Abstract

Abstract: Highways and Water Resources Department is one part of the local governmentorganizations in Bogor in which has the task to formulate technical policy and providepublic services in the field of community development and water resources. This courserequires a highly performance to be able implementing the tasks well. However, theorganization’s efforts to improve productivity experience have a variety obstacle. One of thebiggest obstacles is declining of the employee’s performance caused by decreasing of employeemotivation. The aim of this study is assessing the motivation factors of the mostinfluence on employee performance. Data collection techniques of this study used observation,interview and questionnaire with semantic scale techniques. Data analysis was performedby multiple linear regression analysis method. The analysis results of the influence ofmotivational factors on the performance showed that there is extrinsic work motivationfactors on employee performance than intrinsic work motivation factors. Extrinsic motivationfactor has the most influence to the employees performance of Highways and WaterResources Department, the policy and administration, and working conditions in Bogor.Keywords: extrinsic motivation, intrinsic motivation, performance

Abstract

Plantation sub-sector is one of the agricultural sector mainstays of the foreign exchange and source of household farmers’ income. Plantation development is intended to make it more efficient, productive and competitive in order to increase the income of coffee farmers and their families. The main problem is the poverty of coffee farmers. Coffee plantations owned by coffee farmers in Pati are still dominated by small-scale enterprises, technologically simple, and low income. With low capital conditions, to help increase production and income of coffee farmers, loans are channeled through savings and loan program by Sido Makmur farmer group as an economic empowerment program for coffee farmer households. The aim of this research was to analyze the impact of the loans from Sido Makmur farmer groups toward household economy of coffee farmers. The study was conducted in coffee plantations in Klakahkasihan Village, Gembong, Pati. Cross - section data from Sido Makmur farmer group in Klakahkasihan village were collected directly from 52 respondents; they were 32 farmers who took the loans and 20 farmers who did not. The method used to analyze the data is simultaneous equation model. The results showed that loan has a negative impact on coffee production. It means that less amount of loan taken will improve coffee production. However, the loan has a positive impact on the non - food household consumption, meaning that greater loan taken will increase the household consumption of non – food goods. It can be concluded that this loan failed to help increase the production of coffee, because coffee farmers used it for the household consumption of non – food goods. Keywords: loan, household economy, coffee plantanation, Sido Makmur farmer group, Pati.

Abstract

Potensi wisata bahari di Pulau Kelapan belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh pemerintah dan pemangku kepentingan sehingga menimbulkan beberapa kendala terhadap lokasi properti wisata bahari di Pulau Kelapan, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, kurangnya promosi, keterbatasan infrastruktur dan fasilitas pendukung, dan akses yang sulit. dan transportasi ke tempat-tempat wisata. Oleh karena itu sektor ini belum mampu memberikan kontribusi bagi pertumbuhan dan pembangunan ekonomi daerah. Dalam hal pengembangan pariwisata jangka panjang, potensi ini perlu dikembangkan. Penelitian ini juga dilakukan dengan menggunakan kombinasi metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif, analisis matriks faktor Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) dan External Factor Evaluation (EFE) untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor strategis yang mempengaruhi pengembangan wisata bahari di Pulau Kelapan, serta SWOT. . dan analisis QSPM untuk menentukan prioritas strategis pengembangan potensi wisata bahari Pulau Kelapan Kabupaten Bangka Selatan.
