Abstract

AbstractThis thesis entitled "the influence of learning environment in school toward the students’learning motivation at SMK Mandiri Pontianak" common problem in this research is "whether there is influence of learning environment in school to the students’ learning motivation at SMK Mandiri Pontianak". The method used in this research is descriptive method in the form of correlation studies. The populations in this study were all students of class XI and XII which amounted to 230 students, the sample taken using random sample totaling 146 students. Data collection used questionnaire / questionnaire techniques, and documentation techniques. The results showed that there is influence between independent variable (X) to the dependent variable (Y) which is known through the calculation by using simple linear regression equation formula Y = a + bX then it is shown in Y = 9,615 + 0,858X which means the value of constant is 9,615 if the learning environment (X) is 0 (zero), then the learning motivation (Y) is worth 9,615. The regression coefficient value of the learning environment variable (X) is 0.858. This means that every improvement of learning environment (X) is 1, then the learning motivation (Y) will increase by 0.858 and test the t test hypothesis> t table, because the value of t arithmetic> t table is 20.650> 1.976 then Ha accepted and Ho rejected or "there is influence of learning environment in school to students’ motivation learning at SMK Mandiri Pontianak". Keywords: Environment Learning, Motivation Learning

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of using virtual laboratorial towards concept mastery and creative thinking ability of students on the material of vibrations and waves. This research is an experimental research that uses pretest-postest control group design. The population of this research is all grade VIII students of SMPN 1 Alas Barat in the academic year 2013/2014 and the sample of this research is grade VIII3 as experimental group and VIII4 as control group that determined by cluster random sampling technique. The instrument thet used to collect the data is test that made in terms of multiple choices and essay test. The data is analysed by statistical formula of N-Gain and t-test. The result of N-Gain of experimental group concepts mastery is 0,5% and control group is 0,2%. Meanwhile, the result of N-Gain of experimental group creative thinking ability is 0,3% and control group is 0,1%. The resultof t-test shows that tobtined of concepts mastery is 1,877 ≥ ttable is 1,671. Whereas, for creative thinking ability shows that tobtined is 1,998 ≥ ttable is 1,671. It means that there is a difference of concept mastery and creative thinking ability of students on the material of vibrations and waves. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of virtual laboratorial has an effect towards concept mastery and creative thinking ability of students on the material of vibrations and waves.

Abstract

Palm oil mill waste is one of the biggest problems in palm oil mill development, hence the need for technology to treat the waste in order to be utilized. This study aims to obtain the composition of organic fertilizer solid waste palm oil factory combined with inorganic fertilizer in the main seedling of oil palm, carried out in the nursery garden of PT. Bio Nusantara Teknologi, Kec. Pondok Kelapa, Central Bengkulu District, from January 2016 to April 2016 with a height of 13 meters above sea level, using Completely Randomized Design (RCD), a factor with 4 replications. Dosage of combination Organic Fertilizer (POP) and Inorganic Fertilizer consisting of 6 levels, namely: O0 = 100% Inorganic (50 g / polybag) + 0% Organic (0 g / polybag), O1 = 80% Inorganic (40 g / polybag) + 20% Organic (100 g / polybag), O2 = 60% Inorganic (30 g / polybag) + 40% Organic (200 g / polybag), O3 = 40% Inorganic (20 g / polybag) + 60% Organic (300 g / polybag), O4 = 20% Inorganic (10 g / polybag) + 80% Organic (400 g / polybag), O5 = 0% Inorganic (0 g / polybag) + 100% Organic (500 g / polybag) ). The results showed that the combination of fertilizer treatment was significantly different from the variability of green leaves, the increase of seedlings 12 weeks after planting (MST), stem diameter 12 MST and leaf-breaking time, and not significantly different on the leaves leaf variable 12 MST.Keywords: palm oil waste,  solid organic fertilizer,  inorganic fertilizer,  palm oil nursery

