Abstract

The low ability of students' creative thinking in social studies learning is shown by students who are less able to answer descriptive questions and also have not been able to provide ideas when answering a question. This study aims to describe the differences and improvement of students' creative thinking skills using the board game Risk Rulers of the Archipelago learning media using image media. This research includes quantitative research with a Quasi-Experimental approach, the research design is a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of this study were fifth-grade students of SD Negeri Pasayangan, Lebakwangi District, Kuningan Regency. Data collection was carried out using test instruments in the form of pretest and posttest description questions to measure students' creative thinking skills before and after the action. The data analysis of this research used instrument tests and statistical tests. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in students' creative thinking skills in the experimental class using the board game Risk Rulers of the Archipelago learning media and the control class using image learning media. (2) there is an increase (gain) of student's creative thinking skills in the experimental class using the board game Risk Rulers of the Archipelago learning media and the control class using image learning media. The conclusion of this research is the use of board game learning media Risk Rulers of the Archipelago is very influential on students' creative thinking skills compared to those using image learning media.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini berisi tentang kemampuan literasi matematika siswa dalam memahami soal cerita melalui penerapan media pembelajaran komik pada siswa SD Negeri 1 Karangtawang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa dalam memahami soal cerita yang menggunakan media komik dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran komik. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas V berjumlah 39 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen (quasi eksperimental design) dengan nonequivalent control grup design (pretest-postets design). Kelompok eksperimen diberi perlakuan berupa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media komik dan kelompok kontrol tidak menggunakan media komik. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes (pretest-posttest). Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa: (1) hasil (posttest) kemampuan literasi matematika yang menggunakan media komik lebih tinggi dibandingkan yang tidak menggunakan media komik, dan (2) peningkatan (gain) kemampuan literasi matematika siswa yang menggunakan media komik lebih tinggi atau lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan media komik. Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil (posttest) dan perbedaan peningkatan (gain) dari kedua kelas yang diberi perlakuan berbeda. Siswa dari kelas yang menggunakan media komik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas yang tidak menggunakan media komik.Abstract This study discusses the students' mathematical literacy skills in understanding story problems through the application of comic learning media to students of SD Negeri 1 Karangtawang. This study aimed to describe the increase of students' mathematical literacy skills in understanding story problems by using comics media and not using comics learning media. The research subjects of class V consisted of 39 students. The research method used was an experiment (quasi-experimental design) with a nonequivalent control group design (pretest-posttest design). The experimental group was given treatment in the learning by using comic media, and the control group did not use comic media. Data were collected through interviews, documentation, and tests (pretest-posttest). The results of the analysis indicated that: (1) the results (posttest) of the students’ mathematical literacy skills by using comic media were higher than not using comics media, and (2) the increase (gain) of the students' mathematical literacy skills using comic media was higher than not using comic media. From this study, it could be concluded that there were differences in the results (posttest) and in the increase (gain) of the two classes that were given different treatments. The students of the class that used comics media could improve their mathematical literacy skills better than the class that did not use comic media.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang wajib dikuasi oleh peserta didik. Bahasa memiliki empat keterampilan, salah satunya keterampilan membaca, membaca dapat menambah informasi sebagai pengetahuan. Namun, pada kenyataannya di lapangan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia masih rendah terutama dalam memahami kalimat serta isi dari sebuah teks, selain itu juga model pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi, sehingga hasil belajar peserta didik masih dibawah nilai KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran multiliterasi terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Cirea. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan metode Pre-eksperimen, dengan desain One-Group-Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V berjumlah 26 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 soal pretest dan 20 soal posttest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, uji hipotesis (uji t) dan menggunakan perhitungan N-Gain yaitu uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model multiliterasi terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman peserta didik kelas V. Keterampilan membaca pemahaman peserta didik sebelum dan setelah diberi perlakuan terdapat peningkatan dengan kategori tinggi. Maka dari itu pada penelitian ini yakni model pembelajaran multiliterasi lebih efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya pada proses membaca sebuah teks

