Abstract

Textile industry contributes the most disposals of synthetic dyes, and about 40% of textile dyes has been generating high amount of colored wastewater. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), such as phenanthrene, is a group of organic compounds, that structurally comprised of two or more benzene rings, which persist in air, water, and soil. The organic pollutants of dyes and PAHs have adversely effects the food chain and are potentially toxic, mutagenic, and carcinogenic to the environment. The objective of this research is to screen and investigate the potential fungus from mangrove forest to degrade azo dyes and phenanthrene.  In this study, fungi were collected from mangrove forest in Riau Province – Sumatra – Indonesia. Previously, Trametes sp. AS03 is one of the fungi isolated from mangrove forest in Riau Province, that was able to decolorize Remazol Brilliant Blue R (RBBR). The capability of Trametes sp. AS03 to decolorize four azo dyes, Remazol B. Violet (V5), Levafix Orange E3GA (Or64), Levafix B. Red E-6BA (R159), and Sumifix S. Scarlet 2GF (R222), were further evaluated. The result shows that Trametes sp. AS03 decolorized 91, 60, 48, and 31 of V5, R222, R159, and Or64, respectively. By showing its capability to decolorize some of the dyes, Trametes sp. AS03 was used to break down phenanthrene. AS03 degraded more than 70% of phenanthrene in 15 days.

Abstract

Uji asal sumber bibit nilam di Pasaman Barat, Sumatera Barat perlu dilakukan sebagai salah satu tahapan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas hasil panen dan minyak nilam. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji tiga asal sumber bibit nilam di Pasaman Barat, Sumatera Barat. Rancangan acak kelompok dilakukan pada penelitian dengan menguji tiga asal sumber bibit nilam sebagai perlakuan yaitu bibit nilam asal Tapak Tuan, asal Dairi dan Sidikalang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan, potensi produksi terna kering, potensi produksi minyak nilam dan kulitas minyak terbaik ditunjukkan oleh nilam asal sumber bibit asal Dairi. Pemanenan pada umur sebelas bulan setelah tanam, nilam asal bibit Dairi menghasilkan potensi produksi terna kering 19,4 ton/ha, potensi produksi minyak 208 kg /ha dan kandungan patchouli alkohol 44,57%.

Abstract

The aliphatic fraction is usually the largest component in crude oil. Its removal from oil contaminated fields has become an environmental priority and been considered useful for enhancing recovery. Our previous studies reported the isolation of Fusarium sp. F092 based on the ability to degrade chrysene. It also could degrade crude oils and their aliphatics fractions. However, aliphatic degradative pathways in crude oil have not been clearly understood. The identification of aliphatic metabolite pathways using a representative compound n-octadecane was carried out in this study, as well as the effect of Piperonyl Butoxide (PB) and Silver Nitrate (AgNO3) on the degradation of n-octadecane and its metabolite. We determined that Fusarium sp. F092 had ability to break down n-Octadecane from about 125 to 13 mg L-1 after 60 days incubation. During degradation, several metabolite products could be detected and identified to form carboxylic acid groups. By the addition of PB and AgNO3, inhibitor of monooxgenase and dioxygenase enzymes, Fusarium sp. F092 had ability to convert n-octadecane to form alkyl hydroperoxides via terminal oxidation pathway with involving a dioxygenase

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang besarnya   pengaruh kelas diameter sumber bahan stek Hopea odorata Roxb. terhadap kemampuan membentuk tunas, berakar, dan daya hidup stek. Tanaman sumber bahan stek (ortet) dibagi berdasarkan kelas diameter dan masing-masing kelas diameter dianalisis untuk melihat kelas diameter ortet yang paling produktif menghasilkan stek berkualitas.    Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas diameter ortet berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pembentukan jumlah tunas, panjang tunas, dan bahan stek yang dihasilkan. Kemampuan bertunas tertinggi adalah bahan stek asal kelas diameter ortet IV (0,78-0,94 cm) dan V (0,95-1,11 cm) dengan nilai 63 % dan 60 %. Kemampuan berakar dan daya hidup bahan stek dari semua kelas diameter ortet di atas 90 %.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang pertumbuhan dan kualitas fisik bibit meranti tembaga (Shorea leprosula Miq.) asal perbanyakan stek pucuk pada tiga tingkat umur. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pengamatan parameter pertumbuhan dan penilaian mutu fisik bibit meranti tembaga umur sebelas bulan setelah sapih (11 BSS), 12 BSS, dan 14 BSS.  Pengamatan dan penilaian tersebut dilakukan terhadap 10 sampel bibit pada tiap tingkat umur bibit yang dipilih  dengan menggunakan metode penarikan contoh acak sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tinggi bibit umur 14 BSS (40,1 cm) berbeda secara nyata (p < 0,05) dengan umur 11 BSS (32,6 cm) dan 12 BSS (32,6 cm); sedangkan kualitas fisik bibit antartingkat umur tidak berbeda nyata. Pada umur bibit 11 BSS bibit sudah siap tanam dengan tinggi 32,6 cm; kekokohan 10,79; rasio pucuk akar 2,58; dan indeks mutu bibit 0,28

