Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of information technology-based Arabic learning media in the Arabic Language Center (PKPBA) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This research is a descriptive quantitative study. The research subjects are lecturers of PKPBA UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang 2018-2019. The research instruments are observation and questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical data analysis. The results shows that: 1) most lecturers (90%) have used information technology-based learning media in Arabic learning, 2) information technology-based learning media used are diverse, the most used are LCD projector and social media such as WhatsApp, Youtube, and Instagram, and 4) there are many obstacles faced by lecturers when using information technology-based learning media, namely learning media cannot be used for all lessons, media used is not in accordance with the time span of the lesson, the internet connection is low, the electrical power is accidentally shut down, the campus facilities does not support, and the lecturers are unskillfull in using media.

Abstract

Pemahaman dan penggunaan komputer merupakan hal yang mutlak dilakukan oleh seluruh bidang kehidupan, termasuk bidang pendidikan. Komputer telah banyak digunakan dalam usaha-usaha mengembangkan dan meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi proses belajar mengajar.  Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran bahasa arab yang dilakukan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah mendesain program pembelajaran bahasa arab dengan menggunakan komputer. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mendesain program pembelajaran bahasa arab dengan menggunakan program komputer Power Point dan mengetahui pendapat para ahli pembelajaran bahasa arab, guru bahasa arab, dan siswa tentang kesesuaian dan menariknya program yang dihasilkan untuk pembelajaran bahasa arab di SMA Negeri 1 Malang.Penelitian pengembangan ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan proses validasi yang dilakukan oleh tiga ahli pembelajaran bahasa arab, satu guru bahasa arab, dan 39 siswa SMA Negerin 1 Malang. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Program pembelajaran bahasa arab yang didesain dengan program power point terdiri dari: (a) slide utama dan pendahuluan, (b) slide daftar isi, (c) slide petunjuk penggunaan, (d) slide-slide materi pembelajaran, (d) slide penutup, dan (e) slide riwayat hidup desainer; (2) Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dihasilkan secara keseluruhan sangat baik, sesuai dan menarik untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 1 Malang. Dari proses desain dan hasil ujicoba tesis penelitian, peneliti dapat mengungkapkan bahwa desain program pembelajaran bahasa arab perlu dilaksanakan guna menunjang keberhasilan pembelajaran bahasa arab.

