Abstract

The research was conducted in Sangir region, Solok Selatan regency to see and analyze soil characteristic ( structure, texture, permeability, pH, organik matter ) for plant of sycamore rice in sangir region, solok selatan regency. The method which was used in this research was descriptive that described about object character which was researched, then compared with the administrative mapping unit and land unit. Land unit was got from overlay of several maps that were map of land from unit, slope, land using, soil and geology. The unit land map was become basit of taking the research sample. The sample was got by strativied random sampling tectnique where the sample of research was taken from strata or degree of land unit. The re sult of research showed thad the research area consisted of four land forms, they were1) land form of volcanic umpland (V1), 2) land form of volcanic hill (V2), 3) land form of volcano down slope (V3), 4) land form of volkano  down (V4). By soil characteristic of land unit which was researched for sycamore rice plant in Sangir region, Solok Selatan regency. Soil characteristics of land unit which were researched for the sycamore rice plant in Sangir region were there was soil characteristic, they were good, medium and bad. At the land unit V1,Toa,I,Sw,Gh and V2 Mpip,II,Sw,Gh, its soil characteristtics were good and land unit are V3 Qvbe,III,Sw,Gh, ist soil characteristic were medium, althouggh in every permabilitas of all the research land unit was categorited  bad. The degree of soil characteristics at the land of sycamore rice planting in Sangir region were divided into categories, that were good category at the land unit of volcanic plain (V1,Toa,I,Sw,Gh) and land unit of volcanic hill (V2,Mpip,II,Sw,Gh), and medium categories located at the third sample center with the land form unit of volcano down slope (V3,Qvbe,III,Sw,Gh)

Abstract

This study aims is to obtain data and information and to discuss about brackish water quality which suitable for aquaculture in coastal area of Muara Air Jambu and Muara Gadang in District Linggo Sari Baganti covering physical conditions (temperature, brightness, and salinity) and chemical conditions (DO, pH, CO2, and NH3). This research is a descriptive study. Determination of sample points in the study done by using purposive sampling technique that is based on a unit area of Muara Air Jambu and coastal area Muara Gadang in District Linggo Sari Baganti. Each unit area represented one sample point brackish water, the amount of water sample point to be taken is 2 sample points on each unit. Based on field observations and laboratory analysis, the obtained results that the brackish water in the study area of  Muara Air Jambu Beach seen from the physical and chemical conditions are meet water quality standards for aquaculture according to Government Regulation No.. 20 in 1990, and categorized in the appropriate class, but there are some unfavorable factors such as salinity, pH, and DO. Abstract

This research aimed to know the land characteristic for the plantation of palm (elevation, elongation, effective depth, drainage, texture, soil acidity, soil salinity, rainy rate, temperature, rock surface, dept rock layer, cation of soil) on each the form of existing area at the Kinali district of West Pasaman Regency. The unity of form of existing area which is observed consisted of six units of land form and the sample for this research was just five units of land form.Technique of taking the sample was random sampling strategy that is a technique of taking sample by using strata of land form. The analysis of data in this research used descriptive analysis, it an analysis of contrastive tables between land characteristic (elevation, elongation, effective depth, drainage, texture, soil acidity, soil salinity, rainy rate, temperature, rock surface, cation of soil) compared with the feasibility level of the land for the plantation of palm.The result of research showed that: 1) there were support factors and barrier factors. Some support factors are: temperature, texture of soil, elevation, surface of rock, dept rock layer, soil acidity and cation of soil) while the barrier factors are rainy rate, drainage, curve elongation and salinity). 2) there were a feasibility level of the land for the plantation of palm at Kinali District showed that the level of the land came into feasible category to plant the palm which occupied in the form unit of the land, those are, Fluvial layer, Volcanic line, volcanic hill, under and middle elongation of  mountain area.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that have a very large coastal areas, because Indonesia is an archipelagic country with tired coastline as long as 81.000 km. Besides occupying large region, coastal areas consist of various supporter ecosystems like ecosystem of mangrove forest. Then access for coastal area of disposed improve exploiting rate of coastal area in the next years. Although in exploiting of economic resource accounting and also exploiting of room. Besides, something else which may not be disregarded is a fact that indicate not less than 60% resident of Aia Bangih live in coastal area.The aim of this research is to know (1). Mangrove forest alteration in Aia Bangih beach in 2002 (2). Mangrove forest alteration in Aia Bangih beach in 2012 (3). Mangrove forest alteration in Aia Bangih beach in 2002 until 2012 that happened in Aia Bangih Beach District Of Sungai Baremas Sub-Province West Pasaman. The kinds of this Research is descriptive research. With aim to describe what there in this time, make a note, analysis and interpret the condition of which is happened now or in the last. This Research area is in coastal region of Aia Bangih Diatrict Of Sungai Beremas Sub-Province West Pasaman.The data analyses technique used to know mangrove forest alteration that happenad in research location with steps (1). Interpretation into two maps is mangrove forest alteration map in  2002, and Mangrove forest alteration map in 2012 with Arc View 3.3 (2). Overlay mangrove forest alteration map by analyses tool Arc View 3.3 (3). Abstract