Abstract

In realizing the general welfare, the acceleration in the construction sector more incentive. One of them is the development in the field of economy and trade, such as traditional markets. An integral part of the market is a kiosk which is a merchant selling. In implementing the needed development funds are not small so this should be a concern of government, given the limited funds of APBN / APBD. One alternative to overcome the limitations of these funds is through cooperation with the private sector with a system Build Operate and Transfer (BOT). Example analyzed is an agreement between the Government of Bogor Regency with PT. Fortunindo Artha Perkasa to revitalize Ciawi market in 2006. The aim of this study is to determine the actualization of the results of development cooperation agreements with the BOT system Ciawi market as well as to determine the legal certainty of ownership of a kiosk in a legal perspective objects. The method used in this research that the Juridical Sociological (Empirical), namely law as phenomena of society, as institutional, or behavior that develop. The technique of data collection is through a method Interview (interview) and Questionnaire Method. Based on the results of research conducted Writer that actualizing the result of cooperation with the BOT system between Bogor Regency with PT. Fortunindo Artha Perkasa is a mutually beneficial cooperation. The partnership is agreed in the contract that contains the rights and obligations of the parties. The agreement provides advantages, both for the Bogor Regency, PT. Fortunindo Artha Perkasa as well as for merchants. Concerning legal certainty, kiosks in law objects categorized as immovable property and have caused material rights to it, namely, the right material that gives pleasure and the right material that has the properties provide warranty. But, market stalls, if used as a credit guarantee of the legal protection for the debtor itself is weak because the market stall cannot be bound by the guarantee institution in Indonesia.

Abstract

Kekayaan sumber daya alam Indonesia yang besar terbentang mulai dari tegakan hutan hujan tropis yang luas sampai dengan beragam mikroba yang kasat mata. Mereka memerankan fungsi yang saling bertautan untuk menyimbangkan kondisi lingkungan yang ideal. Namun fungsi yang menguntungkan dari mikroba akan hilang saat kondisi lingkungan hutan mendapatkan tekanan, seperti oleh aktivitas illegal logging, kebakaran, konversi dan eksploitasi yang berlebihan. Sejalan dengan perkembangan teknologi, peran dan fungsi mikroba semakin meningkat dengan cepat baik dari segi nilai ekonominya ataupun perannya terhadap lingkungan. Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang beberapa biospospek pemanfaatan mikroba hutan untuk kesehatan (bio-health), lingkungan (bioremediasi, bioplastik), energi (bio-energy), dan kehutanan (pemicu pertumbuhan). Dengan mengetahui manfaaat tersebut diharapakan program perlindungan hutan dan reforestasi dapat dilakukan dengan sungguh-sungguh dengan mempertimbangkan kelestarian sumber daya mikroba yang ada di dalamnya. Diantara upaya pelestarian mikroba hutan adalah dilakukannya kegiatan isolasi, identifikasi dan bio-prospecting untuk berbagai kemanfaatannya, dan hal tersebut harus dilakukan secepat mungkin berlomba dengan tingginya laju kepunahan hutan.

Abstract

Education obtained at an early age greatly affects the development of children both psychomotor development of the brain, and child behavior and achievement when entering adulthood, especially the reach the future of the nation as the next generation must be equipped with education and cultivation of humanity values and personality and karaktek. Equity of early childhood education in various regions is not evenly distributed there are only a few places for rural areas this is caused by the level of knowledge and insight parents who do not understand and the environment that affect. While for urban areas, especially people, the importance of early education because the level of understanding and intellectual is so high, it is a motivation for the government to commit to early childhood education so important to meet the needs of the community for education, policies that support this education has been issued basic law for the organizer, among others, the Decree of the Minister of Education, the Law on Education and the regional level by the Decree of the Head of Region. Government dalah this course can facilitate both building facilities and play facilities for children's games in the room and outdoor games.

Abstract

The Parking Tax Revenue, from 2013 to 2016, experienced ups and downs and less significant increase, especially in 2015, it run into a very significant decrease from the target. This study aims to analyze the implementation of parking management policy in buildings and parking lots in Bandung. The Research uses a qualitative approach, with descriptive research type. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews and literature study. The determination of informants in this study was carried out using the purposive technique. To analyze the data, this research uses  qualitative data analysis, namely by searching and systematically compiling data obtained from interviews, field notes, and other materials. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Peraturan Wali Kota No. 1005 of 2014 regarding Parking Lease Prices and Technical Guidelines for Parking Management in Buildings and Parking Grounds in Bandung City has not been running optimally, because it has been seen from several factors that influence it.