Abstract

[THE USE OF OIL PALM EMPTY-FRUIT-BUNCHES COMPOST AS THE SUBTITUTE FOR NPK FERTILIZER IN THE OIL PALM PRE-NURSERY]. Compost of oil palm empty fruit bunches (OPEFB) is rich in nutriets needed to support the plant growth and offers as the substitute for chemical fertilizers. The purpose of this study was to determine the rates OPEFB compost and NPK fertilizer applications on the best suited for the growth of oil palm seedlings during pre-nursery. The OPEFB compost at 50, 100, and 150 g/pot was applied in factorial combination with with NPK at 0.0, 2.5, and 5.0 g/pot. Data were collected for seedling height, stem diameter, leaf number and leaves greenness. Higher leaf number was observed when OPEFB compost applied at 100 or 150 g/plot with or without additional NPK. Seedling height, stem diameter, and leaves greenness were increased with the application of OPEFB compost at 50 g/pot but no further increase with the additional rates. Additional application of NPK only increased the leaf greenness.

Abstract

The research for this piece was carried out in Embau - one of the sub districts of the region of Kapuas Hulu. Socio - demo graphically, this region is inhabited by n community of Muslims that that continues to grow in numbers. Further to the Muslims, the area is inhabited by considerable numbers of non-Muslim Dayaks and other migrants to the area. What is interesting to note is the process of Islamization of the Dayak community, which has occurred naturally as a result of its intersection with the Muslim community. It was the Malays, who appeared in the area hundreds of years ago, who brought Islam to the area. The introduction of Islam to the area has brought with it a number of changes to the Dayak community in West Kalimantan. Not only did many Dayaks adopt Islam as their religion, they further adopted the culture typical of other Muslims.DOI: 10.15408/sdi.v15i1.539

Abstract

The object of this study is Islam in Dayak communities; a subject that is rarely being studied. It tries to expose some interesting facts about Islam in these isolated communities. Many have hitherto thought that the Dayak communities are primitive with no particular affiliation to any formal religion. This paper tries to show the reverse. The truth is that these communities do even have reasonably developed view of Islam especially that which has to do the problem of tolerance and social life. The basic premise that this paper adopts is that a practice is form of paradigm; the way a particular society performs social life reflects their orientation of religious understanding. Hence, although the Dayak communities do not have paradigmatic understanding of Islam—in the strictest sense of the word—they do nonetheless have a practical discourse that emerge out of their unique and perhaps simple understanding of their religion. Relevant to the study of this object is the issue of community identity and how this issue is related to the religious identity. Hence, the paper is interested in exposing the tension between the two identities in the context of the Dayak communities in West Kalimantan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to evaluate Information Communication and Technology (ICT) study at SMPN 2 Gunung Labuhan Kabupaten Way Kanan, and specifically aim for analyze: (1) learning environment condition of ICT, (2) tool and infrastructure that support in learning process execution of ICT, (3) ICT learning process that done, and (4) ICT result achievement learns at SMPN 2 Gunung Labuhan Kabupaten Way Kanan. The genre of this research category is a quantitative evaluation research and evaluation method used in this research are Contexs, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) model. The Population is the entire students of VIII class SMPN 2 Gunung Labuhan Kabupaten Way Kanan in the year of 2012/2013 that consisted of 181 students, and the sample of the research appointeds as big as 25 % from population total, that is 45 students. The data that used in this research is gatherred to use observation method, documentation, and practice test. Data analysis technique that used in this evaluation is quantitative descriptive analysis.The evaluation result that ICT learning at SMPN 2 Gunung Labuhan Kabupaten Way Kanan success well with percentage result 70,47%. While specifically conclusion are : (1) evaluation in component context as big as 58,62% with enough category (2), evaluation in component input as big as 78,47% with good category (3), evaluation in process component as big as 76,43% with good category and (4) evaluation in component product as big as 68,38% with good category.Key word : contexs, input, process, product, ICT

Abstract

Chinese Indonesians are not homogeneous community. Study of the Chinese is also important to understand not only their presence in Indonesia but also  religious life. This article seeks to shed light on Indonesia’s Chinese Muslims in Pontianak City. It explains the reasons that led the Chinese Indonesians to convert to Islam and the challenges they face. Several important reasons behind their conversion, among others, are intellectuality, morality, social relations, and mysticism. In contrast with conversion to other religions, a Chinese Indonesians  conversion to Islam is such problematic. This is mainly due to the negative stereotype against Muslims. It has also been worsened by the behavior of religious fanaticism of some Muslims under the banner of fundamentalism. Thus, those who are converting to Islam, to some extent, have experienced various challenges such as rejection from family members as well as their original community, and some of them also receive death threats. Abstract

