Abstract

The production process is carried out continuously, it will result in decreased machine capability. When a component on a machine is damaged resulting in the production process being interrupted, the machine's performance depends on the Reliability of the machine or the component. The DMB machine is a sorting machine at PT Etex Building Performance Indonesia, because it is the main machine in the production process and DMB has a high downtime in 2019. Failure Mode effect And Analysis, aims to determine the machine failure factor. Reliability Block Diagram, to determine machine reliability. The results of research with FMEA are Pneumatic with RPN value 60, Decelerator value RPN 64, Accelerator value RPN 56, Hydraulic Table Safety Lock value RPN 48, Roller value RPN 48 Bearing Lifting value RPN 36, Sensor Transfer Dolly value RPN 48, Motor Transfer Template RPN value 36, the Suction Cup is the component that has the lowest RPN value with a value of 30, from the Reliability Block Diagram (RBD) calculation, the DMB machine reliability opportunity value is obtained including 88.42% of the production process for 23 hours, 42.25% of the process for 161 hours of operation. , and decreased by 2.70% when used for 674 hours of operation. Recommended action is to perform maintenance actions with the type of daily care and weekly maintenance.

Abstract

Planning and controlling the raw material inventory is carried out in such a way as to meet the needs of raw materials appropriately and at low cost. The problem with plate raw materials is that there is no appropriate method of controlling raw material supplies. Control of raw materials at this company is sometimes erratic due to unstable market demand. Experiencing an accumulation of raw materials when product demand decreases and there is a shortage of raw materials when product demand increases. This study aims to determine a probabilistic inventory model that is good for determining the order quantity, ordering time and safety stock by considering the minimum total cost. Based on the analysis and calculation results, the total inventory cost according to company policy is Rp. 14,734,832 / year, the total cost of the Q model is Rp. 16,300,517 / year with q value of 1,484, r is 965, ss 104, α of 0.013 and S of 2.449 and the total cost of inventory in the P model is Rp.6,384,473 / year with a T value of 0.019, R of 2.264, ss of 105 and α of 0.013. The results show that the Periodic Review System inventory model has an optimal total cost of inventory. Keywords: Inventory Control; Continuous Review System; Periodic Review System; Probabilistic.

Abstract

The number of frequencies of damage to aluminum machines at PT. XYZ in one year by 39 times. This frequency is large enough that it is necessary to carry out effective maintenance activities to reduce the amount of damage. Reliability Centered Maintenance is one of the methods used to determine how to maintain machine components that fail according to the criticality level of a component. The results of the analysis of the Reliability Centered Maintenance method at the FMEA stage found 1 component that has a high critical level with the highest RPN value of 144, namely the loader component. The selection of actions to be carried out by conditional directed or scheduled on-condition tasks is because these components will function properly if component replacement or repair is carried out. The minimum maintenance cost for loader components obtained from the calculation is Rp. 11,961,496,-

Abstract

Ali's cake (ledram) is one of Karawang's specialty foods which is shaped like a donut made from a mixture of rice flour, coconut milk, and brown sugar. The steps for making Ali cake (ledram) start from preparing the ingredients, cooking coconut milk, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Next is the process of mixing rice flour into the coconut milk and sugar mixture, then proceed with the cake molding process and the frying process. The last stage of making Ali cake (ledram) is the packaging and shipping process. From the results of observations in the field, then an analysis was carried out for making conceptual models and simulations. The simulation of the Ali cake production process (ledram) was carried out using ProModel software. The simulation results show a high rate of cake delivery failure. Next, a repair scenario is made for the system that is already running, namely by adding man power. The simulation results of the improvement system show that there is no delivery failure in the cake delivery process flow. The transfer process of ready-to-pack cakes to ready-to-deliver cakes is smooth, there is no buildup or over capacity.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 has an impact on the progress of a global business, including in Indonesia. One of the companies affected is the Logistics Company. In this research, a logistics company is a company engaged in warehousing and logistics services or 3PL (third party logistics service providers). Based on the research results, it is known that there are five types of products with the highest number of defects in the last six months, namely ER180, IA195, IA120, SL235 and IA220 products. From the Pareto diagram, it is known that the ER180 product is the product that has the highest defect percentage among other products, namely as much as 52%. The processing results obtained an average DPMO value of 185.68538 failures per one million and a sigma level of about 5.06 with a COPQ level of 5-15%. Based on data analysis using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, there are six types of product defects, namely dented packaging, damaged outer cartons, leaking products, rotten products, inappropriate product dimensions and plain packaging. The main causes of product defects are MHE operators who are not careful, the use of damaged wooden pallets and the lack of lighting in the work area. Based on the analysis using FTA and FMEA, the proposed quality improvement for the company, namely conducting training and training so that employee knowledge and skills increase, selection of pallets according to standards and adding lighting in the work area.

Abstract

 Production planning and control is a theory which discusses all the activities that take place in a production process which includes product planning, costs, production processes, scheduling, forecasting demand and many other products. Planning the amount of inventory that will be owned company is one of the problems often faced by companies. Especially when the inventory is one important factor that can support the company's production processes and help meet customer demand. For companies that have strategies make to stock, inventory can have a major impact on the pricing of the product or the company's finances. Appropriate inventory management can be one of the keys to minimize and optimize the company's costs to be incurred. Determination lot size in MRP is a complex and difficult problem. Lot size is defined as a quantity stated in the order acceptance and delivery of orders in the MRP. Decisions about the size of the lot and when production is very important because it involves the use of labor and equipment are economical. Based on observations there are 13 components which are arranged in the trolley assembly process and are divided into 4 work stations in the production process. After making a map process operations per each work station, the cycle time for 1800 seconds is obtained. Based on data analysis about inventory costs for each component, it can be seen that the calculation using the EOQ method is the method that produces the calculation results with the largest value of Rp. 111,000,500, - then for the L4L and POQ methods produce the calculation results that have the same value of Rp. 16,200,000. Then the decision taken is to choose the L4L method because with this technique can produce exactly how many raw materials needed.