Abstract

This study intends to investigate the self-efficacy and perspectives of primary school parents in an online learning during COVID-19. The survey method was applied in this study with a random sampling technique for parents in West Java. Participants included in this study were 95 parents of elementary school students. The instruments applied were open and closed questionnaires. Overall, parental self-efficacy was moderate, namely 45.98. Parents' self-efficacy in public primary schools was higher than from private primary schools. However, in inferential, there was no significant difference between the self-efficacy of parents in public and private primary schools. 55% of parents rated online learning as effective. For students, 44% of parents felt that students had difficulties understanding online learning materials at home. On the other hand, 82% of parents felt student assessments assisted in learning from home. 93% of parents found it easy to access online learning. 68% of parents were satisfied with online learning during COVID-19. Thus, online learning is a breakthrough in learning activities with the use of future technology during COVID-19. Educators are also required to create interactive learning through online learning platform and with the cooperation from parents at home.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya unsur etnopedagogik dalam pembelajaran serta untuk mengetahui sejauh mana persepsi mahasiswa baru PGSD terhadap lagu Manuk Dadali. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa mengetahui etnopedagogi dalam sebuah lagu daerah Manuk Dadali. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 106 subjek penelitian (responden) mahasiswa baru PGSD yang tersebar di Universitas di Kab. Kuningan. Dengan jumlah 77 mahasiswa perempuan dan 29 mahasiswa laki-laki. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa mengetahui akan lagu daerah Manuk Dadali dan mengetahui makna terkandung dalam lagu daerah tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the project-based learning model to football learning outcomes. The research method used is a True experiment with a randomized posttest-only control group design. The research sample was 60 grade IX students of SMPN 4 Ciawigebang, Kuningan Regency, divided into two groups an experimental class of 30 students and 30 students for a control group. The sampling technique uses random cluster sampling. Research instruments to measure student football learning outcomes with passing-stoping tests (skills), attitude scales (affective), and knowledge tests in the form of questions (cognitive). The data analysis technique used is the independent sample test. The results showed that the application of the project-based learning model positively influenced student football learning outcomes in both psychomotor, affective, and cognitive aspects.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out by STKIP Muhammadiyah Kuningan present downstream science and technology through programs directly to the community in Puncak Village, Cigugur District. The purpose of this community service activity is to carry out the Islamic (Islamic Religious Education) field program based on the results of a situation analysis and requests from the community. The method of community service activities uses focus group discussions (FGD) both internally as a Community Service Team (PKM) and with the Puncak Village community. The results of community service activities from the program that have been carried out consist of Islamic boarding school activities with character-building material (akhlaq), reading and writing the Koran. The history of Islamic culture (history of the Prophet Muhammad SAW), guidance on the Mosque Youth Association (IRMAS) with the material studied regarding the organization, learning, and public speaking, the implementation of other programs is counseling on the dangers of drugs for the younger generation, and the tadarus bada program for tarawih prayers in the holy month of Ramadan. Further PKM activities are sought to collaborate with related institutions or agencies to help alleviate/resolve existing problems in the village.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menentukan kelayakan integrasi penanaman nilai-nilai karakter dalam buku pedoman di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) model Borg & Gall yang terdapat sepuluh langkah disederhanakan menjadi tiga langkah, yaitu (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) pengembangan produk, (3) pengujian dan diseminasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi. Subjek penelitian guru dan siswa kelas IV SDN Gewok. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui validitas konstruk menggunakan expert judgement oleh 2 ahli Pendidikan, analisis menggunakan indeks Aiken. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian uji kelayakan menggunakan Aiken’s V yang dilakukan pada setiap indikator didapat rerata skor yaitu 0,87, koefisien yang cukup tinggi untuk setiap indikator dalam integrasi penanaman nilai karakter siswa pada buku pedoman di Sekolah Dasar. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa integrasi penanaman nilai karakter siswa pada buku pedoman yang telah dikembangkan menghasilkan tingkat validitas yang sangat tinggi. Kesimpulannya bahwa produk integrasi penanaman nilai karakter siswa pada buku pedoman yang dikembangkan dikategorikan sangat layak digunakan, sehingga buku pedoman dapat menjadi suplemen dalam penanaman nilai karakter siswa di sekolah dasar. Disarankan buku pedoman ini perlu dilakukan uji coba dalam skala lebih luas supaya mendapat nilai kelayakan yang lebih tinggi untuk menerapkan produk integrasi penanaman nilai karakter siswa pada buku pedoman.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of class 1 Prathom Anuban Wangmai Sasanasart School in English material is one of the problems that occurs, this is due to the absence of the use of media in learning. This study aims to describe the application of Wordwall media in improving student learning outcomes in English lessons. This study type is quantitative research with a Pre-Experimental Design approach (Non-design), with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects were the first-grade class of Anuban Wangmai Sasanasart School, Tha Phae District, Satun Province, Thailand. The data acquisition techniques were obtained through a multiple choice test or pretest and posttest. The data analysis used by researchers was in the form of instruments and statistical tests. The research results obtained are (1) learning outcomes after using Wordwall media differ from the learning outcome before using Wordwall media. (2) there is an increase in learning outcomes after using Wordwall media compared to the learning outcome before the implementation. This study concludes that the application of Wordwall media has an impact on improving student learning outcomes. This research recommends that the Anuban Wangmai Sasanasart School teachers probably use Wordwall media in learning English.