Sebagian besar anak dilahirkan cerdas. Dengan demikian, mereka juga dibekali kreativitas Pendidikan masa kanak-kanak sangat menentukan keberhasilan secara keseluruhan dimasa mendatang, Pada masa kanak-kanak inilah sebagai fondasi awal mendidik anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menemukan: (1) perencanaan pembelajaran yang di lakukan oleh guru ataupun orang tua dalam penegem kreativitas anak melalui pembelajaran sentra seni. (2) pelaksanaan serta upaya yang di lakukan guru ataupun orang tua pada pemebelajaran sentara seni yang di lakukan guru ataupun orang tua dalam pengembangan kreativitas anak, dan (3) evaluasi pengembangan kreativitas yang di lakukan guru ataupun orang tua sentara seni. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, pengumumpulan data dengan tehnis observasi wawancara dan dokumentasi penentuan subjek penelitian di lakukan dengan mengunakan purposive sampeling. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Sentra Seni, Kreatifitas Anak Usia Dini.

Abstract The Use of Reference Elements in Political Discourse on the Newspaper ofBanjarmasin Post February 2017 Edition. The purpose of this study was todescribe the use of elements (1) persona references, (2) demonstrative references,and (3) comparative references contained in written discourse in the dailynewspaper of Banjarmasin Post February 2017 edition. This research is conductedby using qualitative approach with descriptive research method. Sources of data inthis study is the discourse in the newspaper. Data was extracted by usingdocumentation techniques. To analyze the data used qualitative analysistechniques. Based on the results of research on the Use of Reference Elements inPolitical Discourse on Newspaper of Banjarmasin Post Edition February 2017.The conclusion (1) there is the use of elements (a) references persona, (b)demonstrative reference, and (c) comparative reference in the political discourseof the letter news of Banjarmasin Post, February 2017 edition. (2) It is concludedthat of the twenty-four political discourses found it is stated that the more dominantpersona reference is used with 25 words, the demonstrative references with 24words, and comparative references with a single form. The first person referenceexample, that is me, and us, the third persona reference, that is, he, them, and theresearcher does not find a form that contains a second person reference, contains ademonstrative reference of time, ie today, yesterday, later, tomorrow, then, now.Demonstrative reference of place, that is, that, Peat, Batola, Amutai, Jakarta,comparative reference, that is the same thing. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untukmendeskripsikan penggunaan unsur (1) referensi persona, (2) referensidemonstratif, dan (3) referensi komparatif yang terdapat dalam wacana tulis di surat kabar harian Banjarmasin Post edisi Februari Tahun 2017. Penelitian inidilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metodepenelitian deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah wacana dalam suratkabar. Penggalian data ditempuh dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Untukmenganalisis data digunakan teknik analisis kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasilpenelitian tentang Penggunaan Unsur Referensi dalam Wacana Politik pada SuratKabar Banjarmasin Post Edisi Februari 2017. Diperoleh kesimpulan (1)terdapatnya penggunaan unsur (a) referensi persona, (b) referensi demonstratif,dan (c) referensi komparatif dalam pada wacana politik surat kabar BanjarmasinPost edisi Februari 2017. (2) Disimpulakan bahwa dari dua puluh empat wacanapolitik yang ditemukan dinyatakan bahwa referensi persona lebih dominandigunakan dengan 25 wujud kata, sedangkan referensi demonstratif dengan 24wujud kata, dan referensi komparatif dengan satu wujud kata. Contoh referensipersona pertama, yaitu saya, kami, dan kita, referensi persona ketiga, yaitu -nya,ia, dia, mereka, dan peneliti tidak menemukan wujud kata yang mengandungreferensi persona kedua, mengandung referensi demonstratif waktu, yaitu hari ini,sebelumnya, kemarin, nanti, besok, lalu, saat ini. Referensi demonstratif tempat,yaitu ini, itu, Gambut, Batola, Amutai, Jakarta, referensi komparatif, yaitu halyang sama. Kata-kata kunci: penggunaan unsur referensi, wacana politik
