to all provinces in Indonesia. Sakti Peksos, which stands for ?Satuan Bakti Pekerja Sosial? is the social workers who assist the Child Welfare Program in Indonesia or known as ?PKSA?. To assist the children?s case, the social workers need many practice knowledge of how to deal with the children?s issues. Therefore, it is beneficial to manage the existing information by developing knowledge management system. Through the application based web program, this knowledge management system will develop all the Sakti Peksos?s knowledge. This web aims at organizing all the informations that they have so that it can be shared to other Sakti Peksos. The purpose of this study was to develop a Child Protection Knowledge Management System for Sakti Peksos in the Ministry of Social Affairs. This research uses Knowledge Management System Life Cycle methodology which is adopted from award and ghaziri methodology. This research involves four steps; gathering the knowledge, designing the brueprint of knowledge management system, helding verification as well as validation process, and implementing knowledge management system. The result of this research is a web based child protection knowledge management system, equipped with CakePHP framework and MySQL as Relational Database Management System (RDBMS).

Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada hewan ternak adalah penyusutan berat badan setelah melakukan perjalanan dari asal ternak ke daerah tujuan. Hal tersebut sangatlah merugikan pihak peternak, sehingga mereka harus menekan harga jual akibat penyusutan berat badan ternaknya. Knowledge Management System (KMS) memberikan sebuah pendekatan bagaimana sebuah permasalahan dapat diindentifikasi, ditangkap, dibagi, dan dievaluasi melalui sebuah sistem. Membantu mengatur, menyaring dan menyajikan permasalahan serta solusi untuk menanganinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah prototipe KMS penanggulangan stres pada sapi berbasis mobile yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari para pengguna menggunakan pendekatan Lesson Learned System. Kemudian prototipe diuji dengan menggunakan User Acceptance Testing (UAT) menggunakan Mean Opinion Score (MOS) dan hasil akhir pengujian KMS mobile penanggulangan dan pemulihan stres pada sapi adalah baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze internal and external factors and formulate strategies in improving the quality of higher education institutions in LLDIKTI Region I, North Sumatra. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The analysis method used is a SWOT analysis using an analysis of internal factors and external factors. Strategies that can be carried out by LLDIKTI Region I North Sumatra are improvement and development of data-based information systems in coaching the quality of private universities, internal strengthening of LLDIKTI Region I North Sumatra in terms of more competent human resources, implementing and developing data-based decision support systems that can map quality PTS, guidance in implementing SPMI, provides training to increase the number of qualified auditors.

Abstract

Software defect prediction is a practical approach to improve the quality and efficiency of time and costs for software testing by focusing on defect modules. The defect prediction software dataset naturally has a class imbalance problem with very few defective modules compared to non-defective modules. Class imbalance can reduce performance from classification. In this study, we applied the Neural Networks Based Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) to overcome class imbalances in the six NASA datasets. Neural Network based on SMOTE is a combination of Neural Network and SMOTE with each hyperparameters that are optimized using random search. The results use a nested 5-cross validation show increases Bal by 25.48% and Recall by 45.99% compared to the original Neural Network. We also compare the performance of Neural Network based SMOTE with SMOTE + Traditional Machine Learning Algorithm. The Neural Network based SMOTE takes first place in the average rank.