Dari proses desain dan hasil ujicoba tesis penelitian, peneliti dapat mengungkapkan bahwa desain program pembelajaran bahasa arab perlu dilaksanakan guna menunjang keberhasilan pembelajaran bahasa arab. The using of computer - as one of technology- had became the requirement for all fields in the word, included education field. It has been used to make the improvements in teaching and learning. One of these efforts as that is conducted by researcher in this study is to design learning program using computer program. This research aims are to design computer based learning program for teaching of arabic using power point program at Senior High School 1 of Malang and to know the opinions of the arabic teaching experts, teacher and students about the designed program. This development research is a descriptive qualitative one. The research validation is done by three experts, one teacher and thirty nine students studing arabic at Senior High School 1 of Malang. The results of this research are : (1) This computer based learning program using powerpoint program consists of (a) introduction slide, (b) contents slide, (c) instruction slide, (d) study items slides, (e) closing slide, and (f) biography slide; (2) Opinions from experts, teacher and the students about the computer based learning program using powerpoint program are : the product as a whole is very good, has a good suitability and a good attraction. From the process of designing computer based learning program and the result of the validation, thesis of this study that researcher able to tell is that designing arabic learning program is required to support success in teaching and learning arabic language. الاهتمام بالحاسوب واستخدامه حاجة ماسة في كافة ميادين الحياة، ومن أهمها ميدان التربية. استخدم المربون والمهتمون بالعملية التعليمية والتعلمية الحاسوب كإحدى الوسائل التعليمية أم إحدى المواد الدراسية لترقية عملية التعليم والتعلم.. وفي هذا البحث، حاول الباحث تنمية نوعية تعليم اللغة العربية بواسطة تصميم البرامج التعليمية باستخدام الحاسوب. والهدفان الرئيسيان من هذا البحث هما: لمعرفة كيفية تصميم البرامج التعليمية باستخدام برنامج الحاسوب باور بوينت في تعليم اللغة العربية في المدرسة الثانوية الحكومية الأولى مالانج، ورأي الخبراء والمدرس والطلبة في مناسبة البرامج التعليمية المصممة ببرنامج الحاسوب باور بوينت بتعليم اللغة العربية في المدرسة الثانوية الحكومية الأولى مالانج وجاذبيتها. هذا البحث التطوري عدله مجموعة من 3 خبراء في تعليم اللغة العربية، ومدرس اللغة العربية، و39 طالبا. أما نتائج البحث هي: (1) البرامج التعليمية المصممة ببرنامج الحاسوب (باور بيوبنت) تم تصميمها وتتكون من الشاشات: (أ) الشاشة التعريفية، (ب) الشاشة لفهرس شاشات البرامج التعليمية، (ج) الشاشة الإرشاداتية، (د) الشاشات للمواد الدراسية، (هـ) الشاشة للاختتام، و(و) الشاشة عن معلومات المصمم الشخصية. (2) تدل نتائج التجربة على أن هذه البرامج التعليمية المصممة باستخدام برنامج الحاسوب باور بوينت مناسبة جدا لتعليم اللغة العربية في المدرسة الثانوية الحكومية الأولى مالانج، جذابة جدا. انطلاقا من عملية التصميم ونتائج التجربة، فمعطيات هذا البحث التي يمكن أن يقدمها الباحث هي أن تصميم البرامج التعليمية في تعليم اللغة العربية محتاج إليه أيضا لدعم نجاح عملية تعليم اللغة العربية.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the strategic management at the language institute of Hasyim Ay’ari University Jombang, Indonesia to improve students' Arabic language competence starting from the formulation stage, implementation and evaluation. A qualitative descriptive approach as an alternative to this research method, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation study. From the research it can be concluded that the language institute of Hasyim Ay’ari University Jombang has used good strategic management. This can be seen from the strategy formulation that has been proven by the existence of a strategy formulation composed of a vision, mission and environmental analysis which is then applied into a strategy. Second, the implementation of strategies in the form of several programs and activities that are compiled by the curriculum and tailored to the needs of students. Third, strategy evaluation is carried out using two techniques, namely the program evaluation technique and results evaluation. The final result of this evaluation aims to determine the effectiveness of a program that has been designed and implemented in order to improve student competence. And problems that occur can be found in several aspects, including: administration, infrastructure, accommodation and teaching staff. Which causes less optimal and even not implementing several programs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of children's literature and religious values in the book al-Qira'ah al-Rasyidah Volume 1. This research is qualitative research with a content analysis approach. The data was collected through documentation techniques. The data was further analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results showed that: (1) children's literature containing religious values in the book Al-Qira'ah al-Rasyidah Volume 1 contained in 13 stories, with various forms of children's literature, namely: realism (stories of realism and animal stories), traditional literature (fable), and fantasy literature (fantasy stories), (2) religious values contained in children's literature in the book al-Qira'ah al-Rasyidah Volume 1 generally takes the form of worship and morals, namely: responsibility, loving plants, sincerity, not making animals wrong, empathizing like visiting sick people, not looking down on others, positive thinking, diligently working, using time well, honesty, not sacrificing the interests of others for personal gain, keep promises, diligent, educate children wisely, cooperative and not selfish.

Abstract

The Holy Quran was filled with the miracle of God, one of isBadi’.  Badi’ is  the sciences of rhetoric, which is the science of Arabic language, which examines the rules of the Arabic language method used in writing and conversation. Badi’ is looking at the meaning or the word in terms of decorating and refining it. Mahmoud Sheikhan said that he knew of the object of improving the speech that is appropriate and clear. The researcher looked for the science of Badi’ in Surrah Al-Fath because this surrah is Madaniyah surrah, The Victory surrah for believers on infidels. And its has characteristics by the other in terms of wonderful methods that indicate the eloquence of the Quran. The methodology of this research is qualitative descriptive approach. The result of the research is: 1. The verses that include the numerals: verses 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 27, and 29; Verses containing the interview: verses 24 and 25. 2. The verses that include verbal enhancements in Surat Al-Fath are as follows: The verses that include the Courage: Verse 4-5, 11-13, 16-17, 19-20, 21-22, 25-26 and The verses that include the budget: Verse 6-11, 13-15, 18-19, 24-25, 27-29. Keyword: Badi’, Al-Fathi surrah.