This experiment have a purpose to describe about characteristic a land in the Koto Parik Gadang Diateh Subdistrict South Solok Regency, the grade of slide hazard in the Koto Parik Gadang Diateh Subdistrict South Solok Regency and spatial share the grade of slide in the Koto Parik Gadang Diateh Subdistrict South Solok Regency.The genre of the experiment is describe with use a metod survey, data source is primer data result direct in the field and labororatorium, whereas sekunder data is a reference source and analytical result in the library. Experiment technic is use a stratified random technik. Data analytical technic is characteristic analytical land with describtive and ditabulation from criteria data act to physical phenomena to determining hazard of the slide, analytical for determine grade of denger slide and share spatial grade of hazard slide with the analytical and process that. The product of experiment explain about: characteristic the land in the experiment zone have 7 land squad grade of hazard slide is: (1) grade of hazard slide is low where in the land squade VI.Qpt.I.Pem.Gleih. (2) grade of hazard slide is medium exist in the land squade V3.Mip.III.Pem.Gleih and V3.Qal.III.Pem.Gleih. (3) grade of hazard slide is hing exist in the land squade V4.Mpip.IV.Pem.Gleih, V4.Qal.IV.Pem.Gleih, and V4.Qvbe.IV.Pem.Gleih and share spatial about study grade of hazard slide have a slore flat (0-13%), slope-asistant (14-25%) and sheer (26-40%) is a part from Nagari Pakan Rabaa North border zone between Solok Regency with South Solok Regency and Nagari Pakan Rabaa Tengah zone north Pakan Rabaa Utara zone south and Nagari Pakan Rabaa.

Abstract

The research was done at the watershed  Bayang Sani district Pesisir Selatan in order to determine the level of erosion hazard with the USLE method (Universal Soil Loss Equation) and the spatial distribution of erosion potential in the study area . The method used was a survey method with mapping unit. Mapping unit is a unit of land that was obtained from the overlay map unit land form, slope, geology, soil and land use.Sample in the tensile is purposive random sampling. Purposive random sampling is taking a sample as random based on specific objectives. Of 16 land units 3 units of land designated as a sample in order to determine the rate of erosion in the watershed Bayang Sani district pesisir selatan.The results showed erosion factors in the study area are as follows: erosivity (R) 2176.22 mm / bl , erodibility ( K ) 0.65 to 0.99 , and slope length ( LS ) 9.34 to 34.54 , land cover and conservation measures ( CP ) 0.010 to 0.200 then calculated using the USLE method of erosion potential in the area of research that is very heavy on land units F3.II.Kc.Qal.Lat, V2.II.Kc.Tomp.Lat and V2.II.Sm.Tomp.Lat. The loss of land between 20.10 to 66.35 tonnes / ha / yr spatial distribution of erosion potential is very severe erosion hazard rate spread in the southern part of the study area with land units F3.II.Kc.Qal.Lat, and in the middle study area with land units and V2.II.Sm.Tomp.Lat V2.II.Kc.Tomp.Lat. Total rate of erosion in the study area of 122.66 tonnes/ha/yr.