Abstract

Sebagai seorang entrepreneur harus selalu berupaya mencari ide kreatif agar usaha yang dijalankan dapat terus berjalan. Salah satu improvement yang dapat dilakukan adalah mengubah strategi pemasaran dari konvensional (offline) menjadi online atau yang sering disebut online/internet marketing terlebih lagi pada saat kondisi pandemic Covid-19 seperti saat ini. Untuk menjalankan online marketing memang tidak mudah dan butuh ketelatenan. Banyak para peserta yang beranggapan bahwa strategi online marketing sulit untuk dilaksanakan pada hal mereka menyadari bahwa strategi online marketing efektif untuk dilaksanakan terutama di saat-saat pandemic covid-19 ini sehingga pelatihan semacam ini penting untuk dilaksanakan untuk menghilangkan gap berupa ketidaktahuan para peserta. Pelatihan berjalan dengan lancar dan para peserta terlihat antusias dalam melaksanakan pelatihan ini terbukti dari banyaknya pertanyaan yang dilontarkan dan hasil survey feedback menyatakan bahwa 100% mereka setuju pelatihan membawa manfaat untuk pengembangan usaha. Kata kunci— entrepreneur, Covid-19, online marketing As the entrepreneur, they must always try to find creative ideas so that his business can continue to run. One of the improvements that can be made is to change the strategy from conventional (offline) marketing to online or what is often called online / internet marketing first during the Covid-19 pandemic conditions like today. To run online marketing is not easy and requires patience. Many participants thought that online marketing strategies were difficult to implement when they realized that an effective online marketing strategy was to be implemented, especially during this time of the Covid-19 pandemic, so this kind of training is important to carry out to eliminate the gap in the form of participants' ignorance. The training went well and the participants seemed enthusiastic in carrying out the training as evidenced by the many questions asked and the survey results which stated that 100% of them agreed that the training was beneficial for business development. Abstract

PT. ZYX is a foreign company automotive component sector for four-wheeled vehicles. In their third year of mass production, the production capacity reached 116 million pcs, resulting in the high cost of Dies purchase for Cold Heading machines. This condition worsened because things such as Dies having a low lifetime and the lead time for Dies purchasement is in the range of 20-40 days or more, which has the potential to cause machine downtime. This study aims to redesign the Dies of Cold Heading machine used today. Completion of the design uses the Pareto diagram analysis, FMEA, and DFM. The analysis result using the FMEA method shows the highest RPN value of 336 with the potential for insert carbide failure that cracks during assembly. The recommended corrective action is to make assembly support components, namely pokayoke parts, and make work instructions for replacing carbide inserts on Dies. The analysis results using the DFM method shows a change in term of cost. The cost for 1 unit of Dies purchasement was initially Rp. 10,247,113.00, but it dwindles to Rp. 4,623,914.23. Using the redesign to make case dies, lock nuts, collets, and stoppers components, resulted in cost efficiency of 54.87%.

Abstract

Limbah cair pada umumnya mengandung bahan-bahan atau zat-zat yang dapat membahayakan bagi kesehatan manusia serta mengganggu lingkungan hidup. Salah satu komponen pencemar limbah yang berbahaya adalah adanya pencemar logam berat. Logam Nikel merupakan salah satu cemaran berbahaya jika terdapat dalam air apalagi jika digunakan untuk kegiatan sehari-hari. Sebelum limbah cair dibuang ke badan sungai, harus memenuhi baku mutu yang telah ditetapkan sesuai dengan PERMEN LH No. 3 tahun 2010 tentang Baku Mutu Air Limbah bagi Kawasan Industri. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisa logam berat pada limbah industri di suatu kawasan di Industri Karawang baik sebelum maupun setelah proses pengolahan limbah untuk mengetahui tingkat cemaran logam berat Nikel pada limbah cair dan efektifitas pengolahan air limbah di Karawang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa proses pengolahan limbah tersebut efektif menurunkan kadar Nikel terlarut dari rata-rata 0,016 mg/L sebelum proses olah menjadi 0,006 mg/L setelah melalui proses pengolahan air. Penurunan kadar Nikel terbesar selama penelitian dilakukan mencapai 94 % pada sampel pertama. Kandungan Nikel dalam air baku maupun outlet telah memenuhi standar baku mutu Permen LH No.3 Th.2010 yaitu batas makasimal yaitu 0,5 mg/L

Abstract

Desa Karanglingar merupakan desa yang memiliki lahan pertanian yang cukup luas baik itu lahan kering maupun yang berupa persawahan. Rata-rata mata pencaharian warga desa adalah sebagai petani. sehingga mereka sangat potensial untuk memajukan pertanian di Desa Karanglingar. Luas lahan Karangligar 310 ha, rata-rata hasil per ha 7 ton, setahun 2,5 kali panen jadi kalau 5 kali panen per 2 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan di Desa Karanglingar diperlukan adanya kegiatan yang bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan petani tentang pentingnya pengelolaan kualitas padi, mulai pembibitan, perawatan dan panen.