Abstract

Abstrak: A song is one of the literary works that became a part of social life representation. This research discus about “the sadness” in the song titled Ya Quds by Nawal Az-Zaghbi with sociological approach of literary work. This song tells about expressions of sadness occurred in Yarussalem society because of unendless war that caused many damages. The theme of the song is about nationalism in idealism and culture in sacrifice. The research question in this research is how the lament of sadness is contained in the song Ya Quds by Nawal az-Zaghbi according to George Lucass. This research uses descriptive qualitative method which explains a research by words with explanation that defines how the condition is. The purpose of this research is to describe how the threnodies of sadness occurred in Yarussalem society, either the sadness of decay or the sadness of pain. The data in this research is known by sociological theory of literary work which assumes that literary work is a result of the real condition of society and representation of their live. Depends on this research, it is concluded that expressions occurred in the song Ya Quds is what happened in Yarussalem society. Yarussalem society who are sad because of lossing their family and missing to the peaceful of their country.  Kata Kunci : The Sadness, Song of Ya Quds, George Lucas

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the form of social conflict; (2) reveal the causes of social conflict; and (3) understand the negative and positive impacts of the social conflict. This study uses qualitative, descriptive, and literature. The primary data source is the short story “Tepi Shire”, while the secondary data source is articles and books on the sociology of literature. Data collection techniques using reading and note-taking techniques. The researcher's data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results in this study are (1) the implementation of social conflicts in the form of an introvert, indifference, self-defense, and nepotism; (2) the cause of the social conflict is the difference in opinion and interests; (3) negative impacts, namely: causing loss of social interaction, harming oneself and others, being labeled ugly in the eyes of others. The positive impact is that it can increase concentration, strengthen yourself from insults, is not easily disturbed by others, and there is an urge to improve yourself. This research is expected to complement the results of previous research on social conflict in literary works and become a reference material for other researchers who want to study the sociology of literature.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the basic concepts, the implementation and the benefits of the Quantum Teaching method in learning Arabic which is effective in the new normal era. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation, with qualitative data analysis techniques; Miles and Huberman: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of the Quantum Teaching method can increase the students’ learning motivation and students’ learning outcomes according to the minimum completeness criteria. Therefore, this method can be used as an alternative for active learning in the new normal period. The application of this method also has drawbacks, such as the existence of several activities that can interfere with other class learning activities such as singing and clapping hands in order to give the symbols of appreciation or praise to students for the achievement of their learning outcomes. Researcher hopes that this study research can become a reference for the Arabic teachers in choosing Arabic learning methods actively which are able to foster students' creativity to produce innovation in the learning process.

Abstract

Studies on the factors that influence students' enthusiasm for learning Arabic are still focused on the strategies and media used. Therefore, this paper presents a systematic study of various educator personalities that can motivate students to learn Arabic. This research used a literature study approach. The articles were selected using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) approach and were analyzed using a framework of five professional teacher personalities. In the results of this study, several essential findings were described: (1) a steady and stable personality is manifested by the conformity of the attitude of Arabic educators to the prevailing norms, (2) mature personality is implemented in a positive enthusiasm of learning interaction between educators and students, (3) an educator's prudent and wise personality in the Arabic learning process is implemented in the form of neutrality or equitable behavior towards all students, (4) an authoritative and polite personality is actualized in a comfortable and positive atmosphere when the Arabic learning process occurs, and (5) a noble character is manifested by the educator’s example who in his daily life is always active in using Arabic so that it affects the motivation of students to be active in speaking Arabic.