Abstract

This study aim get  information, analizing and description of data about visitor perseption of Imam Bonjol Padang green area comfort, and analizing this study in viewing of 1) visitor perseption of imam Bonjol Padang green area in term of student brame 2) visitor perseption of Imam Bonjol Padang green area in term of road singers 3) visitor perseption of about comforttable in Imam Bonjol Padang green area. This study is quality study with interview technical. To answer this problem use primary and secondary data. Primary data collecting from observation, interview and discussing wite informan relevant parties and documentasi thet get from relevant parties.  This study show: 1) generally visitor not feel comfortable with student brand. Because they feel thereeatened  with student brand in Imam Bonjol padang green area people hopee local government attention such as  talk came imam bonjol Padang green area with pamong praja police banned student attend this area with uniform 2) visitor not feel comfortable with road singer in Imam Bonjol Padang green area because they are not public and ofher forcing visitor it visitor dont’t give them money. The road singer also don’t hopee identification that can not be managed properly  and 3) visitors are less comfortable with the presence of Imam Bonjol traders in Taman Padang, due to hygiene and cleanliness of the park baranag merchandise Imam Bonjol kurarang support visitor comfort.

Abstract

Suitability focusing on certain plants such as the avocado plant, which is in essence the land suitability analysis is done by combining the avocado crop plants need to grow crops or avocado with land characteristics, this study was conducted in order to investigate and analyze the physical condition of the land (elevation, climate, rainfall, humidity, slope, pH, structure, consistency, organic matter, drainage and soil type), land suitability and spatial distribution corresponding to avocado crops in sub-mountain districts gutter solok. Unit existing landform in the study area consists of four landform units itu. Technique sampling was stratified random sampling is a sampling technique taken strata ( levels). Land analisis unit of data used is descriptive analysis in the form of a comparison table between land characteristics (elevation, climate, rainfall, humidity, slope, pH, structure, consistency, organic matter, drainage and soil type). Compared with the suitability of land for crop avocado. The results showed that the differences in the characteristics of the land that 1. elevation, climate, rainfall, humidity, slope, pH, structure, consistency, organic matter, drainage, and soil type on each landform unit in the mountain district of Solok regency gutter. 2. there is a diversity of land suitability for the avocado crop in the mountain district of Solok regency gutter 3. wide of spatial avocado crop in sub-mountain areas gutter with appropriate mapping f2, f3, f4 and not in accordance with the landform f5. Units appropriate conditions in the study area are in landform unit slope foothills of volcanic plains (f2) with unit slope landform foot volcano (f3) with unit slope landform central volcano (f4) and landform units that do not comply with the volcanic mountain landform units (f5).

Abstract

Development of horticulture commodity in the line of fruit sector can be designed as one of the resource to create a new growth in national economic. The development of agribusiness the fruit will be provided an additional value to producer (farmer) and the industry as well as enable to improve the balance of nutrient for costumer, one of them is melon. This research was conducted by having some objective: 1) to know the feasibility characteristic of area for the plants of melon, 2) to know the feasibility of land unit where have the most feasible to develop at Batang Anai District of Padang Pariaman Regency. Technique of taking sample used stratified random sampling, is a drawing technique to a sample which is taken based on strata (level) of each area. The analysis data of this research used descriptive, an analysis in the form of comparative table between area characteristic (organic stuff, rainfall, elevation, air humidity, pH, texture and temperature) compared with the level of feasibility land to the plant of melon. This research need five steps were preparation stage, interpretation, field work, laboratory analysis and post field work. The result of research showed that: 1) there was significant difference of area characters, organic stuff to each land unit and rainfall to each existing land unit at Batang Anai District of Padang Pariaman Regency 2) there was a variation of land feasibility to the plant of melon at Batang Anai District of Padang Pariaman Regency. The land unit with its condition was more feasible to the research area which showed to the fluvial land (F1) with each land unit F1. Qa1.I.Blk.Ai, F1.Aal.I.Kb.A1, F1.Qal.I.Sw.Al, F1. Qai.Tg.Ai, the fluvial land of volcanic area (F2) with the land unit F2.Qal.I.Kb.Al. To the plant of melon was observed in the slope of volcanic area (V2) with the land unit V2.QTt.IV.Kb.Reg, V2.Qal.II.Blk.Reg.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were: 1) determine the characteristics of suitable land to plant tomatoes and knowing where the land units suitable for tomato plants in the Valley District Gumanti. Landform units that exist in the study area consists of 60 land units and samples taken only 8 land units only. Sampling technique was purposive random sampling is a sampling technique that captured data collection techniques used were in the form of descriptive tables analysts comparison between land characteristics (soil texture, slope, drainage, elevation, pH,) compared with the level of land suitability for tomato plants.
